  • I was too late to report this driver as I was busy at work at the time, so he got off completely scott-free. Interestingly, TfL have recently changed their policies on what offences will result in a green badge being revoked. It takes at least 12 points, or two mobile phone convictions, to be considered for driver licence disqualification. TfL will, however, revoke a green badge or PHV licence for a single mobile phone conviction. I hope this taxi driver doesn't use his phone any more. I also hope that this incident gave him a big shock. The police officers didn't seem very sympathetic to him, and it's clear to me that they considered him the problem as they were quite happy to leave me standing quietly whilst all their effort and attention was focused on him. I really disliked the immense entitlement and bad behaviour from this cabbie - his misbehaviour and abuse caused it to be difficult for me to edit this video and revisit it, which is why I left it so long before uploading. I'm still flabbergasted that he thought it was a good idea to call 999 in an attempt to stop me reporting him and avoiding prosecution. Also his cab has a dent in the rear, and I thought that cabbies weren't allowed to ply for hire with such?
Oh, and soz I didn't blur you, Mr Jogger and Mr Police Officer. I figured your stories were just too important a part of what happened.

The police should have officers riding around on bicycles in plain clothes, and no markings on their bikes, as motorists wont pay much attention to them and they can catch them red handed, more so in large cities with traffic jams, a lot of people will check their emails, text messages, or WhatsApp, twitter, which is of course against the law, keep up the great work Mikey your saving life's.

One point I would make, Mikey, it is not wise to cycle in flip flops - if for any reason you are hit by a motorised vehicle, the skin on your feet is likely to be flayed off. Better to wear enclosed footwear. Naturally, this is an advisory from a man who has seen entirely too many cyclist-related incidents in my A & E Dept. Stay safe & well, Sir.

Indeed. He threw multiple toddler tantrums, but then he finally filled his nappy.
The most telling aspects of his behaviour were the ease with which he agreed with the facts that he’d committed the offence, but seemed to believe that the act of catching him was somehow worse, and when at 19:55 he described himself as “a grown man” (debatable) then started crying and ran like a toddler to the police!
I’ve rarely seen such nonsense, and
I sincerely hope the pathetic little immature protothug reads this, and maybe reflects on his attitude to life. Truly appalling.

That is sadly the mentality of so many drivers.
Cocooned in their 'safe' metal boxes, airbags for when they really mess up, and not a care in the world about any other road user.
These people are the problem. Not those that catch them breaking the law.
And the petty antics to try and distract. Mini Trump, Johnson, Farages the lot of them.

Look, why didn't you just say disfrickengusting? Not only did you get the s in there twice but you misspelled the last part of the word. If we remove the fricken, you said disscusting. And you did the same thing with hilarious. You spelled it hillarious with 2 l's.
This may not seem like a big deal to you but two things will happen. 1: I'm gonna send this to the police. 2: This will go on RUclips.
