It glides well and sinks in fairly quickly but gotta agree with you, it leaves a shiny sheen that needs a bit of managing. I have to really cut down my routine incl. the serums when using it. I completely replaced my Paula's choice 2% BHA with Isntree's chestnut toner. My skin just likes it better. But my guilty pleasure is home-made sheet masks with the onion toner. That is undoubtedly my favourite.
Definitely want to try out the yam root series and the BHA toner. Seriously, that toner is the only affordable dupe to the Paula's Choice in Asia. Isntree is really a blessing to dry skin folks with pimples.

i recently used the isntree green tea cleanser from my sister for a week and this thing was the the holy grail! my skin is incredibly prone to acne, anything might trigger a breakout for me. But using this cleanser for a week did not break me out. It's not drying, it removes all the oil without being harsh, and most importantly, it didn't cause me to break out. I stopped using it because my sister travelled and took the cleanser with her, i tried searching for the cleanser in my country and it wasn’t available anywhere. so it would be a very pleasant opportunity to enter this giveaway as hopefully i’ll get to use the cleanser again. You are a real one for this!!

As someone with incredibly oily and dehydrated skin, the Isntree Fresh Green Tea Toner is G.O.A.T! I put it on a spray bottle and spray multiple times. My skin absolutely eats it up. My skin doesn't feel tight and it's super bouncy. Thank you so much for recommending this in previous videos, even though you have drier skin. And if Yoda had a youtube acct, he would say "away in giving, join I would like".
@@12wer3wer9 apologies for the late response. No, it does not. I also usually do my skincare before putting on my clothes in the morning, and am in a tank top. It's such a light mist and so small, that I doubt it would stain it.

I have SO many HGs from Isntree. The TW-Real Bifida Ampoule is my absolute HG, it saved my skin when I had a rogue reaction to manyo's bifida ampoule. Have repurchased so many times and will continue to do so probably forever! The Yam Root Cream also really helped me with my barrier when I overdid it on retinol, love that it's a nourishing moisturiser that somehow gives a semi-matte satin-y finish? As an oily skinned girl I love it so much.

The yam root cleanser is the only cleanser I’ve ever emptied, and I’m almost through my second bottle. My skin got a lot drier after I started retinoids. I started with adapalene, and I never adjusted to it. Through the incredibly uncomfortable flaking and dryness, the yam root cleanser somehow felt… soothing and moisturizing. It was genuinely the only cleanser I could use for over 7 months until I eventually stopped using adapalene. Even after switching to a much gentler retinoid, it’s still a HG for winter. I have not encountered a cleanser, before or since, that can do what this one does.
My favorite product is definitely the Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel but I have so many that are tied for second. Can't wait to try the Yam Milk line and their new sunscreens, as I am working through my skincare stash and haven't made it to those yet.
I realised that even though it is such a popular brand I have nwver tried anything from them. I will keep your suggestions in mind for my next yesstyle order. The yam cleanser looka perfect for winter time. I d love to enter!
I love your ranking system! I'm so excited to hear you like the Onion line. I ordered a few things a couple of weeks ago because my skin has been so irritated. The sunstick is my favorite Isntree product I've tried. I always top my kids sunscreen with a sunstick on their nose & cheeks, they always ask for the Isntree one. I really can’t choose just one, but my morning routine contains only 3 things: Onion Newpair Essence Toner, onion Newpair B5 Ampoule, and Onion Newpair SPF 40 Sunscreen. This is the only trio I have found that soothes the Trentanoin sensitivity, does not pull under makeup, and will moisturize enough that I don’t flake by the end of the day. I can play with my evening routine, but these are ride-or-die in the morning.
Discovered and love the onion new pair toner thanks to your 3-part isntree video series. Not only hydrating but it actually makes my skin feel stronger. Have tried other toners since and they're just not the same.
I would love it if you could make a video on Korean skincare for rosacea prone skin as a lot of Korean products are not targeted for rosacea, my rosacea is type 2 which looks like acne. The only Korean skincare products that have worked for my rosacea is Benton aloe propolis gel and the goodbye redness centella gel. The COSRX pure fit cica serum and the Skin 1004 centella soothing gel. These products can be hard to get a hold of

My husband has very bad rosacea and we follow James Walsh recommendations, he reviews some Korean brands and has rosacea skin type. He strongly recommends Roundlab, Torriden and I find that the products he recommends really work on my husband. Good luck

Beta glucan really is a great ingredient. I feel like it’s been overshadowed by hyaluronic acid, even though I sometimes feel it’s an even better humectant 🤐
I have dehydrated combination skin & loooove the green tea cleanser! The jelly texture reminds me of the Fresh soy cleanser. It's perfect as a morning cleanser because it cleanses without stripping your skin. Also love the chestnut aha. It's watery texture is pleasant to use & has helped unclog a lot clogged pores. The mugwort mask is also a favourite. It's soothing & kind of comforting. I'm dying to try more products from Isntree & would love to win some of their goodies from Yesstyle ❤
My favourite Isntree product at the moment is the Onion Ampoule! I got intereste in the onion toner when you mentioned it in your chanel, but I don't really like very liquidy products... So when I found out there was the serum format of the onion line, I got it to try, and it is great! ❤

I received the onion newpair gel cream sample and I didn’t expect to love it. The next morning I woke up with soft, moisturised and plumpy skin and that’s when I became a big fan of this product. Now I just purchased the yam root vegan milk cleansers since you recommended it in your previews video.
I have a very dry, hyper-ractive, sensitive skin with mild rosacea. I bought the Yam Root Cleanser thanks to your review and oh my god, was it a game changer! I use it together with Oat Cleansing Balm from the Inkey list and it is such a great combination, especially during winter. My skin feels soft, calm and nourished after I’ve washed my face and that never used to happen before. I recommend this duo from the bottom of my heart, but ONLY if you are really really dry. Hello Alice! I'm obsessed with your videos! I have dry AND dehydrated skin. I'm 50 years old and just in the past few years have really ramped up my skincare game. I'm fair skinned, blue eyes and used to tan like I was meant to be Brazilian(love the dark skin color!) So I had years of sun damage and totally depleted collagen. I'm happy to say thanks to all your content and the addition of red light face mask, I don't look like I'm 50 ❤. I fell for the isntree hyaluronic watery sun gel and I love it! I was surprised by your commentary on the green tea toner tho - it's also one of my favs, but I use it because the green tea enhances the affects of red light therapy. I use a bunch of other toners, serums and potions for hydration, and simply only use the green tea toner to get my dose of green tea. I would love to hear if you have other recommendations tho that have green tea and work better for dry skin (I'm sure it's in one or more of your videos and I'll gladly rewatch any of them if you point me in the right direction! I allllmost went off about that topic in this video! That’s the reason I was buying it originally as well, but then I read the original research paper and realized…it’s on one person. As a researcher myself, we wouldn’t make a conclusion from that kind of pilot study, BUT the original premise does still stand: antioxidants are a good addition to an anti-aging routine. So i swapped green tea for coq10/artemisia/etc (lots of great antioxidant options!)

My holy grail product from insured is one that is soooo underrated and not talked about at all! It’s the water essence from their hyaluronic acid line and although it’s marketed as a hyaluronic acid product, it’s my number 1 calming essence/serum! It has a slightly milky texture that feels super nice and gives a nice glow too. And I have really struggled with irritation (mostly because of harsh acne treatments) and everything burned, but this product didn’t and felt super nice and refreshing!!
This was my year for K-beauty thanks to discovering YesStyle and Isntree is the brand I purchased the most (eye cream, chestnut bha toner, and onion sunscreen). The one that I have used every single day and love it texture is their TW-Real Eye Cream, I struggle with cake concealer in my under eye, but this cream is very nourishing, I do see softening of the fine lines and at night use it in the smile lines and around the mouth to moisturize before adapalene. It’s can be used by all skin types, but the added benefit for oily skin is that it helps with balancing sebum production! Meaning it won’t dry out dry skin further, but it may help oily skin types prevent excess oil production ☺️
I'd love for you to try the elemis Peptide4 Thousand Flower mask! I was reminded of it when you were talking about the mugwort mask. I just bought it for myself and its so gentle and hydrating! It also helps brighten up my complextion quite a bit. It reminds me a bit of the sulwhasoo overnight mask. (I also have dry/acne prone/sensitive skin)

Even though my skin is overall pretty dry, I really love the green tea toner in the summer. I find it very soothing. I just follow up with some more hydrating layers after. I've been cathing up on a lot of your videos lately and I just wanna say, thank you for giving me the idea of buying minis and sets !!! I’m have dry, post menopausal skin but the green tea toner is one of my favorite skincare products of any type and any brand. I do a few layers of toner/essences before my serums morning and night. A few years ago I wanted to incorporate some green tea for the antioxidant benefits in the morning but I didn’t want to change out my serums so I added the green tea toner between 2 layers of hydrating toners. I have never looked back. I avoid all fragrant ingredients but I love the green tea (non-fragrant) scent that comes from this toner. I tried a bottle of the Kaine tea toner because I worry that this is meant for “oily” skin. It was nice, fine, gave me the antioxidants but I really missed the isntree toner. Can’t imagine ever giving it up I recently got a bottle of the yam toner, very nice. Even though I have dry skin, I don’t like the cream toners if they feel like they might inhibit the absorption of my serums, but as you said, this doesn’t have that worry. I’m looking forward to trying more of the yam root line. I just looked at the rules again but I don’t do Instagram or TikTok. Oh well, I really do love both of these toners and will try more isntree products that match my skin needs

I absolutely adore the Innisfree sunstick! This marks my first experience with such a product, and I’m optimistic that it will provide ample protection for my delicate face during winter, especially while snowboarding. Having previously relied on creams and essence-type sunscreens, I encountered the irritating downside of eye discomfort when sweating. The sunstick’s application method seems like a game-changer, offering both convenience and the promise of avoiding eye discomfort. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a reliable and hassle-free sun protection solution. As for the non foaming cleansers, if you come across a japanese brand SANA try their face milk cleanser its the same and its waaayyyy cheaper. I was looking forward the purple sunscreen by cassandra bankson but u dont have it. I cant get my hand on it either.

Hi Alice. I agree with you on using the green tea toner from Isntree after my skin turns dry. When the skin type of combination to oily skin needs to regulate sebum production, green tea does help with the oil and water balance in the top layer of the skin. However, my favorite toner is yam root toner as it helps with my dry skin with replenishment. 😊 I have used the Isntree bifida serum and subsequently switching to Manyo Biome bifida serum to try out which is more beneficial for the skin. 😅
Absolutely, I think the yam root toner is so much more fitting for our skin type! After I finished this video, I confess I went right back to manyo haha. I’m glad to know a more budget-friendly (and more accessible as well) option exists though!
Oh gosh, Isntree is definitely one of my favorite brands! I’m obsessed with a chestnut toner. I have never had a toner with acids that is so gentle on my skin. It’s by far my favorite toner. I also like the green tea toner, but only because I use it with my MITO light panel. I’m one of the people who really likes the hyaluronic sunscreen although it’s true that it’s not really a stand out in the scheme of amazing K beauty sunscreen still I like it. I completely replaced my Paula's choice 2% BHA with Isntree's chestnut toner. My skin just likes it better. But my guilty pleasure is home-made sheet masks with the onion toner. That is undoubtedly my favourite.

i recently used the isntree green tea cleanser from my sister for a week and this thing was the the holy grail! my skin is incredibly prone to acne, anything might trigger a breakout for me. But using this cleanser for a week did not break me out. It's not drying, it removes all the oil without being harsh, and most importantly, it didn't cause me to break out. I stopped using it because my sister travelled and took the cleanser with her, i tried searching for the cleanser in my country and it wasn’t available anywhere. so it would be a very pleasant opportunity to enter this giveaway as hopefully i’ll get to use the cleanser again. As someone with incredibly oily and dehydrated skin, the Isntree Fresh Green Tea Toner is G.O.A.T! I put it on a spray bottle and spray multiple times. My skin absolutely eats it up. My skin doesn't feel tight and it's super bouncy. Thank you so much for recommending this in previous videos, even though you have drier skin. @@12wer3wer9 apologies for the late response. No, it does not. I also usually do my skincare before putting on my clothes in the morning, and am in a tank top. It's such a light mist and so small, that I doubt it would stain it.

I have SO many HGs from Isntree. The TW-Real Bifida Ampoule is my absolute HG, it saved my skin when I had a rogue reaction to manyo's bifida ampoule. Have repurchased so many times and will continue to do so probably forever! The Yam Root Cream also really helped me with my barrier when I overdid it on retinol, love that it's a nourishing moisturiser that somehow gives a semi-matte satin-y finish? As an oily skinned girl I love it so much.

The yam root cleanser is the only cleanser I’ve ever emptied, and I’m almost through my second bottle. My skin got a lot drier after I started retinoids. I started with adapalene, and I never adjusted to it. Through the incredibly uncomfortable flaking and dryness, the yam root cleanser somehow felt… soothing and moisturizing. It was genuinely the only cleanser I could use for over 7 months until I eventually stopped using adapalene. Even after switching to a much gentler retinoid, it’s still a HG for winter. I have not encountered a cleanser, before or since, that can do what this one does.
My favorite product is definitely the Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel but I have so many that are tied for second. Can't wait to try the Yam Milk line and their new sunscreens, as I am working through my skincare stash and haven't made it to those yet.

I really can’t choose just one, but my morning routine contains only 3 things: Onion Newpair Essence Toner, onion Newpair B5 Ampoule, and Onion Newpair SPF 40 Sunscreen. This is the only trio I have found that soothes the Trentanoin sensitivity, does not pull under makeup, and will moisturize enough that I don’t flake by the end of the day. I can play with my evening routine, but these are ride-or-die in the morning.
Discovered and love the onion new pair toner thanks to your 3-part isntree video series. Not only hydrating but it actually makes my skin feel stronger. Have tried other toners since and they're just not the same.
I would love it if you could make a video on Korean skincare for rosacea prone skin as a lot of Korean products are not targeted for rosacea, my rosacea is type 2 which looks like acne. The only Korean skincare products that have worked for my rosacea is Benton aloe propolis gel and the goodbye redness centella gel. The COSRX pure fit cica serum and the Skin 1004 centella soothing gel. These products can be hard to get a hold of

My husband has very bad rosacea and we follow James Walsh recommendations, he reviews some Korean brands and has rosacea skin type. He strongly recommends Roundlab, Torriden and I find that the products he recommends really work on my husband. Good luck

Beta glucan really is a great ingredient. I feel like it’s been overshadowed by hyaluronic acid, even though I sometimes feel it’s an even better humectant 🤐

I have dehydrated combination skin & loooove the green tea cleanser! The jelly texture reminds me of the Fresh soy cleanser. It's perfect as a morning cleanser because it cleanses without stripping your skin. Also love the chestnut aha. It's watery texture is pleasant to use & has helped unclog a lot clogged pores. The mugwort mask is also a favourite. It's soothing & kind of comforting.

My favourite Isntree product at the moment is the Onion Ampoule! I got intereste in the onion toner when you mentioned it in your chanel, but I don't really like very liquidy products... So when I found out there was the serum format of the onion line, I got it to try, and it is great! ❤

I received the onion newpair gel cream sample and I didn’t expect to love it. The next morning I woke up with soft, moisturised and plumpy skin and that’s when I became a big fan of this product. Now I just purchased the yam root vegan milk cleansers since you recommended it in your previews video.

Hello Alice! I'm obsessed with your videos! I have dry AND dehydrated skin. I'm 50 years old and just in the past few years have really ramped up my skincare game. I'm fair skinned, blue eyes and used to tan like I was meant to be Brazilian(love the dark skin color!) So I had years of sun damage and totally depleted collagen. I'm happy to say thanks to all your content and the addition of red light face mask, I don't look like I'm 50 ❤. I fell for the isntree hyaluronic watery sun gel and I love it! I was surprised by your commentary on the green tea toner tho - it's also one of my favs, but I use it because the green tea enhances the affects of red light therapy. I use a bunch of other toners, serums and potions for hydration, and simply only use the green tea toner to get my dose of green tea. I would love to hear if you have other recommendations tho that have green tea and work better for dry skin (I'm sure it's in one or more of your videos and I'll gladly rewatch any of them if you point me in the right direction! I allllmost went off about that topic in this video! That’s the reason I was buying it originally as well, but then I read the original research paper and realized…it’s on one person. As a researcher myself, we wouldn’t make a conclusion from that kind of pilot study, BUT the original premise does still stand: antioxidants are a good addition to an anti-aging routine.
So i swapped green tea for coq10/artemisia/etc (lots of great antioxidant options!)

My fav Isntree product atm is the Chestnut LHA Jelly Cleansing Oil :) Admittedly I just got the package so I can't really vouch for it in terms of results but I love the texture! I might end up getting the onion toner or even low-molecular HA toner just because of how cute the bottle with the round cap looks ngl x)

My holy grail product from insured is one that is soooo underrated and not talked about at all! It’s the water essence from their hyaluronic acid line and although it’s marketed as a hyaluronic acid product, it’s my number 1 calming essence/serum! It has a slightly milky texture that feels super nice and gives a nice glow too. And I have really struggled with irritation (mostly because of harsh acne treatments) and everything burned, but this product didn’t and felt super nice and refreshing!!
This was my year for K-beauty thanks to discovering YesStyle and Isntree is the brand I purchased the most (eye cream, chestnut bha toner, and onion sunscreen).
The one that I have used every single day and love it texture is their TW-Real Eye Cream, I struggle with cake concealer in my under eye, but this cream is very nourishing, I do see softening of the fine lines and at night use it in the smile lines and around the mouth to moisturize before adapalene.

It’s can be used by all skin types, but the added benefit for oily skin is that it helps with balancing sebum production! Meaning it won’t dry out dry skin further, but it may help oily skin types prevent excess oil production ☺️
I'd love for you to try the elemis Peptide4 Thousand Flower mask! I was reminded of it when you were talking about the mugwort mask. I just bought it for myself and its so gentle and hydrating! It also helps brighten up my complextion quite a bit. It reminds me a bit of the sulwhasoo overnight mask. (I also have dry/acne prone/sensitive skin)

Even though my skin is overall pretty dry, I really love the green tea toner in the summer. I find it very soothing. I just follow up with some more hydrating layers after. I've been cathing up on a lot of your videos lately and I just wanna say, thank you for giving me the idea of buying minis and sets !!! Somehow that never occured to me before 🤦♀️ And I am pretty hesitant to invest in new fullsize products since my skin is very reactive.

My favorite product is the onion gel cream! The texture is just soo nice for me. Though I'm also interested in trying the grean tea cleanser and the yam root toner! I've been eyeing the yam root line for a long time
I’m have dry, post menopausal skin but the green tea toner is one of my favorite skincare products of any type and any brand. I do a few layers of toner/essences before my serums morning and night. A few years ago I wanted to incorporate some green tea for the antioxidant benefits in the morning but I didn’t want to change out my serums so I added the green tea toner between 2 layers of hydrating toners. I have never looked back. I avoid all fragrant ingredients but I love the green tea (non-fragrant) scent that comes from this toner. I tried a bottle of the Kaine tea toner because I worry that this is meant for “oily” skin. It was nice, fine, gave me the antioxidants but I really missed the isntree toner. Can’t imagine ever giving it up
I recently got a bottle of the yam toner, very nice. Even though I have dry skin, I don’t like the cream toners if they feel like they might inhibit the absorption of my serums, but as you said, this doesn’t have that worry. I’m looking forward to trying more of the yam root line.

I absolutely adore the Innisfree sunstick! This marks my first experience with such a product, and I’m optimistic that it will provide ample protection for my delicate face during winter, especially while snowboarding. Having previously relied on creams and essence-type sunscreens, I encountered the irritating downside of eye discomfort when sweating. The sunstick’s application method seems like a game-changer, offering both convenience and the promise of avoiding eye discomfort. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a reliable and hassle-free sun protection solution. As for the non foaming cleansers, if you come across a japanese brand SANA try their face milk cleanser its the same and its waaayyyy cheaper. I was looking forward the purple sunscreen by cassandra bankson but u dont have it. I cant get my hand on it either.

love the yam root cleanser! definitely a 2023 fav from them... definitely think the yam root line is one of their best the onion line looks very intriguing as well but i'm trying to get over the mental barrier of the onion aspect of the products 😭 would love to enter!
I've only had testers, the Bifida Ampoule had IMMEDIATE brightening effects. A must buy for the summer.
You know I love love love this brand! Obsessed with the yam root toner currently- I feel like I don’t need a separate “barrier care” step after it! Big big fan of the HA Moist cream too, only line I didn’t see results from was the c-niacin line (my skin didn’t really like the cream for some reason?). What a lovely brand- cannot wait to open my onion ampoule too!!
Ah, I finished one of those c-niacin products and…you know, I’m not even sure which one it was 😅 I guess it’s better to have forgettable products than the kind I remember 5 years later as “truly tragic” 🤣
Hi Alice. I agree with you on using the green tea toner from Isntree after my skin turns dry. When the skin type of combination to oily skin needs to regulate sebum production, green tea does help with the oil and water balance in the top layer of the skin. However, my favorite toner is yam root toner as it helps with my dry skin with replenishment. 😊 I have used the Isntree bifida serum and subsequently switching to Manyo Biome bifida serum to try out which is more beneficial for the skin. 😅
Absolutely, I think the yam root toner is so much more fitting for our skin type! After I finished this video, I confess I went right back to manyo haha. I’m glad to know a more budget-friendly (and more accessible as well) option exists though!
Oh gosh, Isntree is definitely one of my favorite brands! I’m obsessed with a chestnut toner. I have never had a toner with acids that is so gentle on my skin. It’s by far my favorite toner. I also like the green tea toner, but only because I use it with my MITO light panel. I’m one of the people who really likes the hyaluronic sunscreen although it’s true that it’s not really a stand out in the scheme of amazing K beauty sunscreen still I like it. Now I have a couple other products to try.
