Guilbeau says a judge can order someone to be bound, gagged, duct taped, or removed from the courtroom. “They know better. They can be held in contempt and in this case, he got his mouth taped. He should have calmed down and done what she told him several times, in my opinion,” said Guilbeau.

He's not "mentally unstable", he's simply never got a an azz whooping when he disrespected people. Got away with disrespecting others all his life.
When he gets a life bid, and has say 5 or 6 years in on it, and realizes it when he's laying in his bed at 3 a.m. in his cell some night it's going to hit him; I'm never getting out. Then he'll be like wtf!!
I know this because I did 17 years in various State prisons due to my former azzhole ways, and I knew young gangbangers, like them in prison. And it takes awhile for it to sink in.

Sir. Pardon me, but that is exactly what mental illness is. They are demonstrating the ability to not only commit a most Hanus crime, but they are able to stuff those actions in a corner of the brain that hides or transfers the act so one can go about their day. I.E. Charles Manson, Hannible Lector is a great fiction example. They take horrific thoughts or impulses and morphs them into data that their brain thinks it's ok, allowing them to go on about their day.

The judge better make a mockery of these two and make them an example of why just because you’re a teen or 18 doesn’t mean you can do whatever you want and just get a “slap on the wrist” without dealing with any consequences… The kid even said “watch I’ll be out in 30 days” to the cops who arrested him. They think it’s a joke. They think because one is 16 and one is 18 that they’ll just be let free with probably probation. The judge needs to make it clear that’s not how the world or the justice system works and they should be held to the highest level of accountability. Max sentence. Life without parole or at least no parole until they’ve served at least 30-40 years. Idc if they’re “kids”. Normal well behaved kids don’t steal cars and then run down cyclists while laughing and recording it like it’s a game. They made their choices and now they need to deal with them, no leniency for them at all. A long harsh sentence will also make other teens and young adults rethink their decision before ending up spending the rest of their lives in Prison.
