If you're going to keep this car long term, it was best to change the oil before you hit 1k miles. Reason being, you would remove a lot of the metal shavings from breaking in the new engine. Just a thought for a future vehicle

S45031XL is a direct cross reference for oil filter and local auto shops should carry it!
