The girl who’s sings this in my show is sooooo good (she’s my friend) and ngl when she sang in Swahili I got goosebumps and almost started crying cause I was so proud of her at that moment

Ok so... I am in a production of lion king and I am playing scar. We were in tech week when the pandemic happened. Tomorrow we are doing a concert of all of the songs in the show, but Nala couldn’t come so now I have to be both scar AND Nala and learn the songs. I was told today and I am SO excited 😆

I'm sarabi in our production this year (simbas mom) and do me and Sarafina (Nalas mom) have a special part in this. Sarafina gets her mom moment and I have to lead her away from her kid. I love the details our directors put into our productions.
This song makes me sad, now that my production of Lion King is over

Thank you, I was Nala for my school production and we had to perform this 6 times. I also went to a festival where I sang this on the main stage in front of hundreds of people 😅
In 5th grade I was YOUNG nala but I memorized it and this show made me the actress I am today. I’m IN THINGS!

This, without a doubt - one of the best moments in the Lion King production. I’m so glad they brought the production to New Zealand 😭 I cried, with no shame. It was truly a beautiful and remarkable performance.

In my school's play someone's also young Nala and a lioness. Because Nala is technically a lioness even when she was young.

I was in this production once. I played ensemble and one of the wildebeest, no major role. But, I got to sing on all of the songs! This one was my favorite to work on! I miss those days.

There is 2 days till my play and we haven’t done dress rehearsal yet and bear in mind that tmr is Sunday which means we only have Monday to do dress rehearsal and our play has 2 showings 1 on Tuesday and one on Wednesday. I’m stressed out 😂😂
