I can assure you that guitar wants to be played, has plenty to say, and if there's anyone qualified in skill, respect or morality to play it, it's Warren. And total respect to whoever owns it for letting it be played.
Best version of West L.A. Fade Away I have EVER heard!!!! Thanks for all of the really awesome music. you guys rock!!!!!!
Chimenti's keyboard skills are awesome! He reminds me of Brent a little.....RIP BRENT...
And a lot like Keith too, the little jazz fills, Bill Evans type stuff
I love Jerry Garcia's music and beautiful thing to celebrate his birthday every time it happens don't let that deal go down when they will come from because Jerry is still with us in spirit I love and I can hear the music and Jerry's right there
Hey Bobby someone....you mean the world to us. I Watch you and am amazed at you and GOD BLESS THE MEMBERS SINGING IN "HEAVEN" He's not dead...he is forever alive. I was "stinkin thinkin" how about Bobby and MR.Willie get together.? We "i" BELIEVE THAT WOULD BE ONE HEL- OF A SONG
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I've enjoyed this so much. need to come back from time to time as get some more. Thanks for making this available. So sweet
I believe Jerry would share dead or alive. thats what he allways stood for...this is a tribute to him.......amazing music.......keeps the beauty alive
YES great rendition of that tune;;
Boy, they jazzed this gem up. "The music never stops!"
I'm hoping to get an invitation next time! Thanks so much for sharing this. I'm getting chicken skin listening to this.
Es una delicia escuchar a este par MUSICOS es una maravilla.esas guitarras a lo Jerry Garcia son una delicia.me ha encantado.si vinieran a Madrid no dudaría en ir a verlos
Man! West L.A. Fade away! The groove is funky! Yeaaah!
I hear Jerry Garcia in the music and I heard a famous man say one time in a song Let There Be music to fill the air (~);} (~);} (~);}
This is wonderful, thank you!!!
Dance to it!❤
what an honor it must have been to play Wolf
I love Bob's acustic stuff! 🌹💀🌹
Love you Bobby!!!!
I would say that this jer kyd dude knows even less about Warren Haynes than he does Jerry... "pretend they are God..." He is an embodiment of music not unlike Jerry, and we should all be appreciative that he is so gifted to be able to carry on the music. Brilliant stuff, thanks for the post bobbynoe1
great, thanks!
WOW awesome !!!!!!!
Bobby sounds great on the acoustic!!!
No need to doubt it. Just watch 1:02:48 - Warren's talking about "his" guitar: "Les Paul is considered a heavy guitar, my Les Paul weights 7 1/2 pounds - this weights 14 and a half pounds"
Yes, it's Wolf - you can see the inlay at about 1:09:24.
For more information check out dozin.com/jers/guitars/wolf/wolf.htm
i actually enjoy it, did you not know you could leave.
VERY nice.
Sugaree at 26.00 Love it...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A+
We're Here is name of the fishing boat in Stevenson's "Captain's Courageous", coming-of age tale emphasizing hard work and trashing feelings of entitlement
Damn right!
very true,,,,,if you go down to the tenderlion and the mission, there are dead heads everywhere starving,,,,,,,the remaining members,, PLEASE GET A HEART AND HELP FEED YOUR FANS
Back to music - great vocals and guitars, but not to forget the rhythm section, especially the bass: unobtrusive, lively, tasteful (e.g. 1:13:00).
Does Haynes own Wolf now? Saw him playing it on the recent symphonic concerts. Probably out on loan from some rich guy who really owns it. Tiger and Rosebud are in the R&R Hall of Fame aren't they?
🌈😎🌈
$30 million and $13 million dollar musical chops
it probably helped recreate JG's types of sound
I wish warren were touring with Furthur. Annd that Mickey and kreutzman and hornsbey were there too!
BOBBY!!!
I am not going to be silent any longer....;I always went with the notion that if you didn't attend that specific show that i didn't matter ......Guess what ????? the power of God has brought me eve4y fucking Gig I want to be at...and if Warren is there then I'm there...and my watering Glands do nothing but pour and pour Love you bro ..........Dead Head 1960
Man I wish these cats would play Florida a little more often (~);}
Hey brother I am willing to guess you are way too young to truly understand, I am sure you missed the buss! Jerry was just one part of the band. The music was more then music it started a new culture. No need for such harsh words brother, music is bigger then anyone of us and it must go on. Yea Jerry was great and is missed but we are still here and must carry on what was started in honor of him and the countless others who gave it all on stage for us. Peace brother!
But it's alllllllllll gooooooodd
Haynes must be talking about a weight-relieved Les Paul. Strats are about 7 1/2 lbs aren't they. I thought a solid Paul was more like 10 lbs anyway. I don't think I could take a 14 1/2 guitar for a whole set, I don't care how balanced it was.
Beethoven and Bach were taking ideas from Jazz music.. LoL. The golden years of Bob Weir.
??? What are you talking about ???
you mean they allowed you to be at the show.
Hot Frickin Diggity Dog
It looks like it but I doubt it. the guitar looks lighter than Jerrys but hell, What do I know. Sounds awesome though!
You think you love Jerry? I think you don't understand neither his musical attitude nor his personality. Please stop insulting other people that really enjoy Jerrys music, and appreciate the musicians that keep on playing his music in such a great and respectful way.
Nice post bobbynoe1 ...enjoyed very much. I hate to see someone like jer kyd ruin the good vibes from the great music....just let the poor soul rant. He obviously is an incomplete person who is very bitter about something. PEACE!
Hey jer kyd....you my friend have serious issues. You do neither yourself or Jerry's wonderful memory any honor by ranting obscenities about subject matter you clearly have no real understanding of. If you have even the most elementary knowledge of who Jerry Garcia was, you would know that not only would he have no issues with Warren playing his guitar, he would be ever-so-humbly flattered & honored. Because that is the kind of wonderful soul the man was and still is in our minds and hearts.
golly, that jer kyd seems to have a few issues, eh! peace and love on two legs, he is. not.
I think we all agree Bobby has got to get rid of that facial hair...
..and to insult one of the founding members of The Grateful Dead to try and support your rant just shows how little you really do know bro. You are free to express your opinion however you like. However, you may want to read some of the stuff you write BEFORE sending it off into cyberspace. Just to be sure you REALLY want to say what you just typed. Just a thought bro....PEACE
What's this talk show BS ?? Nice trinkets and pencils bobby
you would think all the dead heads living in the streets,,well they cry all night booby,,how about you stop playing around and feed all the people that made you rich,,GIVE A LITTLE BACK BOBBY TO THE HEADS THAT NEVER MADE IT HOME
He gave you the soundtrack to your life and a path... with all respect, the rest is up to you brother.
I know Bob and.the dead fought for a good cause trying to save rain forrests back in the day. Perhaps he and they are still in involved with this. Thats a good cause.he has promoted and Im sure.he is involved with other charities we dont know about
Great motto: "WE MADE YOU RICH. YOU OWE US". (Eyeroll)
you think,,get real he's too busy makeing money,,tell me of one eveny he did for the hoemeless dead heads in the mission and tenderloin???????????????????????????????????????????????????????
