- We gave the Hasbro Joy for All Companion Pets to my mother in law and her room mate, living in a nursing home. Look how much they adore them. Seeing both the grannies kissing their pets just moved my heart & put tears in my eyes. I wish I had an elder to gift one of these to but everyone is already passed.

I tell myself my dearest dad is in a better place, then going through the ridiculous health protocol of can't visit him during isolation in hospital even I was willing to answer for my risk, ,leaving him alone in anxiety
Part of me wishes I knew the availability of these toys earlier. My dad loved animals, yet when I knew a pet that needed his attention would be helpful to "distract" him from his dementia, both mom and him strongly objected,which I knew it was the practical fear of too much work.
I thank dad as his passing on alerted me many lessons, and I can't help living on on his behalf

I just got one for my elderly aunt, and she was over joyed with it, she hasn't got dementia or anything, she lives on her own but cannot have a pet as her health is not good, so the cat was a great substitute for a real one, she loves it.
My sister is schizoaffective, my mom now takes care of her dog and I own her cat. She's still angry that we took them from her. So this would be perfect! She's so lonely and needs this.

I’m a caregiver, I care very much about and do for my clients when others don’t see the need to, I cried to see their reaction to these interactive pets. This made me buy one for my clients

When my nephews big pooper dog breaks the back door of our 1 story knocking the 2 budgee cage to the floor then continues to the living room to pee in my corn plant. 3 days ago my budgee corn-rutt and majesty were enjoying the fogger I designed for thier homemade barrel last month to give them air and yogurt dip hit the side of the barrel facing the hallway and majesty died on contact and the vet would not let me bring in corn rut for another asthma therapy and he died after dipper knocked thier cage down this time, I told my nephew over an over he needs a leache to hold yogerntdip but that dog is to big. This new animal im gonna bet can live longer here 1 cuz I made a mistake to put corn majesty and silk in the hallway and 2 when the pooper p p doggy breaks my door down he runs in and will hit the cage too hard. That was enough that my 2 budgers can fly in heaven. My new animal will be this bran new cat that they are selling.

Oh my goodness I wish they had this kind of thing when I was in the Air Force and living in the dorms! I grew up with cats, and I hated not being able to have one when I was and the Air Force because I lived in the dorms the whole time. I had a couple of stuffed animals though, and I remember one time my supervisor came knocking on my door because someone said they saw a cat hairs or something and all I had were the stuffed cat and whatever else I had on my bed by my pillow. If they had these things, believe you me I would have had one!

EDIT: Imagine if it also warmed up to be the real temperature of a cat! I remember when my kitty was alive his warmth and softness kept me sane on bad days

seeing the reaction of this sweet woman to this "animals" is sooo heartwarming! I mean, they know that this are toys, but the monet they have these on they labs, they are no toys anymore, but lifing creatures!
When Corona is over, I plan to visit a Old people's home nearby with one of my handpuppets to bring a bit of you to the people. You can du so much for them with so little effort!

I want one for my grandma. She has dementia and our dog died at the vet and she was at home. She’s always calling for him mad we hope that this will help her.
My best fur friend also passed recently (and it wasn't long after his sisters passing too...) I tried pet bereavement counselling, it really helped

Hi I got one as well and my landlord thought I had a real cat and told me to give it away because I was not aloud to have a cat there. When he had closer look at it he realise it was a toy cat (has to one) and said that I can keep it.
your landlord should have zero say what you have in your own home, as long as you are paying rent its your home.. what next? you can have your child in their too?

My wife sent and paid for one of these, today we received a little solid model of a pup, no working parts or anything, looks more like a cheap plastic toy covered in make believe fur. Another con, that cannot be traced.
