If I’m the estate management of the industrial park I’d be severely embarrassed by the security guard here. There’s no harm or threat from the photographers on these videos. Indeed as potential customer of these businesses I take a dim view of them interfering with the photographer’s human rights.
You are right to a point. However, due to sensitive nature of some of these businesses, they are not very enthusiastic about being recorded. If an auditor came to my business, I would do my best to help them. It gets them out of my hair quicker, and causes less disruption to everyone. I have seen some of Mr. Beast's videos. He went to this car dealership to pay for a car in pennies, recorded it all, and the dealership accepted it. After that, Mr. Beast keeps going back to this dealership to buy cars, or do other stupid stunts, the dealership gets the money and publicity. I have seen other YTers do the same to this dealership, paying in pennies, etc. If your business is friendly to these kind of pranks, it can do wonders for your business!

Thank you DJ. I really enjoy watching your videos and bringing us an insight into very interesting places around the countryside. As for the security person from the estate security office, he needs to brush up on his people skills. I am very impressed with your professional skills of putting your points across to people and educating them.
Fantastic work as always, DJ. The security guard did at least keep reasonably calm and wasn't physically aggressive or abusive, but I got the impression that he'd spent some time preparing himself for an encounter with an auditor and was really fed up when he realised that he was still wrong. In terms of the legality of filming any of the businesses, I have to wonder what they would do if I sat on the bus that goes through and stops at that retail park and filmed out of the window as it went past each business. Do they really believe that they could tell someone on a public bus that their policy applies to them?
Angela is so used to people doing what she says that she is genuinely perplexed when someone tells her she is wrong. To be fair she was alright in the end.

That was good, the security guy was winding himself up, what a plonker. His boss the lady knew she didnt have much chance of implementing her orders so backed off. So if you had been a bit unsure and not as strong you would have left defeated but it aint happening. Good for you.
The security guard in the car had as much charisma as the snail I accidentally trod on, but no doubt the snail had a higher IQ (even after I squashed it😀).
Nice one DJ. Angela seemed reasonable enough. Keith on the other hand was well and truly schooled. Like how you ignored him after bidding farewell to Angela.

@@satanicbbc5090 Derrick is not wrong. I have gone back over the video and at no point have I seen Keith being overly aggressive. Evaluating both, it seems that DJ is the one who at times is being verbally aggressive. Regarding the incident that you are alluding to (15:30). Dj says he's going to be at other parts of the estate today, and when told that will not be happening, his response is to verbally challenge Keith, "Yes I am. Yes I am. So what are you going to do about it?" In reply, DJ is told that they, referring to the management team and not himself, will have to remove him. DJ asks how Keith will do this. Still thinking in terms of the management team, he replies "with minimal force". At no point was this presented as a threat, it was a response to questions asked, simply pointing out the consequences that Keith in good faith considered to be the law.
@@satanicbbc5090 This is an overreaction, to say the least. I am actually concerned about you. What has caused this response, labelling me a liar, telling me that I’m stupid and my behaviour is toxic? I can understand you not liking to be disagreed with, but the virulence behind this comment speaks to things past, and possibly present, that are powering this reaction. Never has it even crossed my mind to think you are a liar, stupid, whose behaviour is toxic. Whatever the case, I just want to tell you that you are forgiven, even before you ask. I can assure you that at no point have I intentionally lied. If there is an error somewhere in what I wrote, please point it out to me. If you are correct, then I will change my thinking accordingly, as well as thanking you for bringing it to my attention. Regarding your comments concerning Keith’s behaviour, I have created a transcript for you, which includes Time Stamps. You will find it at the end of my comments. “The security guard stated they would remove cameraman from site with minimum force required.” He didn’t. This was a response to DJ’s question. “Repeated words to that effect at least twice threatening force…obviously aggression, and illegal.” He does repeat it later - please see transcript - but on neither occasion does he threaten DJ when doing so. There is no aggression shown. “What I typed is what is shown in this video.” I beg to differ. What has been typed is either what you believe you saw, or an interpretation of what you saw. “…threatening force means threatening to be violent…” There are ranges of things that can result from threats; it does not always follow that it will be physical violence. Furthermore, there is a fine line between stating consequences and making threats. In this case, my view is that Keith did not threaten DJ he simply stated consequences. As you are well aware, I do not consider Keith’s behaviour to be stupid or toxic. In hindsight, certainly, he could have dealt with DJ in a better way, but hindsight should be used rarely if ever to judge someone’s actions. Relevant Transcript: First incident. Time Stamp 15:26 to 15:36 DJ: I’ve got many other places I’m going to go to on this industrial estate. Keith: Not on my [unintelligible]. DJ: Yes I am. Yes I am. Keith: No, you’re not. DJ: So, what are you going to do about it? Keith: Okay. Well we'll have to remove you won't we. DJ: How can you remove me? Keith: Minimal amount of force required. DJ: (Dismissive tone) Yeah. Right. Keith: Okay? Second incident. Time Stamp 25:01 to 25:14 Keith: We don’t want you on here. DJ: I don't care what you want! Keith: Don't get aggressive, please. DJ: Right. I'm going call your boss. Keith: I've already asked you twice. DJ: I've refused to leave your roads! Okay? Keith: So, we can use minimal amount of force to remove you. DJ: I’m visiting these businesses, they will welcome my impromptu visit.

Edit: Apologies, a slightly off topic car waffle appeared as if by magic when the Nissan sign popped up... Most fun in a Nissan was my ex's 1.3 Micra with a C.V.T. box! Previous little old lady had taped over the sport button and felt penned a big X on it. My ex had been told it was broken, that it made the car noisy, undriveable and not to use it, so she never had! I ripped off the tape and a boring runabout turned into a howling, gas turbine sounding, hoot of a car! It transformed the little thing! I'd always wondered why it was so slow. It didn't weigh anything and with a 1.3 it should've been quicker than it was even with a CVT! It was amazing fun around town! Where I lived was a mass of hills & roundabouts. (Think Milton Keynes with 1:6 hills). Around town it was like driving a warp drive go-kart! It would absolutely howl and accelerate like mad up to 65 or so. I upset all sorts of posers in flash motors! This little hatch in red paint that'd had that white dust finish (never polished in nearly 20 years) with bits of missing trim and a gormless expression on its happy face would make an ear piercing howling noise and beat nearly anything to the next roundabout. I had all the exits, bends and bumps in that town down pat (one uphill, sharp left, dual carriageway, with a smooth kerb on the apex meant it looked like a risky 50mph if you used both lanes but I kept shaving a few mph each time it was dry and it was an 80mph + taking hyoooge amounts of that glorious smooth kerbed apex. That corner upset quite a few Porsches etc. with that little Micra. Mainly because they didn't know about the smooth inside kerb... But still, fun!!! It was slow and very noisy on a run. On a motorway it was a blessed relief when you stopped. But around town it was perfect! Cheap enough so you could hurtle & not worry about bits because that CVT box held the 1.3 in its power band and it would get HOT!. But that was it's secret. It would rev to it's best HP output and hold it there, screaming! It's why I got the Corolla CVT 2.0 hybrid. CVT's used to be Honda Melody's & Micras but they've come a long way. Keeping an engine in it's power band and using it to charge your battery as you drive is really efficient. It's why locomotives are often diesel electric for that reason...
To be fair to Angela she took it all very well in the end. Mr Hi-Viz on the other hand took everything way too seriously. I found him to be a bit threatening.

But he would spill his shandy if it wasn't.
He's the kind of man whose adult children don't talk to him and he can't understand why.
OMG, a ‘round earther’ , get a grip man :)
you can prove that can you without cgi
But the earth is flat 😂😂😂😂
He can't be clueless he has a yellow vest on.😂 Liked his politely asked you to leave and your polite decline. Same effect. Well done 👍
The security guard had just died inside when he was sat on the bench at the end. 🤣
If I’m the estate management of the industrial park I’d be severely embarrassed by the security guard here. There’s no harm or threat from the photographers on these videos. Indeed as potential customer of these businesses I take a dim view of them interfering with the photographer’s human rights.
Great free marketing for the companies,
You are right to a point.

It was so cute how excited he was to see you.

He should have said "stay and film" then you would have to leave 😁
Me too classic…. The bloke was to thick to realise
That's what happens when he "tries" to be clever. Should stick to things he knows - which doesn't seem to be much.
Very patronising security guard. A hi-vis and £8.60 an hour makes them feel all powerful.

You absolutely owned this guy! 😂😂😂 easily one of my faves!
😂😂😂 that security guy is the gift that keeps on giving! Fantastic! What a big kid!
Fascinating to watch and after watching so many of your videos, there definitely seems to be a correlation between temperament and where on the corporate ladder you’re placed.
The guy in the sunglasses at the beginning 😂😂 cheer up fella😂
You handled the drama queen security guard brilliantly.
Love that your bike is becoming so well recognised. Iconic as you say. Cool as.
Great work 👍👍
Well done for holding your ground and not crumbling, if he carried on following you you should ring 101 and report him for causing harassment, alarm and distress
A battle of wits - sadly the security guy is unarmed.
Lol
Was in Lutterworth yesterday. One of the companies on the old industrial estate to the north has a Union Jack upside down - it's a sign for distress. You could have visited and offered assistance...
Another security guard that thinks he knows the laws when he clearly is up against someone who does this for a living, can’t make it up can you. Yet another great vid by DJ.
Funny.....😂
That fan interaction was so wholesome.
The site looked quite nice but Keith seemed a bit too aggressive in his behaviour. The people at Magna made themselves look bad which is a shame. Company’s would over 250k people seeing them in a good light it is free publicity if they get it right.
Security.. "I've got things to do" stopping the skin forming on my milky coffee!!
I like DJ’s posts because he is so polite and keeps it fun but doesn’t take nonsense either,
Anyone would think Keith is guarding area 51 😂 another great video, keep up the good work
That security guy was really serious about his employment. He's worked his way up the ladder for sure.
Hope thats sarcasm. 'up the ladder' surprised he's allowed to work unattended
Angela is so used to people doing what she says that she is genuinely perplexed when someone tells her she is wrong. To be fair she was alright in the end.
Yeah thats how a lot of managers are when they have been in a managerial job for like 30 years etc lol

The first security guard gave you permission.. Good to go! The second one is just being extra..
He was good to go anyway
he was thick as mince
He doesn't need permission ;DDD
He did have his panties all bunched up.
That was good, the security guy was winding himself up, what a plonker. His boss the lady knew she didnt have much chance of implementing her orders so backed off. So if you had been a bit unsure and not as strong you would have left defeated but it aint happening. Good for you.
The guy spotting you who was just watching one of your videos was awesome! He deserved the keyring!
You don't need any permission to fly your drone from a public place , Eddie stobart brilliant 👍
The security guard in the car had as much charisma as the snail I accidentally trod on, but no doubt the snail had a higher IQ (even after I squashed it😀).
"Is there a possibility you might be wrong?" is a wonderful British way to say "You've got no clue, plonker!" without saying it out loud.
Nice one DJ. Angela seemed reasonable enough. Keith on the other hand was well and truly schooled. Like how you ignored him after bidding farewell to Angela.
Restores your faith I'm sure when you get friendly drivers/workers who know who you are and tell you they enjoy your videos. Meanwhile that security guy was was high as a kite (or your drone), his adrenalin and ego pumping away there to get you to leave being a busy man that he said he was.
I was pleased to see you keeping cordial conversations where possible. It was also notable how many approached you looking for a key ring. I hope you will continue to develop the public trust and, by achieving widespread recognition, bring recalcitrant "owner" to be less nervous. I shall continue to watch with interest.
The interaction with the main security guard gave this video a very surreal feel, almost like some kind of hallucination or something

I too saw what you refer to as being "fidgeting". But it appeared to me to be self-soothing, such as rocking from side to side and rubbing the back of the neck. I think Keith was more frustrated than he was angry, which is understandable seeing any of us thinking we were utterly correct would be frustrated if someone didn't listen to us.
As for being held back by his manager, he wasn't unable to do anything earlier. Furthermore, I seriously doubt his manager being in contact with him would have held him back anyway, if he did decide to do something.

What an over inflated ego this excuse for a security man has if he is on £5 an hour he is grossly overpaid.

Such a shame that this horrible little man from security is such an aggressive arse. He is a disaster when it comes to public relations. Their management team need to be made aware of his disgusting approach.

“The security guard stated they would remove cameraman from site with minimum force required.”
He didn’t. This was a response to DJ’s question.
“Repeated words to that effect at least twice threatening force…obviously aggression, and illegal.”
He does repeat it later - please see transcript - but on neither occasion does he threaten DJ when doing so. There is no aggression shown.
“What I typed is what is shown in this video.”
I beg to differ. What has been typed is either what you believe you saw, or an interpretation of what you saw.
“…threatening force means threatening to be violent…”
There are ranges of things that can result from threats; it does not always follow that it will be physical violence.

Reminds me of "Days of old, When men were bold, Ships of wood, Men of steel"! The "Foxtrot Oscar" is an old Navy saying!
I've never seen a man so happy to get a keyring! He was cool.😎
Edit : Keith looks like a deflated balloon at the end.😆😆
