If you s-rank the all islands cyberspace challenge you unlock a toggle-able permanent power boost that makes you go about 30% faster if I recall correctly

seriously why make a whole system to replace the boost only to use it in a single dlc level. wtf?
Thankfully you don't have to do any of the DLC stages to get to the final boss.
