@Abdul Rahman Ariff RizaI think, he already spoke before once or twice! I remember that you can do jobs in the normal route, and when doing the Pizza delivery job, there's someone yelling "PIZZA DELIVERY", which is probably Sunny since there are no other people around.
1:22 The way they aproach Sunny looks kind of similar to how the dream version of his friends aproach Omori when entering the dream world. Aubrey even asked if he's okay.
oo this is really interesting but i prefer the final result bc its more dramatic lol, and it finally shows sunny smiling, which he doesnt even have the happy emotion during battle
wich battle? Sunny never battled with emotions. Emotions are exclusive from headspace (wich is omori, who can smile in maniac, static and happy). The only emotion of real world is ''afraid'' i think
It really hammers to the point home when after all this time of Sunny being a silent protagonist, seeing his face pop up and even just the "I" immediately gives an impact to the player. The boy went to a lot,and now he finally wanted to open up and live a normal life. Shame it wasn't used, but what we go was good as is.
@@jeck0_0. I think they're talking about how he said 'I' at the end of all that ....................................................................................................................
I can see why they went with the one that they did. The final one is a lot more powerful. Also, why are people saying that sunny actually said something after 4 years? He said, "I have to tell you something." In the final.
Yea idk why people are saying that too. We still get to see em say words so I felt nothing was lost I guess reading the words he said on a blank screen instead of kinda "seeing" him say them in an animated cutscene is what's different for people?
it feels more effective when we see it in a dialogue box with his face as we don’t normally see that in game, but we’re slightly used to the animation dialogue since we get that when transitioning in/out of white space (although i know those cutscenes were likely basil speaking)
Honestly is it weird I wish they put that in? It doesn't appear to add much at first glance, but I shows how no matter how much encouragement and built up courage you have, talking about something traumatic is extremely hard and overwhelming. I really like the idea of Sunny falling to his knees like that and the reactions from the group, it makes it even more emotional than before (which is really hard to do for such a bittersweet end/cliffhanger and story in my opinion)
Sunny: So you guys remember Mari? Yeah, *I killed her.* _a thunderstorm suddenly starts_ Hero: You *_WHAT_* Sunny: Yes! I did it like this! _throws himself down the hospital stairs_
Man, I know the final is more dramatic and suspenseful, but it left me feeling so WANTING. This scratches the itch for me so much more. Not enough to be happy with it, mind you, but seeing everyone concerned for Sunny and actually talk to him instead of turning towards him like he's interrupting a speech just hits harder for me. Also, Sunny's portrait appearing like that feels so good.
I adore how fast the three of them run to sunny when he falls. Like. Theres the sudden shock and differing reaction times to seeing him fall but upon realising what happened, just rushing right to him
One thing I was wondering about is the fact that Sunny's dialogue portrait shows none of his bandages at all, considering the scene it took place and all. But then again, perhaps this was intended to be a placeholder only for the final result. Nevertheless, it would really surprise me if I ever see this on the game for obvious reason-
I actually wouldn't mind this as another alternative hospital ending. Seeing our main character sunny/omori, speak for the first time through out the entire game is very impact full.
This is really interesting, although I think the game probably works better without it. Same thing with the pictures being captioned for The Truth. Sometimes, less is more when it comes to these kinds of emotional moments.
It adds some context but at the same time it breaks the flow of things, it could have stayed or gone but I'm glad that the devs didn't spend too much time adding a single portrait for this moment it would have been nice but we got what we got and we should be happy about it
Yeah, it definitely seems like a case of "This is a really cool thing to do, but does it break the flow of the ending?" Going straight from the Final Duet to the "I have to tell you something" cutscene just hits harder I feel.

My guess would be because it sucks some of the tension out Having other characters talk before the "I have to tell you something" doesn't hit as hard as it does in the final. In the end it was prolly a case of "This would be cool to do, but is it robbing the scene of all that it could be?"

@@thegodofbo9812 To be fair, I don't think it's true that you have no hints on their reactions at all. The game has spent hours before this scene constantly dropping things like HERO saying "This time we'll be there for each other." and KEL saying "Friends should be there for each other." "We'll always be best friends." and AUBREY also saying similar things and feeling regretful for closing herself off and so on - both the actual characters in FARAWAY, and the ones in SUNNY's imagination during the final stretch of the game. I'm sure they did it the way they did because they wanted to keep it ambiguous and dramatic, but at the same time the game does a LOT to make your mind tip toward "Yes, they'll forgive him, even if it might take them some time."
I kinda wish they merged this with the final product. Sunny is obviously with the bandages, but it transitioning into a more high detail image of the gang would have worked amazing with each other

depending on the way you play the game, i believe sunny speaks prior to this if you take a part-time job where you have to deliver pizza to houses around the neighborhood, sunny (or so i believe) actually shouts “PIZZA DELIVERY!” when going up to houses
the way you know what he's going to say, but you get a chance to see him at least say one word really is amazing. he's silent throughout, having him speak for the most tense and probably anticipated part is super clever. i can see why they didn't use it though, the other ones are pretty good
I want this to be an official ending, I WANT THIS ENDING. I almost feel like it’s more meaningful than any of the other endings, he finally spoke, after so many years, the entire game, he hasn’t said a word. The fact that he goes, “I have to tell you something” and you finally see his face in the dialogue square has the same or even stronger effect of “everything is gonna get better now”. While in the good ending we have, they just overcome it, but they don’t free the pain if you know what I mean. I would’ve loved to have this ending is what I’m saying
i do feel like the one we got is kind of emotionless, but pair it with the duet and the music that plays during the cutscene and it feels so much more emotional than it actually is. would be nice to see sunny break apart in the cutscene though, it would feel so much more emotional.
@@Rene_Edens sunny can speak just fine lol, just look at the pizza delivery job. he's not afraid of yelling "PIZZA DELIVERY" at the top of his lungs. This definitely does have more impact than the pizza delivery job tho

I would’ve loved to have this ending is what I’m saying
i do feel like the one we got is kind of emotionless, but pair it with the duet and the music that plays during the cutscene and it feels so much more emotional than it actually is.
would be nice to see sunny break apart in the cutscene though, it would feel so much more emotional.
....b-but he did say "PIZZA DELIVERY!!!"
@@linayikytzunii1558 yeah he did
In the final product Sunny still says “I have to tell you something”. Did you not get the true ending??
@@DAVIOtheGAMER he does???? Although I haven’t got the ending myself I’ve watched clips but he doesn’t say anything, does he? Am I wrong???
I really REALLY want this boy to be happy. I feel so so sad for him, the oh so horrible days he had, as well as Basil, I want them to be happy...
whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat
hero when
I see this account everywhere lol, from making little Omori characters to comment sections. Basil the Flowerboy is an enigma
Sunny spoke 0.0
@@Rene_Edens sunny can speak just fine lol, just look at the pizza delivery job. he's not afraid of yelling "PIZZA DELIVERY" at the top of his lungs. This definitely does have more impact than the pizza delivery job tho
They look so worried about him :( this gives me hope that they forgave him and Basil
sunny said a really motivation speech in that cutscene im proud of him
"clean tiles" is better than "panzerlied"
sure, you can call Romel to prove me wrong, but I'm right
This version is made it even more harder to believed they will not forgive him.
i like how child sunny’s only portrait shows instead of present sunny
"Say Something"
Sunny: ..................................................................................................................................................................................................................................I
Plot twist: sunny was speaking in morse code
omg sunny spoke his first words! Kel get the camera!!
When Sunny said "..........", I felt that!
Edit: Bruh, someone thought of this joke before me.
Aubrey: Say something:
Sunny:........ I......

Am the storm that is approaching
"You shouldn't be moving around like that, you might *reopen"*
Geez Hero-
I was curious why in the final result no one seemed to comment on Sunny walking around. Cool to see that happen!
While reading the dialogue, in my head I read Sunny's "...." as microwave noises
... If this was in the game, I'D BE CRYING. As some comments here, I felt that "I", and proceeded by the "I have to tell you something" was like... ... ... ... AAAHHHH
“………………………………………………………………”
-sunny
- 3 days of literally not saying one word
- "say something.."
"Say something!" "ok MARI... uh oh..." *Basils eyes fucking dart open*
Sunny's first words after years"............................................"
man they should’ve kept this
This is so interesting to watch and imagine that this might've actually happened. Satisfying to see even a little bit about the ending that might be canon
"Say Something!"
Sunny: *Somethingsoundeffect
I really like it, but I do have to say it pulls some tension out as opposed to the final ending
Also the "I have to tell you something" fills the role of Sunny talking, but it would have been cool to see him talk in game at some point
i want to forget i played this game only for me to play it again with the twists and surprises...
you know despite omori looking worse i can't help but notice all the friends ALL OF THEM were by basil.
"say something!"
*"something."*
*"you called?"*
i wish they added that one in, it would be very impactful in my opinion

At this moment you realized something was wrong with that sentence
That, "................................................I..." really hits different bro.
