  • The best and easy way of making dhotua dal just like as it it served in himachali dham that too in pressure cooker. Traditionally served with rice .
    Ingredients
    Urad dal : 1 bowl (150 grm)
    ghee : 1/2 quantity of urad dal
    hieng : 1/4 tsp
    jaiphal : 1 pinch
    salt : 1 and 1/2 tsp
    haldi : 1 tsp
    water : 2 times the quantity of dal
    Masala :
    zeera : 1 tsp
    dhaniya : 1 tsp
    bay leaves : 2
    badi elaichi : 3
    Choti elaichi : 4
    dalchini : chota tukra
    kali mirchi : 15-20
    laung : 4-5
    saunf : 1 tsp
    javitri : 1 small piece
    dhai : 4 tbsp
    ginger powder : 1/4 tsp
    lal mirchi : 1/2 tsp
