Okay! I have a recipe. Kind of. I’ve made it a bunch of times loosely based on the foodfaithfitness gluten free stuffing recipe (it won’t let me add a link). I use less chicken broth, add polish sausage, and finish it under the broiler until it’s all crispy and delicious. I also add some everything bagel seasoning.
julien directed me to this video the other day in stream because this is my first year being a vegetarian during the holidays and i have no idea where to start. i really appreciate that they have this sort of content up for those of us who are newly vegetarian/vegan to look at and use as a guide. i'm just extremely appreciative of jenna and julien in general and i really hope she's taking care of herself and doing well ❤

Can we talk about how Jenna was casually/lowkey hinting about how not good she was and we all were like “haha relatable” instead of like “oh yikes”
There were lots of signs she wasn't okay especially in the month or so leading up to her goodbye video. Its nobody's fault that she left, and I don't know that her viewers recognizing her issues would have changed anything.
Personally I think on top of her regular mental problems the police brutality stuff going around at the time and the pandemic, as well as people calling out shane dawson for the millionth time just really got to her.
Regardless she is getting help now and people who miss her should just try to be happy that jenna is doing what's best for her :3

I wonder what it means though. I'm not sure it's complete insensitivity. It is ultimately the internet, so it's not impossible that attributes to the perception of distance. But, at the same time, she appears honest, so I'm not sure if people didn't take her seriously and just thought she was just saying relatable stuff for reasons. The nature of the screen really makes the whole "human" thing hard because a lot of stuff is just... Humorous. And it's easier to laugh stuff off than think deeper on it.

This came out just as I started college, and I cannot tell you how much comfort this video brought this lonely college kid. I watch this every year in preparation for thanksgiving (a holiday that is typically filled with uncomfortable conversations and unpleasant debates- which I know is so very common) and it just makes me feel the slightest bit better about it.

All The Love Yeah honestly that is just white people food. I’m white and I️ learned to cook from my parents, I learned to cook with good ass spices from my best friend/roommate, my parents passed down the recipes, he told me what seasoning to add in to make it better. So I️ made amendments to the original recipes, I’ll be damned if I️ pass unseasoned chicken/beef/pork/tofu/wtf ever to my children.

Me too, like they cook how I cook... it's just normal vegan food. And it's also nice that they actually have a reason for making things gluten free and it's not just cuz it's trendy. I think most vegans are like this but the ones online tend to go for this very niche vegan "healthy" aesthetic that just doesn't appeal to most people.
I remember watching this one when it came out and crying because I just wanted a wholesome thanksgiving with my ex boyfriend and we were fighting like we always did and just being so sad and hoping I’d find this someday. This year I just celebrated my first wholesome thanksgiving with my husband in our own home and loving every bit of it thank you for sharing your sweet moments with us and for sharing hope of what could be. If anybody out there is in an abusive relationship just know that i mean this with the most love but it will not ever get better and it’s okay to walk away and you deserve to love yourself first it’s okay to be alone for a while and figure things out. And what’s really meant for you will find you.

Rewatched this at the perfect time of year, decided to do my Thanksgiving cooking before Thanksgiving day (we eat the leftovers all week after, what's the difference if I warm it back up day of?) and now I've had half the day before Thanksgiving to start my pre-holiday lazing around, knowing that my food is ready to be warmed and eaten tomorrow.
