The reason why it can't takes off at first was because the plane is very long, the tail just pushes the ground whenever you tilt the elevator down. But nice, you managed to solve the take off issue with tilting the plane. Other than that, you can also add it more lift with propellers as wings, but I understand if you want the style to be more wing panels. And I think I still learn something new from your RTC system.
He could of also solved it by using tricycle landing gears instead. Unlike taildraggers, the pivot point would be on the main wheels and since the tail is not contacting the ground, it won't have any problems. Alternatively, he could just use cards which would lift the nose up instead of pushing the tail down like elevators.
The next thing Besiege needs is wings that produce lift (I know the propellers produce lift but their angle makes them annoying to use as wing surfaces)
The problem with building planes isn't lift, it's propulsion power. If you can generate enough forward force it's very easy to keep the plane in the air by just pulling up a little.
How can you combine the RTC system into a suspension one, for example, on your monster truck design, which you also made a video testing it's suspension, I've been trying to fogure out how you did it.
Could you please do a tutorial on the mechanical side of what you do interms of rotations and things like that. I try to understand what you do but it makes no sense to me.
At 1:17 when you finally get the center block to move within a certain area without it falling out, how do you do that and the physics, also what pieces used and stuff like that. Basically what you made at 1:17(the small wiggly contraption) and smaller concepts like that, would be nice to learn in a tutorial vid.
***** Ah okay, that's where I was going wrong when I tried making my own :P Thanks for the replies by the way, I found your channel today and love the videos :)
Uh... why are people acting like this is revolutionary? Using no mods is pretty standard for most people, I myself use mods only a little or to save labour.
Its clear to see this guy is watching a guide on all of theese while he builds... u can find the ORIGINAL masterminds behind these creations on other channels.
I have never watched guides on basic stuff like these. Most of them you can learn by simply having basic knowledge about physics and how things work. The rest I learned by dissecting/reverse engineering other creations.
Absolutely amazing!!
That two piston thing is really innovative, and when combined with those hinges it becomes gorgeous! :)

@@neurofiedyamato8763 yes.
this is such a great idea. its like going back to the basics!

why is there a shadow of a giant sphere of doom
Brilliant. I've just started to play this game and I have learned a huge amount from you in just a few minutes. Thanks so much.
majestic looking quad copter I must say
Him: makes a fully functional plane
Me: hey no you can't do that
youuuu....finally .... I found a worthy opponent ...
Cool video. After watching this I had a go at refining that RTC for battlebot machines. I think I have done it! Thanks for the idea :)
The walking animation on the walker :P So pretteh
Best tutorial I've ever watched.
so that's how you make a gyroscope for turning! thank you!
Awesome work, I also worked on this topic and it is extremely interesting to see how we came out with different solutions.

DARPA would be proud!
Thank you for preparing this video.
I miss the old sandbox :(
Awesome!! I love the quadcopter
thank you very much for the idea!
Wow did they accept you at Boston Dynamics? lol
Nice music choice

Casual Bird or do we? Check my plane out.

if you use the tiny blades and make from it a wing it works ass wing with lift

Very Nice!

just have the wheel mounted on the suspension and the suspension mounted on the RTC
VERY GOOD !!!!!
very creative.
I like this plane this is so cool
You deserve more subs.
Pls make a Quad chopper tutorial

What do you mean? Can you please elaborate?

Here's a playlist of all tutorials i've made, maybe you'll find what you're looking for. ruclips.net/p/PLQDOWrEWngTBGMWlU0fAmiEfkSYIrBPyU
Loshirai14 ill have a look, Thanks :)
For the quadcopter, why did you put braces attached to nothing on the wheels on the main body? at 5:45
It's a reaction wheel for yaw
***** But would it not work without the braces? Is that what gives it's rotation?
It will not work without the braces. The wheels on itself is not meant to be a reaction wheels.
***** Ah okay, that's where I was going wrong when I tried making my own :P Thanks for the replies by the way, I found your channel today and love the videos :)
how is it done though?
how did the end of the brace jump from the side of the wooden block to the center of the wheel
Cool!!!! Are the builds on steam? I wish I could have the files for these, they look really fun!
Just watch the video in slow motion and recreate what he does
how u already know how to make all that so fast+?
Teach me sensei!
can you publish those
Not bad but I think you should cut the plane short or put it last. I think most people came for the quad and the walker.
This is so cool.
can you make video for how to make RTC steering

sir, you are amazing...
mine just spinns uncontrolaby around any suggestions?
Invert a few of the rotors
What's the name of the music theme at 6:10?
+hahahaIloveyoutub100 League of Legends Quinn and Valor ruclips.net/video/nmgH1ZSBv3w/видео.html
cool plane can you upload it

What music did you use?
check the description :)
Sorry, tired. Didn't see "Show More" Thanks! Great vid.
Awesome. Here's u like man. :D
why is it so flappy
:O
Amazing!
sorry for comment spam but can i use ur RTCS on my builds?
+Alghult's Channel (TheBesiegeEngineer) Why not?
***** thx
Бутет страшно когда ты маленький а этот шняга так ходит ещё ночю
Wow
U rule.
i know u somewhere, U WERE THE GUY WHO MADE THE AWP MOD FOR SKYRIM!!!! www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60292/? am i right? :)
It was me. I make shitty mods :)
Wow,You is incrible

No mods is not a challenge.
