I've noticed that whenever I see other ghost hunting vids the people starting going nuts and getting scared as soon as the spirit answers their question but with Celina when she was talking to the spirit she was so calm and genuinely seemed to care and want to chat to this spirit and I love it x
I live near this asylum and I am thrilled that you visited! My grandmother worked there for years as a nurse and when they shut it down I remember her being so thankful to have finished out her time there and made it out alive. I visit the place every year.

The Estes Method is and always will be one of my favorite ghost hunting methods. It's so cool to watch and listen to, and chilling when responses make sense, especially when they come super quick after the question.

40:10 - Here's my thoughts: If they're saying basement, bail + diablo, I sort of instantly thought of them talking about either, they want Kris and Celina to bail the devil out of the basement OR they are warning them that the devil HAS been bailed out of the basement. Another little note from the start of the talk with the two boys, they mentioned cross device, what if they meant a crucifix?
I was thinking the device translated bail instead of the intended "baal" ...
intuitively i feel like they were warning them there was devils in the basement, tina indeed was kris grandmother her ancestor warning kris and celina not to go any further with exploring this place since it had devilish attachments

it's so humbling seeing two female paranormal investigators. I've never seen another channel do something like this. Being empathetic makes the experience so much better. Kris and Celina dont just rely on capturing entities on camera but they use other methods to communicate. I love this series!

Funny thing is that the lot my home is on is haunted, the ghost being a friendly one, poked me multiple times and turned up the brightness and volume of my computer while watching this, safe to say he was greatly enjoying this video 😂

This place is amazing. I did two haunted tours there, the first almost 15 years ago. They’ve done a lot of renovations to make it look period accurate. It used to look so dilapidated with holes in the ceilings, peeling paint, and water damage. It’s amazing that they’ve updated it so much. Our tour guide to,d us the local high school used to have their prom in their reception hall in like the 80s and 90s.

This is, hands down, the BEST ghost investigation that I've ever seen!! I started watching ghost shows in 2010. I wasn't a fan for long because of the added music and noises. It just seemed so fake. But this....when Kris said Celina, I was yelling at the tv!! Most awesome, girls!
everything was going to together so quickly like the estes method then the randy and rabbit thing like it just all clicks after they finish if you really think about and you just dont watch the video you study it you figure out so much if you really pay attention and that's why i love these types of videos and also the spirits were very consistent with answering their questions and it was interesting af. 34:04 in the video has already gone through what the two boys say about "rabbit," "randy," "pie," "moat," etc. there was a song written on Oct. 11, 1939, by Ralph (Randy) Butler and fellow composer Noel Gray. The song contains lyrics about a rabbit pie, and the rabbit is outrunning the farmer's weapon. That's what the boys were referring to in this part because it was also used as a comfort song for soldiers in WWII.

Yknow how celina can feel things from just walking into a room?
She needs to go to a new haunted place, but do the tour blindfolded and silent first. She can tell us what she feels entering each room, maybe even have the tour guide give small parts of the story to help her “see” more clearly. And afterwards, the tour guide can reveal the full story, and we can see how these spiritual connections really work ❤

Usually, when people do ghost hunts in my state, I can’t watch it because they make fun of us, the comments are LITTERED with derogatory comments about us, and it just makes me sad. I’m glad to hear you sharing the ridiculous reasons why people were in asylums back then. In the 50’s/60’s my grandma ended up in one due to her depression and anxiety, they got her hooked on horse tranquilizers. Luckily she made it out, though she did end up with horrible addictions afterwards. Asylums were… intense.
It's a miracle she made it out. In Ireland we had women and children homes run by the church... Very few survived them... My grandmother only managed to avoid them because she was a Protestant... 😞

I’m halfway through and this is amazing. I’ve gotten chill bumps so many times. What I like about y’all’s investigations is how respectful y’all are. As opposed to other paranormal shows/investigations I’ve seen. I can’t imagine walking into a place like that where true trauma and torture happened and be yelled at in like a “dance monkey” type of way. Thank you for always always always being respectful to the people who are still there.

so, fun fact, those words used to have very different definitions than they do today. I actually have a medical encyclopedia from 1908 which is very neat to look through. Melancholy was a term that referred to what we would now consider severe depression. Acute Mania would be a Bipolar crisis, in fact even today we use the term "Manic" which comes from that terminology.
When Taylor and Kris were having a full on battle with each other and Celina had no idea what was going was the funniest part of the whole video. And, also when Kris was under and said craaazzyy about Celina had me cracking up too

I may be set up for a dangerous situation... But I associate shadow people with protection. I grew up in a VERY dangerous environment, but anytime things got particularly dangerous for me, my mom's drugged up boyfriends would suddenly see a shadow person looming over them at night. They would panic and leave. Which meant I was safe for at least a few weeks. They all described him the same: an intimidatingly tall shadow man, with a bowl hat and needle sharp fingers. The area around him was always uncomfortablely hot.
Does he sound scary? Yes... But I always associated shadow people and hot spots with safety. I've never seen the shadow man, but he kept me safe for years and I thank him.

Interesting. The only experience I have with something shadow like was when I was much younger. Like maybe 4 or 5 since it was before we moved and I started kindergarten.
The shadow creature had the shape of a cat. And it was across from me. Why do I remember this? Because it appeared after I came outside to check on the cat we had at the time.
I went inside to get my panda plushie, came back, found the cat dead on the back porch thing, looked around because I distinctly remember claw marks, and then saw the shadow in the shape of a cat. It could be what "really" happened but I didn't know about it until I dreamed about it.
For clarification, I don't see things when I'm awake. If I see ANYTHING, it's tied to my dreams. And I honestly didn't remember that incident until I was in 3rd grade (when I had the dream). I asked my parents about the death of the cat but they didn't have much to say since they weren't there when the cat died and they don't remember much of what happened that day other than that they buried the cat.
My dreams are usually telling me something about myself. And if it's not, I worry because that means that it's about something else 😅
Edit: For example, I once had a dream involving stairs and elevators. Which makes sense because I'm scared of heights.
Recently (as in on January 14, 2024) I dreamed about two babies. A little boy about 1 year old who really wanted to talk to me and a little girl who was just sleeping peacefully.
I know that it can't be tied to me in the obvious way since I'm not pregnant, I don't plan on getting pregnant anytime soon, and I don't know anyone who would like to be pregnant.
It might be saying something about my spirit but idk.

I think when they asked Emily if she could leave the room, she didn't understand it as a question but more as they were telling her to leave, because after they asked that, you can hear footsteps kinda, and she also stopped answering them after that question 48:36

I didn't hear footsteps, but I did feel that the spirit left because she was asked if she can leave the room.
I was talking to my tv like "She's gone. You did ask if she can leave the room. Should've asked if she was able to leave the room or does she ever leave the room." 😄

I went to the asylum with my sisters class summer 2023... Theres a room on the opposite side of Lily's room a few doors to the right of hers where I saw a huge shadow figure just watching us all go by. I brushed it off as I was imagining it because I knew the asylum was haunted but I couldn't shake the feeling of the figure following us around. My sister, when we got on the third floor she felt so nauseous she needed to stop walking for a few minutes. I got a book from there called "Lunatic" and I highly recommend reading it. I also loved the history of the heads outside the asylum and just the asylum in general!

Maybe their GRANDMOTHER named TINA was supposed to BAIL them out, but she died in the BATHTUB after she was ATTACKED. Also, they could be conforming by saying “COPY”that their bodies are in the BASEMENT and they felt trapped in a MOAT of TREES that surrounded the property and it was always WINDY outside. Maybe they prayed to GOD before unaliving themselves and that DIABLO will communicate with them over a DEVICE or something like that
