There are endless fun recipes that can be enjoyed by everyone on this channel - for those who are GF/vegan or not!! I LOVE how normalized he makes it!

HELL YEAH! to your mom! It's so difficult with special dietary needs. I remember my mom getting diagnosed with Celiac's around 15 yrs ago and it was so difficult and expensive to find anything safe for her to eat; we started finding Bob's Red Mill at Wegmans and thankfully the market snapped gluten-free stuff up and made the demand higher (seriously thank you, fad diets!). Good luck with your Celiac's and I hope you heal well and stay well!

i’m allergic to latex and it has a similar molecular make up to latex (as bananas do as well) so my body reacts to it as well. mines only mild tho!

Fun fact: When Julien was whacking the avocado pit with the knife to remove it- I had flash backs. I did that last year, my blade slid, and I sliced all the way through my hand to the bone. I had to get 24 stitches. Good times

Kayla Mitchell that’s horrifying, if you choose to cut an avocado that way again, hold a folded dish towel that completely covers your whole hand in the hand with the avocado (so hand, towel, avocado). At least that way if you miss it just hits the layers of dish towel
It honestly warms my heart that Julien genuinely enjoys cooking not only for himself and his passion but for Jenna and his family
His complete inability to mentally gauge the size of the bowl required for the job gives me anxiety.
