I just now realized it's supposed to look like a massive disconnected beehive. I sorta saw the hexagon patterns, but it only juat now registered what it was.
Even the only enemies present in this level are buzzbombers.

since this isn't common knowlege:
Upon starting a new save from this DLC.
Spin dash is automatically unlocked for sonic within this DLC only.
in fact, the new level designs for the DLC, both in Ouranos and Cyberspace actually ENCOURAGES Spin Dash.
you will still need to unlock it for use in the base game, and non-story gameplay.

why is your boost like it's the max level one from the overworld? mine doesn't look like that even though I'm leveled up

You have to finish the cyberspace challenge to get that

once you finish the "All islands Cyberspace challenge" with S or A rank
the option to use Power Boost in Cyberspace can be toggled in the options.
Do note that your time will be marked with a "power boost" flag if you use this in arcade or in the Cyberspace challenge mode.
