Airbus Ha! I read the original comment to fast and thought that they were asking where to get the actual A350. And I thought "gee how handy that Airbus lets you buy an aircraft online!" :D Could you use PayPal for a transaction that large?

As an Aeronautical Engineering student ,I am not only proud but also amazed how far man has come to be able to put together such a "sweet" machine. Having said that,no disrespect to Boeing but it looks like Airbus are taking their time ,no rush to meet airline orders deadlines and no taking short cuts. Engineering is beautiful :)
I wouldn't call what Boeing is doing taking shortcuts, but the result of being bleeding-edge. As impressive as the A350 is, it is not as advanced in construction as the 787. In fact, it's a stopgap program designed to respond to the 787 without engineering an entirely new aircraft (which Airbus also considered). It could be argued that it's actually the Airbus approach (bad pun there) that is the "shortcut" to market. That's not a value judgement or a slam against Airbus, just a comment on a business decision they made to have a viable entrant to compete with something completely new from Boeing. Airbus may well prove to have the better strategy, only time will tell.
@@walterverbeeck6929 - My comment was directed at the A350/787 comparison, not the 737 Max. It is my position that the delays and cost overruns of the 787 program (being more bleeding edge than the A350) contributed to the 737 Max problems as Boeing did not want to commit to another clean sheet design so soon.
Brilliant. Next up: a formation flight of all types currently in production or in flight testing: A319, A320, A320neo, A321, A330, A340, A350, A380. Or so we can hope.
This is an excellent video showcasing the Airbus A350 in a flight formation. The video production is amazing and it showcases the airplane brilliantly.
Quickly bacame my second favorite Aircraft the moment I flew it. Such an elegant, but suave looking plane. With absolutely awesome engines to match! This was one of my favorite videos! Well done Airbus!
Wow! Simply breathtaking! There are no words to describe how beautiful this was... It's seriously one of the most epic videos I've ever seen...and this plane..gorgeous👌 I think this is my new favorite plane^^
This absolutely fills my heart with delight. While I understand the physics, powered flight will always be magical. Doing these maneuvers with humongous commercial aircraft is pretty sweet.
Okay, I don't get all wet in the pants when I'm watching aircraft do what they're designed to do (I just like being IN them), but holy crap..... this was impressive and very thrilling to watch. For someone who's made aircraft and flying their life, this must have been a moment of a lifetime, for every single one of those involved.Kudos.
Very cool commercial. Awesome planning sessions, too. It's great to see a group of professionals from different backgrounds get together and execute a well thought-out plan.
They should've let Van Damme make a split between two plane wings in order to make me believe this really happened. ;-P The french accent actually reminds me of that 30Hz flapping lid "glasses" which make you see 3D on screens.
Extremely fascinating. Love it. Been in aviation for about 34 years...sincerely appreciate these efforts. congratulations to SHOW CASE Airbus like this.
Can't beat a bit of flair and imagination. Sort of what Airbus does well. Well done airbus and all you test pilots that was one hell of a test schedule and you did it right. 5 test aircraft now THAT is some commitment.
The last Goffena Yeah, boeing makes airliners, jet fighters, a ton of unique planes, you name it. What does airbus make? Airliners......Airliners......did I mention airliners?
Rulingmoss55 Airbus pretty much made Concorde, makes the eurofighter, helicopters space aircraft, military support aircraft, drones, satellites. They're making Ariane 6 and they're developing a spaceplanes. Ever heared of Airbus Defence and space?
Cool, but not "dangerous"....B17's, B-24's, Lancaster bombers from WW2 flew this close and closer, WITHOUT the aid of computers, fly by wire, and aerodynamic flight profiles.
Those planes were also much smaller, much lighter, much slower, and much cheaper. The A350 carries more weight than what those two planes weigh combined.
Flying is inherently dangerous by itself. I wouldn't say they "risked $1.5 billion," but this sort of formation flying is certainly not a normal, comfortable, everyday situation. I particularly like that they showed how much planning and coordination goes into something like this.
Amazing, takes my breath away, and the soundtrack fits perfectly! Someone made a comment that his life feels worthless after seeing this video, made me smile, I feel the same. Too late. Maybe my next life?
Beautiful aircraft, stunning formations. I wish I could be there in the planes just to watch those massive machines dancing around each other in the sky.
definitely a beautiful sight to see even one of those gigantic tanks flying, let alone 5 together. reminds me of the gigantic B2 formations back in the day...
so awesome and wonderfully beautiful... the skies is the stage alike how an orchestra performs at their place. What we are seeing here demands a lot of background precision works by many different groups of peoples, just alike how a performing orchestra is... simply terrific !
