In my younger years, I did some surveying just North of the Yellow River East of Crestview, FL. A polt of land equaling 35 acres and having to measure and offset the line several times because the trees (36'+) were far too wide to be taken down. Not my best day, but I got it done correctly. There was one tree has a hole through it so the line could be seen. Think about that for a few minutes. We had to cross the river on multiple occasions, water moccasins and small alligators were present while crossing that river.
BTW, the US Army Rangers have a camp near where we were surveying, so they had a blast watching how were traversed through that swampy area,

I did a survey job near Gainesville that had a nicely maintained green grass yard with 3 giant cypress trees . They were also maintained well . 2 were huge twisted gnarly things and 1 looked like the biggest X-mas tree you ever saw . Standing next to them I felt the same as when as a child I stood under that blue whale at the Smithsonian in DC , small .

Hickory tree huh, I have 4 of them around the house 3 in the front yard and one monster in the back yard difference in the nuts that I get is between a .5 dollar-sized small nut from front to those in excess of 3" across from that tree in the back yard. //there had been some 10 short needle pine trees that I removed. One of them fell toward the house and I made it fall away from the house when my Dad said that I would not be able to do that. Little did he know how I was going to make it get done, but it fell in the walkway in front of the house and the limbs weren't there when it fell. I'd gone up it like a monkey and removed those branches and as I did the tree started coming away from the house. I had delimbed the tree so nothing would hang from it weighing it down. When I pulled the stump using my Ranger XLT 6 cyl PU in reverse the stump jumped out of the ground. It was full of fat-litered which we used on Boy Scout Camping trips. FYI I was the Scoutmaster of Troop 507 Mary Esther, FL from 1972-1979,.

Definitely have plenty stuff for fish habitat in the upcoming pond build project Chris! lol That’s a lot of stumps brother, nothing near as many as your stump clearing job though! This is just a drop in a bucket compared to that job! lol 😂 I still enjoy watching you stack the pile up, if there’s not much dirty internet them, they make a hell of a hot fire brother! lol 😂 I’m sure enjoy watching you work with the thumb when clearing a property line, it sure comes in handy on those small trees and bushes! And watch you work yourself through the woods with your Volvo and never scraping her paint at all is what I call a real operator brother, she always looks great working in those tight areas, I wish I could get some of that hickory wood for my favorite hobby, grilling! Hickory, cherry and just about any fruit wood works great for grilling meat my friend! We just don’t have those amounts of smoking woods like y’all have there in North Carolina brother, the Carolina’s have most of the smoking woods I’ve seen! I have a guy on UTUBE that’s around that area that makes fruit wood charcoal and I’d like to get in touch with him and order some of his charcoal because he ships it to everyone across the country! Can’t remember his businesses name because it’s been so long since I’ve gotten on his channel! But I see you taking down of all these grilling wood trees and makes me want to get in touch with him to buy some! I would imagine he would probably buy some of the tree wood from Mr.Bealy if he knew y’all were taking it down and just piling and burning it! But that’s another adventure! Chris you’re doing a great job brother and thanks for sharing your time and videos my friend! 👌🏻👌🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸 Stay safe brother! 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Be careful when you talk to that operator that leaves too much dirt with the dozer root rake, if he quits how will you keep paying for equipment? ;) Do not buy the tree cutter, you are the Pond Master and Logger WaYde does not need competition.
