This brings back so many memories. The Lion King Jr. was the first musical I've ever done. I played Mufasa and Adult Simba and it also was my favorite musical I've done.

Im a giraffe and giraffes, birds and antelope are all doing a dance to this. We all hold tea lights (electric candles) and its rlly cool! I wear a giraffe head and have long sticks as my front legs, and i have to walk on stage with them! Im so excited!

Oh! I was tech crew peep and those who were upon the deck (5 people in year 8 including me) made a little inside joke for this song. We all agreed that 'nengw' enamabala' is now 'Daycare for a llama' as long as we were around. And I am so glad that our musical didn't get shut down at the time, as it only just missed the outbreak of the Corona Virus. The first show was on the 6th of March and had two shows the following day. The experience of seeing the months and months of hard work in a school musical was amazing.

I was in 6th grade at the time. I got casted for Ed the hyena. Even though I didn’t have very many lines, these songs bring a feeling of nostalgia. I am currently a sophomore in high school, and it feels like a fever dream. It was in November of 2019. At the time, being in it was the most fun I’ve had. I’d honestly give anything to go back or do it again
So.... I tried out for Nala, Pumbaa, and Mufasa.... I realllly wanted to get her because of her solo shadowland........I didn't get her..... So I was hoping for Pumbaa because my friend Aryanna got timon.... I didn't get him.... So I was just hoping for Mufasa..... And I got him. I was kinda mad until, I found out he actually sings!! Cause I just wanted to sing.... But I started to freak out when I found out it is a solo
I have the lion king play in a few days for my 8th grade Drama Club and have a somewhat deep voice. I’m a little bit nervous for the big performance. People are even going to be paying for tickets. I also feel a bit awkward about the song because I am going to have to do a voice change from extremely deep, to a much higher pitch. I’ve tried my hardest to find a median range, but It just doesn’t sound right. Besides all that, I’m really excited and can’t wait to sing this song. I mean, hey, I’ve got to get it perfect in at least one of the four performances… right?😅😅😅
When I was young Simba, we had to sit on a wood box covered with cardboard and painted to look like a rock... I had a kinda long shirt (cause I'm a realy small person) and in the middle of this song, my shirt got caught in one of the cracks... I got it out after a couple of minutes.
