As a foreigner living in Thailand, I appreciate the Filipino auto reviews because Filipino's speak English in their videos. All the automotive RUclipsr's here speak Thai (obviously).
As a foreigner in the Philippines, I totally can relate. Not all but a few do english reviews. And they are pretty good too.
I used to envy cars with lots of tech when I was still driving a mid variant altis. Now that im driving a car with all the bells and whistles, i realized you dont need most of the hitech/automatic features. Madalas dagdag gastos at intindihin pag nasira o may error. With that said, the entry level AT variant navara seems like a very good deal
What do you think would be the most essentials tech and features you'll need for a car then? I'm soon to be a first time owner and I'm easily get attracted to techy features.
@@arisart22 Parking sensors, reverse camera, Android auto/apple carplay compatibility for the headunit..and airbags of course.
Rain sensing wipers, auto dimming rearview mirrors, automatic/auto leveling headlamps or even cruise control is totally unnecessary for me.
I like this comment 🙌
Exactly. Head unit, Reverse camera, parking sensors, power folding side mirror, 360 camera and cruise control. Gotta need that for long drives. The rest. I dont need.
Parang cellphone na ang mga cars ngayon.
This is one of the best comment sections I have seen :) Nice for different guys to share lists about what are essentials in a vehicle. Plus, in one of the comments below, many individuals even gave encouragement to one who could not buy his/her own vehicle yet. Because of the ongoing pandemic, having one's own vehicle is no longer a luxury but a necessity. God bless everyone :)
I cant even afford these cars and yet I watch because I am entertained. :)
You'll get there, bro!
I feel you bruh😆
Ifeelyou
Ifeelyah!
Makakabili ka soon! God bless you
I own a 2018 sports edition but I can't seem to get enough of these reviews.
I agree with u,it doesn’t seem to be popular than other trims...maybe its more unique or limited than others haha
Love this guy lol so humourous, entertaining and knowledgeable. 💯
Man, that face lift is astounding. The Terra's goona look amazing
Unfortunately, the facelifted Terra looks a bit far from this face. It would've been better if it carried the same design IMO
Very informative & entertaining review Caco you're the best presenter I've seen locally
Yes, I agree :) Even better than many foreign car reviewers :)
Who is this guy narrating? What a great ad-man. I laugh everytime I see him reviewing stuff. He makes it a joy to watch. Funny, intelligent - whatta guy, thanks.
His name is Caco Terona
Im planning to get the TOL red one but still eyeing the strada. Im confuse between the two.. maybe when i get home and try to test drive both of them will give me the final decision..
Btw.. Caco still never fail to entertain me.. he is like Bitoy of the car world of philippines. imho nothing will beat him giving reviews regarding vehicles.
caco shouldve continued his first joke as: "Capable of conquering any Frontier at any Calibre"
Engine with high torques will deliver high pulling power than engine with lower torques. When overtaking and driving uphill 3rd gear is very powerful for high torque engine whereas low torques may shift to 2nd gear to ist gear when driving uphill to catch up.
The more features the more convenience but the more hassles and expenses for fixing troubles, however at least for once in a lifetime we experienced and enjoy high tech car that affordable to our pocket.
ito ang gusto ko about nissan and mitsubishi.. engine specs are the same among all models unlike toyota, if you don't have the top of the line spec, you will have a diff engine spec.. love the PRO X model.. those black accents make the truck look sporty..
Yung buong mundo na ang nagreview ng bagong navarra pero ikaw lang nakapansin sa butas sa may steering wheel... 😅😂🤣
Naghahanap ng kasama kasi yung pimple ko, hahahahahaha
@@cacotironacover it, see it, cover it, see it lol love that part 🤣🤣🤣
A good review. The affordable entry ranges of the Navaras or other 'utes assembled in Thailand come with only 2 or 3 frontal airbags. It's a pity that we have among the highest death toll rates from road accidents in the region, and yet the Japanese have a shortsightedness for safety for our market. Only the premium models get full safety features.
Wala akong pera pero nanonood lang ako kase napakagaling ni Caco sa lahat ng vids niyo! Hahaha
Hi i love your videos. Im planning to buy a navarra but whats the difference for VL calibre 4x4 and pro4x?
I have the M/T VE, and damn I love the power it brings. Even you don't step on the gas especially at 1st and 2nd gear it keeps going and what I love most when the engine fell short on lower gears the turbo charge come to the rescue even at low RPM. I love driving may manual ve at just 2000 rpm it brings enough power.
ok po ba i drive yung VE 4x4 MT sir? puro AT kc ang pang test drive :D
I agree with King Thranduil and most of the given lists :) My own list: a comprehensive set of airbags, reverse camera, parking sensors, safety features that should be standard (ex. ABS w/ EBD, stability control, etc.), ISOFIX tethers, lane departure warning, and blind spot detection. I think it is very good if the vehicle has an updated 5-star safety rating from a credible NCAP (ex. ASEAN NCAP).
P.S. For added convenience, during long drives: cruise control :)
Sobrang bangis ng navara!!! Bilhin ko yan sa 2026 second hand kaht 4x2 VL na BLACK lang hahaha for now I'm sticking with my coolray
Dami nang magandang pick-up, Strada seems to be cooking a good one silently. Hahaha
got the VL variant of the new navara 2021 lineup. It has power seats! and has 18 inch wheels. If you are not aiming for the rugged look of the pro4x the VL variant actually is a very good buy. I'm extremely happy with mine. And the quad led lights at front and the DRLs are the best looking so far in the PH market! Definitely a head turner
Hi sir, did you encounter any issues with the auto braking system? Also how's the ride quality? Thanks
@@reyki42b30 none so far. I believe nissan already fixed their auto breaking feature years ago so no need to worry about that. Ride quality is amazing for a pickup. Like what caco said in his vids, coil springs makes a whole lot difference.
@@ErnestMarvinEsteban thanks!
@@ErnestMarvinEsteban kmusta ang kunsumo sir tipid din po ba sa krudo?
@@v.m3749 di ko masabi since city driving ako palagi. Pero average lang sya. Di sya matipid di rin maman masyado magastos.
Nice comparo between the 2 variants good job
One thing i notice with car reviews is the lack of after-sales review. We can argue that it may differ on dealerships, but for the vehicle in general, why aren't reviewers providing that vital info to help buyers decide? Say the navara vs. ranger question. I've heard bad stories from ford ranger customers because of frequent issues, plus expensive maintenance costs. Maybe reviewers should start gathering these data as well, at least based from the previous model as a reference. Nonetheless, fun review as usual, more power to you
After sales support is almost non-existent with all brands. Pag follow-up pa nga lang ng plaka, iiwan ka na sa ere eh.
Hey Caco, what about the steering, it is still hydraulic or now electric?
Didn’t the old model of EL Calibre had the 360° camera?
Should still include it in the VE Calibre
Thank you for the CATBUS reference! 😸
Why is it that the top specs Pro-4X or VL 4x4 in the Philippines do not have the rear glass sliding window as the ones at the market overseas? Or can it be offered as an option?
Is this year's model still sitting on the F-Alpha platform, shared with the discontinued Mercedes Benz X-class?
Surprisingly, the VL variants of the Navara has powered seats and seat pockets.
Also tire pressure monitoring
Hahaha this car walk around vlogs just made my day. Honestly 👌😇😁😁😂😂😂
Update: There's also another Navara variant it's called "Calibre-X" basically a cheaper Pro4x
Please do the Media Drive feature of Porsche Taycan Turbo S. Thank You!
sir caco how bout the road noise/wind noise?...im always on the long trips so ito yun sobra concern ko... thanks thanks
Hi, anyone knows if the steering wheel of the present Navara model is tilt and telescopic? Also if the issues on the rack and pinion rubber mount bushings already addressed? Before there are complaints that the bushings easily worns out and makes it unstable on the road. Thank you in advance guys for your infos 😊
which is cheaper to maintain (for long term use) the navara or the strada? anyone here? please
I was truly impressed with the way Caco presented and reviewed this Pro4x, until i was able to snag a test drive of the vehicle, i just want to know why nobody, Caco included, ever mentioned how terrible the lag of the engine pull of the Pro4x, both in the automatic and in the manual mode? That is the reason for the WAS in my first sentence. I realized that the review was not honest or at the very least deliverately lacking in some very vital information.
Do you know when you will arrive in Saudi Arabia I mean Pro 4X
Yow This Was My Dream Car , Hope Someday I Can This...... Nc Review Sir..😃
Sir Caco, whats the difference between VE and VL variant of Navara?
BTW, I always watched your vids cause i really love cars and the way you explain stuffs to dummies like me! Great content po sir!
The Hilux GRS was one of our choices when buying a 4x4 truck. We went with the Navara Pro-4x instead. Just a few points why we went with the Pro-4x, riding comfort of course, nissan intelligent mobility which includes automatic emergency braking, blind spot alert, lane departure warning, rear cross traffic alert, and a better 360 camera in my opinion. Rear air vents, factory roof rails, 7 inch digital gauge cluster, 5yrs/150k km warranty, 7-speed AT, all-terrain tires, and still cheaper by 250k pesos. What I wish my Navara had, which the hilux has, is the black headliner and rear grab handles only i guess. Both are good looking, reliable, but parts are slightly cheaper for hilux. Loving my Navara even more since I don’t know why the Hilux is much expensive yet short on features, specially on the driver assists.
Because "Toyota" always overpriced at less features.

I got a Navara because of this review...so far loving my VL pero jusko ang lakas niya sa Diesel or baka di lang ako sanay cos I used to drive a sedan that could go approx 16km/L 🥲
Nissan Pro 4x navara is one of my dream pick up car
Ohhhh nooo. What happened to the lumbar support? They left it out. I had it in my 2018 VL 4X4
Sport
did you try EL manual 4x2? maybe can make comparison thanks
Bakit 2.5 liter parin ang makina...bat sa ibang bansa ay yung bagong YD23 na 2.3L
Before i finally bought it... i was totally in loved with the hybrid kicks, but everything made a big turn when , i saw bad reviews with kicks, out of my disappointment,😢 unintentionally i checked on NAVARA on the showroom , then i think it will be 2nd choice, i said to my self, with the price almost equal to kicks, i guess this was a wise choice.. kicks was my first love ,but now i owned this navara ve , i think Navara is now my true love...King of Autodeal had influenced me a lot on choosing my Suited Car for myself , Mabuhay po kayo, maraming salamat!❤😊
Here's some I don't like in Navaras a 1 charging point 🙁 because I just wanted to add 2 usb charging point in the rear under air vents
When you're young, you aspire to have these and you actually get them.. when you're 60, you ask: do i need this!? I'd rather be where i am now, practical and frugal than when you're young and wasting your money on things you realized you didn't need after all...ah but i love looking and admiring these things... i pretend im in a nissan navarra or honda civic when i drive my 2nd hand honda city.. then i smile when i realize i didn't throw away all that money for things i don't need when i was younger...thank you lord for guiding me.
I agree :) As long as the vehicle is reliable and has a comprehensive set of safety features, I'm okay with it :)
You missed to show how the coil springs perform/ respond to payload.
also hope when you're reviewing pickups next time try to show how it perform on the off road ( its natural habitat)
And the construction site.
The mall is its natural habitat
is this the same body size with the old np300?
Perfect listening some Eurobeat while driving on highway hahaha!! I will take a lil bump draft on 21 Hilux Conquest
2 videos about the Nissan Navara in 2021, but the fuel consumptions in the city for the Navara went from a 10 km/L in the city (in the comparo video) to only 8.2 km/L in the city in this video. Kinda weird such a big gap in 2 different tests, from the same reviewer.
Was it a very different city's traffic, or something else? It kinda bothered me and wished for more details. Thanks per advance.
ask ko lang po kung same performance ng suspension base model and all variants
how about the EL MT? is it okay?
It’s a 2.3L with 450nm no? That’s what it is in Australia anyways
how much full tank nyo sa navarra?
Behind the desk episode featuring the ford maverick 🥺
20 km/l on higway on ve variant for real?
The VE's window in the back looks bigger tho than Pro4x and VL
love the Pro 4X.. but wish it has the power seats like that of the VL...
Ye right
same kuya coco, nakaka distract nga yung butas sa manibela
Value is really strong with the Nissan Navara in all its trims. And it's not just because of the good equipment levels, but also because it has better-than-average onroad performance laden or unladen, and best-in-class comfort. For the lower variants, the interior is forgivable but yeah, the 1.8M Pro4x should have better.
Unladen.
Load some 500kgs and you're staring at the sky while you are driving.
@@peabrained3144 the new version has actually improved over the previous version. The new dual rate coil springs actually work, coupled with the slightly raised rear ride height. It did take them like 5 revisions (a lot considering the Navara has been on sale for 6 years only) overseas to get this right, and Philippines never got any of these iterations until now.
I wished they included a smart keyless entry on the VE.
I'm a sedan an hatchback owner hoping to have one of these soon... ❤️
Same I choose Pro4x in Grey one 😀
So I was choosing between ford ranger fx4 max and nissan navara. So ayun nag apply na ako sa dealer last week and sana ma approve. Planning to get the 4 x 2 VL variant. Laking tulong ng comparo at videos like this one sa decision making ko.
How about the Isuzu dmax?
@@ronramos771 i don’t like the front design of the dmax. That’s one major factor. The front grille looks weird for my taste.
Nissan Navara is really the contender for the pick up truck that need bigger tires
I strongly agree, they're really quite small compared to the other contenders in the segment
The VL variant has 18” pero weird na yung pro 4x only has 17. Yung ve siguro understandable pa
@@ErnestMarvinEsteban un nga chance na sana sa pro4x na palakihan ng kahit 265/65 lng
Got the Pro 4x already and I'm lovin' it!
Nice ninja logo, rokon \m/
hingi money
ok batman. hide in your mask 🦇
Pautang naman. 🤣
Sana ol 😃
cool, they got a customer car to join the review!
Is it Caliburr or Calibreh?
the "Frontier" reference tho... :D
You need to say which thpe of transmission were used ,like cvt, dct, torque converter, amt etc
Calibre X or pro4x?
Love this vehicle
May power adjustable seats na si pro-4x. They listened to Caco. Char.
Between the two I think the Nissan is better hands down.
It's actually a good thing they didnt install power adjustable seats. Madali masira. Manual adjustments will last until masira na pick up mo.hehe yung sa grand starex premium namin sira na power captain seats in less than 5yrs.haha
20km per liter on hi way. Is this true? Really?
no bed liner???
How much im interested
Is there a significant difference in the capabilities of those variants that have 450nm torque vs. those that only have 400nm of torque? I hope someone could answer me. Thanks.
Of course...mas mahina ang hatak pag mababa ang torque
@@amazingworld6805 salamat sa sagot Sir.
The higher the hood the better?
Awesome 👌🏻
With that asking price(Pro4X) and even a bedliner that to be expected from a pick up truck is absent; robbery on broad daylight.
Es normal que el motor salte tanto??
Dapat yung calibre logo tinanggal nila Medyo much nagka worse yung logo nila kasi slanted na unlike yung previous model medyo ganda.
Natawa ako sa "it stares you in the face, like a pimple"
🤣🤣🤣
“Ang arte mo” haha
@@BigBoyBato sabi ni Jack 😂
Is it possible to have all those features of the pro 4x in the VE Calibre
no. pero you can buy the slightly more expensive VL variant instead and it has power seats for the driver side
@@ErnestMarvinEsteban not worth it imo, 140,000 pesos, 5000-10000 pesos monthly more for powered seats lol, blind spot warning (u got side mirrors for a reason), rain sensing wipers (are u rlly that lazy? Jesus christ), auto dimming rear view mirror(like cmon bruh do i rlly need to explain how useless this thing is)
The only features i wish they added to the navara ve is the 360 camera but i think they made it the same with terra ve which lacks all the VL features but still has the auto breaking system
Edit: when i said "are u that lazy" i wasnt talking about you btw hehe, just the people who want this feature
@@ErnestMarvinEsteban but nice choice tho if i had to choose between the pro 4x, and the VL i would choose the VL
You get the same features and you have powered seats lol and the difference between the 4x4 VL At and the pro 4x at is like 200,000 php idk why you would choose the pro 4x over this u could spend those 200,000 on new A/T tires and accessories and it would become better than the pro 4x
@@redacted7793 depends on the person of course. Maybe not worth it for you but it is for me. Orignally wanted the VE but the 4k difference monthly amortization is a small price to pay to have all of those conveniences/features :). You’re also forgetting about the smart keyless entry, which is also a huge convenience
Wait, the VL varieant I checked today have power seat.
and has 18 inch wheels. compared to pro 4x's 17.
Underrated brand
nissan sylphy review pls.

Sauce for the cat?
If you are coming from a hilux, your backside will thank you when you go to a navara. Especially for more mature drivers, the long drive will not beat you up like the other trucks and is more like a suv than a truck.
You forgot the spare tires.
Is Navarr VL 4X2 a good choice?
Yes!!! But it's kinda same as Pro4x
Sa Pinas, saying weight in Pounds!?
Isn't the auto braking system an issue?
2022 rear disc break and 18 inch wheel for all new navara 🤪
Why is this video feels trippy?
