When checking out this Hilux model, please don't just sit in the driver's seat or the front passenger seat. Check the rear seats as well. Then you can judge the level of comfort the rear seats offer to the rear passengers.
The Exterior design, durability, abundance of parts and good resale value are good perks of owning this vehicle. But this is Overpriced yet underspec'd. At that price where are the ff:
1. Toyota Safety Sense
2. Rear aircon vents
3. Leather seats
4. Hood Dampers
5. Power adjustable Drivers seat
6. Improved suspension
7. Improved steering feel

@@alberton-hq8qx yes they do improve it overtime. The new DMAX and Navarra have improved theirs respectively on their 2021 model. Not sure about Toyota yet.

Just realized the rear shocks ride inside the leaf springs, on Tacomas they're on the outside which is better for more articulation off-road.

Nice explanation for some has a lot complaints regarding hilux ride comfort. Its a truck after all a real truck
Hilux is the best. Tested on river crossing, climbing on rocky mountain in crawling speed and loaded with relief goods during typhoon haiyan for almost a year. It has a usable torque and horse power. Super durable engine. Can handle serious extreme road condition. And can actually make a road on its own.

The All new 2021,.Toyota hi-lux that despite the minimalist of comfort! It's still look good to the eyes specially with their v models,,..That just looks too cool to be true as for their g models it just look simple and clean! Besides it's newly face lifted grill

Go for G and upgrade the headlight and taillights like the Conquest and everythinf will be spot on!!! Saw one in my city and is truely an eye catcher
The update 2024 looks meh I prefer the 2016-2021 facelift (exception the Hilux G Conquest edition)
Hopefully nobody outside of Phillipine relying that much on this review since many features are not the same.. for instance Hilux Conquest is lacking aircon vent on the rear passenger, but in other countries it's available.. or if you're in the middle east, Hilux Conquest is using a V6 engine holy shit... n many more things.. still a nice review

i'll buy the J 4x4 it cost around p1.18M. Lift up the suspension and install alloy wheels. its a practical choice if looks isn't a problem.

Was supposed to buy one but found that its added bulk (compared to the previous model) is mostly for aesthetics and not even functional (for people or cargo). On the front end alone, there's almost a foot of empty space between the grill and the radiator. Bought an Innova instead.
HiLux is usually the first choice for most pickup buyers but the all new D Max is seemingly a worthy competitor A comparison review with D Max would be interesting Great review as expected, Caco

Looking for hilux and dmax reviews from autodeal since I’m planning to purchase(umutang) a pickup. Matagtag nga ba ang hilux? Pero sa pagkaka alam ko matibay talaga hilux kasi nga gamit ng mga taliban atbp.
Fun Fact: There’s an actual variant of the Hilux in Europe called the ‘Invincible’. A nod I guess to those torture tests Clarkson did with their 80s Hilux. 😊

I need pickup track with comfort driving cause not all the time i put heavy loads, me and my wife we always enjoying travels so what pickup track is suitable for long drive but we prepared for toyota hilux and ford ranger which of this two are better?
Ranger if manual transmission because ford automatic transmission is not reliable,you should consider isuzu d-max with better ride comfort and same reliable,durable as hilux,well if ranger or hilux only,go for hilux.

I drove the conquest yesterday and I gotta say it’s one of the best rides, regarding the smoothness of the ride I gotta say too it’s bumpy indeed, comparing it to avanza, avanza is much smoother

Based on what was presented, isn't Ford Wildtrak a better option if you have to compare it with Conquest? It has better specs and look cooler.
If you want the teche go ranger if you want reliabilty go hilux....two types of market/buyers right?
Avoid Ford if you will buy automatic transmission because of issue in transmission,most reliable ford vehicles are manual transmission.
