I am in the throes of menopause so my face does indeed sweat, but I'm still not looking for face antiperspirants. That feels like an extension of the "full body deodorant" marketing trying to convince us that our entire bodies are smelly and disgusting and we need to buy a bunch of products to solve this nonproblem.

I have been using BoJ's toner for 3 weeks and it has become an absolute holy grail for me! I have oily acne prone skin and the kaolin is genius I tell you, this is a product that hydrates, moisturizes and plumps my skin while also keeping it matte! Hi Alice. I like the mask from Beauty of Joseon as a supplement product for rice base skincare... The Isntree booster is something I will try since it is a lighter application than VT... Together with the ingredients list of Isntree booster, the panthenol and acne fighting additives are a very good choice for acne prone skin.... 😊 Take as much time to get back together, a death in the family needs a little more recovery back to the normal routine...

I’m in counselling (my brother died as well in November) because the grief was so overwhelming. Hello Alice, I hope Ara is better, but it is a long process of acceptance of accepting that our loved ones are not going to be with us as long as we would like. It happened to me with my partner and it was a quite traumatic process because it was the death of her father due to a serious accident. However, I understood that the best thing I could do was accompany my partner rather than give advice or consolation. And when she was very depressed I took her on my shoulders instead of sinking into sadness. And I asked her to accompany me to make cooking recipes, anything that could get her out of her depressive state. She thanks me to this day for helping her a lot in that process. I hope Ara gets better every day. She sends you my deep condolences. A giant hug from my corner of the world 🌷🙏 Besides, I would like to know your results with the Isntree product 😘

I JUST finished the BOJ cleansing balm and after I scooped out the last of the product and added a few drops of warm water into the empty product box and there was just so much satisfying milky texture of the balm and I had the funnest most nourishing cleanse of my life with it. So I advise you to do yourself a favor and do that when your finished with it 😅

I am not sensitive to any synthetic fragrances I have tried, but I get a severe itchy rash in reaction to rosemary oil. I would definitely consider it a fragrant ingredient!

Hello Alice! 😃So nice to see you is an understatement! ❤I am dealing with some very irritated skin - I used a sample of an eye product with Retinol - I think I am allergic, no I'm allergic. My skin is red, inflamed and hurts to touch underneath my eyes and cheek bones. So needless to say - I can't put anything on my skin without it hurting 😩 - the only product (in very small amounts) that I can tolerate is the Cicaplast Baume B5 from La Roche-Posay and the calming moisture Repair balm from Pyunkang Yul, Even these products are just tolerable - my skin is inflammed (horrible mess). I should have known better. I was frantically looking through your videos yesterday to find some help. The Beauty of Joseon mask looks really nice - want to try! So sorry for your loss, Alice - all the best to you and Ara. Roxy is a doll - dogs are good for the soul.❤ Have a lovely evening and I will always be here when it is right for you to make a video. 🌸💮🌸

My condolences and take as much time as is necessary (I was thinking it was weather related). Roxy is cute and yes, it's amazing how heavy a small animal can be. Don't know if you're interested but e.l.f. has a mineral lip SPF 25 gloss (coconut flavored). And of course I had to look up why caramel is in skincare (color) and the aluminum could be an astringent.
I have the mask and it is indeed amazing. It acts like a clay mask but not like a regular clay mask. It's like if it sucked up all the sebum and replaced it with moisture with calming effect. It's really nice. But the time I used it I always used my exfoliant products the day before so I can't say if the mask did this exfoliant function since my skin was already soft like baby butt. However, it is great but I won't repurchase since I like the feeling of a regular clay/mud mask especially for the summer months when it's hot and humid.
I’ve been so scared to try that VT reedle shot and I also LOVE isntrees onion line so maybeeeee I’ll try it out in a couple months when I’m positive my skin barrier has been restored 😭
What ingredient from the BOJ milky toner is the antiperspirant? I’m from the Philippines, and I have a super sweaty face. It’s difficult to put on makeup with our climate, unless the AC is on. And when I’m out, I get sweaty again and the makeup gets ruined. I look forward to your update on this in your empties. ☺️

I sweat a lot from my face . As a side affect of many medications , lots of people get hyperhidrosis . I guess BoJ Toner is holy grail for people taking antidepressants.

I found that the original Anua not too strong but excited to try a for sensitive one. I like that one and the Skin1004 Oil. The Dokdo oil was too intense for me.
I was able to try the anua cleansing oil before launch and was similarly confused about the rosemary oil, especially with the fragrance free marketing. I communicated that to them and we will see in the future what theyll do because im sure ur not the only one with that feedback. Just so you know though- really exciting products coming from them in the near future so keep an eye out! Curious about the isntree onion booster. I've been using the reedle shot as a quick 5 minute mask and rinsing off and that has seemed to work well for me- would be interested in trying that if its on sale lol! wishing you the best

I tried the ghost democracy cocoon cream and I felt it was really light weight? I don't know if they reformulated it but it doesn't feel rich to me. More for summer oily skin types
About the anti-perspirant: you know how some people have so sweaty hands they are constantly moist? same thing can happen with the face, scalp etc (it's called hyperhydrosis). it's really just genetics and though i think more formulas would be nice i dislike the idea of it being in a toner unless it has specific intructions since you really shouldn't get it near your eyes.... also if anybody feels the sweatiness speaks to them there are various types and strenght and formulas* of anti-perspira nt as well as medical treatments (its really not than uncommon so speak with a dermatologist if it bothers you). *i have seen for hands, feet, face but not scalp im really not sure what the deal with scalp and antiperspirant is but i have never heard or seen of a product for it. It does however confuse me a bit because having a sweaty face often comes along with a sweaty scalp and i feel like if it affected hairgrowth we we have discorvered it because you know most people use it in their pits and let's say max 50% shave their pits so (dunno why info about that is so hard to come by - but curious if anybody knows)....
Anua seem to not be selling to the UK on Yesstyle and stylevana, so now it's just amazon. They used to, but for some reason it now says not shipping here. I wonder what happened as I really liked Anua. I loved the BoJ red bean mask so really want to try that new rice and honey mask, it sounds divine. I also want to try that im from rice cleanser and the BoJ milk toner. Would love to see a video on Rice products, as there seems to be a lot of them in k-beauty
Interesting they had antiperspirant in a facial skin care product. Maybe this one is actually formulated for use in Asia. My face don't sweat when I'm in North America or Europe either, but when in Asia... My face sweats like crazy and ruins my makeup. If not for my sensitive skin, I would love to try it when traveling to Asia during the summer and see how well it works.
The beauty of Joseon toner sounds like it would work for me. I have scalp hyperhydrosis that runa down my face,live in a sub-tropical climate and have combo-oily skin.
Ah true. Yeah and most antiperspirants meant for the underarms could have ingredients that might not suit facial skin. Gotta give it to them, it’s a different idea!
have you seen the new reedle shot lip gloss? it seems very interesting because it used volufiline which could increase fat cells (somehow i’m not too sure about how) and uses their reedle spicules. i think it good combo because im pretty sure the problem with volufiline was penetration

Hello Alice! 😃So nice to see you is an understatement! ❤I am dealing with some very irritated skin - I used a sample of an eye product with Retinol - I think I am allergic, no I'm allergic. My skin is red, inflamed and hurts to touch underneath my eyes and cheek bones. So needless to say - I can't put anything on my skin without it hurting 😩 - the only product (in very small amounts) that I can tolerate is the Cicaplast Baume B5 from La Roche-Posay and the calming moisture Repair balm from Pyunkang Yul, Even these products are just tolerable - my skin is inflammed (horrible mess). I should have known better. I was frantically looking through your videos yesterday to find some help. The Beauty of Joseon mask looks really nice - want to try! So sorry for your loss, Alice - all the best to you and Ara. Roxy is a doll - dogs are good for the soul.❤ Have a lovely evening and I will always be here when it is right for you to make a video. 🌸💮🌸

Dogs really are so precious. My heart broke for her the first night we had her as she slept by the door waiting (💔). But she’s getting more comfortable with us now and even playing ball! 😁

My condolences and take as much time as is necessary (I was thinking it was weather related). Roxy is cute and yes, it's amazing how heavy a small animal can be. Don't know if you're interested but e.l.f. has a mineral lip SPF 25 gloss (coconut flavored). And of course I had to look up why caramel is in skincare (color) and the aluminum could be an astringent.

I have the mask and it is indeed amazing. It acts like a clay mask but not like a regular clay mask. It's like if it sucked up all the sebum and replaced it with moisture with calming effect. It's really nice. But the time I used it I always used my exfoliant products the day before so I can't say if the mask did this exfoliant function since my skin was already soft like baby butt. However, it is great but I won't repurchase since I like the feeling of a regular clay/mud mask especially for the summer months when it's hot and humid.
I’ve been so scared to try that VT reedle shot and I also LOVE isntrees onion line so maybeeeee I’ll try it out in a couple months when I’m positive my skin barrier has been restored 😭

What ingredient from the BOJ milky toner is the antiperspirant? I’m from the Philippines, and I have a super sweaty face. It’s difficult to put on makeup with our climate, unless the AC is on. And when I’m out, I get sweaty again and the makeup gets ruined. I look forward to your update on this in your empties. ☺️

7:47 there was a toner from Rose Inc when they launched that had clay in it, and I doubted it, but ended up absolutely loving it so much.
I sweat a lot from my face . As a side affect of many medications , lots of people get hyperhidrosis . I guess BoJ Toner is holy grail for people taking antidepressants.

@AliceintheRabbitHole I would watch Kelly Driscoll; she is the only one I know that's crazy about hydration/moisturization, texture, how much the toner "shoves water" deep into your skin, etc.

I found that the original Anua not too strong but excited to try a for sensitive one. I like that one and the Skin1004 Oil. The Dokdo oil was too intense for me.

I was able to try the anua cleansing oil before launch and was similarly confused about the rosemary oil, especially with the fragrance free marketing. I communicated that to them and we will see in the future what theyll do because im sure ur not the only one with that feedback. Just so you know though- really exciting products coming from them in the near future so keep an eye out! Curious about the isntree onion booster. I've been using the reedle shot as a quick 5 minute mask and rinsing off and that has seemed to work well for me- would be interested in trying that if its on sale lol! wishing you the best

I tried the ghost democracy cocoon cream and I felt it was really light weight? I don't know if they reformulated it but it doesn't feel rich to me. More for summer oily skin types

About the anti-perspirant: you know how some people have so sweaty hands they are constantly moist? same thing can happen with the face, scalp etc (it's called hyperhydrosis). it's really just genetics and though i think more formulas would be nice i dislike the idea of it being in a toner unless it has specific intructions since you really shouldn't get it near your eyes....
also if anybody feels the sweatiness speaks to them there are various types and strenght and formulas* of anti-perspira nt as well as medical treatments (its really not than uncommon so speak with a dermatologist if it bothers you).
*i have seen for hands, feet, face but not scalp im really not sure what the deal with scalp and antiperspirant is but i have never heard or seen of a product for it. It does however confuse me a bit because having a sweaty face often comes along with a sweaty scalp and i feel like if it affected hairgrowth we we have discorvered it because you know most people use it in their pits and let's say max 50% shave their pits so (dunno why info about that is so hard to come by - but curious if anybody knows)....
Anua seem to not be selling to the UK on Yesstyle and stylevana, so now it's just amazon. They used to, but for some reason it now says not shipping here. I wonder what happened as I really liked Anua. I loved the BoJ red bean mask so really want to try that new rice and honey mask, it sounds divine. Interesting they had antiperspirant in a facial skin care product. Maybe this one is actually formulated for use in Asia. My face don't sweat when I'm in North America or Europe either, but when in Asia... My face sweats like crazy and ruins my makeup. If not for my sensitive skin, I would love to try it when traveling to Asia during the summer and see how well it works.

Ah true. Yeah and most antiperspirants meant for the underarms could have ingredients that might not suit facial skin. Gotta give it to them, it’s a different idea!

have you seen the new reedle shot lip gloss? it seems very interesting because it used volufiline which could increase fat cells (somehow i’m not too sure about how) and uses their reedle spicules. i think it good combo because im pretty sure the problem with volufiline was penetration
