Ok here is a REAL tip So the way i do it is start off with the 1st mine as many other people do,then i keep on upgrading my 1st mine to lvl 25 so it can generate more money so i can easily get enough to unlock my 2nd one,then i do the same with the second thirds and so on and when i have enough money then i just go and upgrade all my mines to 50 if not 100 so what really matters is upgrading ur mineshafts
