Good morning Jennifer Terri, I am unvaccinated and I made it to the Philippines. I am Australian and had the pre flight supervised rapid antigen test done at Terry White Chemmart. You do the test yourself, which is hard when it's the nasal test. I arrived in Manila on the 4th of November 2022, I did my e-arrive card before I left Australia. On the last page it asks if you have a result of your test, you attach it to the form as long as it is negative. I passed through immigration easily, they just scanned the form i.e E-arrival card. No drama at all. Hope this helps people.

Hi Lee, please let us know if businesses like hotels, malls and restaraunts are still following vax mandate for entry. Also with the rat test you did, was it the one the chemist gave you or you bought it yourself? I would prefer doing the test where you spit into it.

@@izzfran Hi, I have been allowed everywhere so far. Been insides malls, staying at my hotel which only asks you to wear a mask inside, restaurants have been no issue. Have not been asked to show any Vax proof yet. The rat test was purchased at the chemist which was the nasal one, so they can sign off on your certificate which has your whole name, passport number, type of rat test, brand and result. The chemist name, their ID no and signature.

The vaccinated can still get and yes still give virus so the thought of keeping it out of country is a joke just plain discrimination and strong arming the unvaccinated to comply!! And I agree complying with the mask wearing will not end . I will still wait till I’m truly welcome to enter

Hi Jennifer, great channel and it’s helped me a lot. I’m from the UK and been in the Philippines over a week now. The only thing that frustrates me is the mask wearing. Despite it being voluntary, on the outside and inside, (with some exceptions) I found everybody is still wearing them. I checked with SM mall information desk when in the store, and they confirmed that masks are voluntary, so all well and good, but I then was stopped by the guard on two occasions, once when entering H&M and then a sports shop and was told to mask up. When I queried it they just said “not in this shop.” This is extremely confusing and disconcerting. The family I’m with still wear them and always being asked to wear a mask. I’m concerned that the Filipino people, being so compliant, would never break free from mask wearing as it is now so much in their culture. I hope they do start to remove them and find the courage not to wear them. That then would be a massive step back to normality for everyone concerned.

Not sure where the "NOV 4th" implementation date is coming from. The actual approval was signed on 28 Oct by BBM's Executive Secretary, and unless otherwise stated in other correspondence, should be taken literally as the effective date. Coordination with outlying agencies has always been the problem.

I left the US last Friday, unvaccinated, I have my e-arrival card saved on my phone. When I arrived in Clark, it was already Sunday, Nov 27. I had my anti gen test at the airport, got the result in less than 15 minutes then I was done! Home at last.

Why people just ask instead of listen first carefully 🤔

@@selbstsein967 I agree. I’ve been noticing people asking the same questions over and over again when Jennifer has already explained it. It will help her not to have to explain it over and over again if people listen well before asking their questions. she has done an awesome job in explaining it in full detail . Her explanation is easy to understand.

I think for children under 15 they don't require antigen test. Just follow the quarantine protocol of their parent if parent gets positive test result.

While OHP was inconvenient, it was far from impossible to complete. I live in Manila and had to complete it on multiple occasions. It was not a big deal. If people can’t be troubled to take 10 minutes to complete the new requirement they probably don’t want to come to the Philippines too badly. Stop over hyping this issue.
