Yeah, that product is the same style. Those products are so "multi use friendly" that they should be in every backpack. I am thinking to gett my self the larger version "Jervenduken Hunter Fjäll" since that will be better for our family as a shelter (and you can use it as a sleeping bag).
Hello. I'm looking for some advice. Is the jerven bag compatible with a down quilt or bag inside, or will it compress the down. What temp rating of quilt would you recommend for a UK winter taking into account the jerven insulation. How much extra heat will it give me? Also. I'm interested what rating bag I would need for a Finnish winter as in around minus 20 Deg. Thanks in advance. Sam
Hey mate! I've used my Jerven hunter king size as my go-to winter tent for a couple of years now. I combine it with a foam mat (outside of bag), exped6r (-25), and a down sleeping bag(-10), if bellow -15 C i bring an additional down blanket. Works excellent in northern norway, light for a winter setup. I think the test done with the thermo bag made -16 feel like 15 C.
I have been looking at these for a number of years. I could happily walk and camp in this for days.
To boost the temperateur even further, you can burn a little candle inside a kettle or pot.
I have the Helsport fjellduk pro and love it. First thing that goes into the backpack

Great piece of kit!
It is really great. So robust and made to last.
Nice informative video. Greetings from Finland!

Do you think it will work overnight as a sleep bag?
I bought the more insulated version just to use as a sleeping bag
