The ability to get any excavator to delicately pick items up is beautiful to watch. Picking that pipe up with the grading bucket on was art. Maestro, you are a joy to watch as you direct the symphony of your machines.
Such a great post, after a long day. My hospital bed was delivered, new learning curve on my end, but a nice long post of man, machine, and the great outdoors thank you letsdig18
It always amazes me how easy you make the jobs look into see that you are one with your machine once again you do such great work and professionalism second to none great job
Hi from uk chris👋👍 I love these nice hour long one job ones👌 nicest 4 buds al drink watching you for that time👍 hope you guys had great time at the fair you hit on with mike and matt 👌 enjoy rest of your weekend, thanks for your time and be safe see you soon👍👋
The output you can achieve with a small machine is, I think, your most impressive display of natural ability and harmony with the machine you run . Superb skill and an ability to explain your reasoning and actions.
I never really thought about the way you put that swirling motion into the vegetation to make it tangle up so it will pull more out with the bucket bite . So an old dog like me can learn new trickss.
Yeah I rented a mini this weekend, redo some ditches, demo an old culvert entry. You make it look easy, I can trench and demo fine but shaping those ditches, well I'll have just as much time on a hand rake. Thank you for the content Chris
That little Yanmar's a peach; but wierdly missing mud and the 250. Looking forward to the meet and greet with Mr.Creek and Mr.Perfect. Shame North Wales is a bit too far to come to tell ya'all that your company during lockdown kept this moderately old geezer going. Cheers.
Like the video so happy that you're dusty instead of muddy for once in a while I hope that the property owner is happy with the ending as we are watching you do such great work take care
Chris the way you angled the bucket picking up the large concrete slabs was amazing. Old pipe looked like a slinky. Now get the curve out of the ditch and lets go get tater tots and play with Winston. Thanks Chris. Have a good weekend,
That was a nice little job, with several small jobs to do. I like those kind of jobs, not the same ol , same ol all the time !! You get to do a few different things in one !! You and Unk got it all looking good Chris, as always !! It's great that your Uncle and You both have a Great name there where you live, people know who to call when they want something done right !! You always do awesome work that any land owner will be proud of !! You know as well as I do Chris , there are a lot of "Outfits" that don't take pride in their work and end up ripping so many people off, and leaving jobs unfinished or just straight shitty work !! And you guys get called to "redo" it a lot of times, I've seen over the years watching you guys. Great as always Chris !! Enjoy watching your work everyday... Have a Great Evening Man !! And, On too the Next !!
That will make it much easier for everybody involved. Going to look good to boot, nice clean up job.👍🏻combines today need a little more than 12’ to make life comfortable on cross overs. Thanks for the ride along.
So tidy now and such a slick job done there. Loads of nicely detailed and precise work done there on a pretty wide variety of locations across the one site. Be well Chris. ;)
really dig how you handle the little Yanmar mini. not one wasted move, very fluid motions. the very soothing hum of the little machine. Cheers from Louisiana.
For kinda small job you had quite a bit of work there, trenching, laying pipes and cleaning up.looks like it was couple nice days there.never disappoint, keep it up 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Where are the ball caps and coffee mugs for "Let's Dig 22" I have enough tee shirts to open my own store would like to have either of the afore mentioned items or both if they were available, absolutely love the show don't think I could enjoy my morning cup of coffee if I'm not watching Chris at work, keep em' rollin' and we'll keep watching...
I had to smile at the size of this pond after the biggies you've worked lately! A nice reflective surface, though. If you want, have a look at Lake Matheson NZ, 'Images' to see why it reminded me.
Nice job Chris putting that 40 ft piece of pipe in I would like to see dirt perfect do that the first time drop it in the hole and only have to move the end about 4 in. 👍☜👌✌
Small pond Builders have to start thinking about putting Pawns in the shade so there's less evaporation because we're always in a drought now so I would try to keep it in the shadiest spot as possible
Any pond will always be in the sun mate. Unless it’s surrounded by some 1000 year old trees (which we don’t have on the east coast and Midwest). It’s more about how big the pond’s water shed is. Some ponds can have huge water sheds, even 2-3000 acres as all that land drains through where the pond is. Others have almost none and will never be full often.
@@Taskarnin that's funny I live on the east coast Vermont is the east coast and might be the Northeast but it's the east coast and we have lots of Pawns in the shade surrounded by trees yeah I get it down there where you don't have any mountains like we do in Vermont that's true but it's not true in every state on the East Coast, mate
Hey Chris question, what are the advantages to using the metal pipe opposed to the black plastic. I only ask this because most of the pipes you end up replacing our metallic and rusted out.
Very likely the metal pipes were installed before the days that plastic pipes was even available. Plastic has a longer life expectancy than metal pipes that rust out.
It's rare to see you have a wasted motion you always think about your next move while you're making this one you are so smooth and efficient you sir are a master and all you ever hear is the motor running no clanking and yanking and all that b*******
The thing is he probably doesn't think about his next move. He drives up to the ditch looks at it for 10 seconds and starts digging before he knows it everything is removed and it's ready to go back in That's a great thing about experience no thinking involved. Just in my opinion now I can be totally wrong I have been wrong many times at least that's what she's told me just kidding One of the best things I ever did. 😇
@@whatdoyouthinktodd Oh, he thinks it through before he touches a joy stick. The key to this kind of work is know before you start so you don't mess up and have to do things twice. By the time he fires up the machine it is all worked out in his head and then it becomes muscle memory. Experience comes in when a plan comes together. The newbie makes a plan but it does not work so now he starts winging it and trying to make it work and it takes twice as long and is not as good in the end. Having a realistic plan at the front makes a world of difference. Chris is the best at that. He started so young that he is a master at a young age. Just a kid really but got the same years of experience as an old man.
Good day Chris, watching you dig the head section ditch…removing the brush….makes one wonder…how many and what type of snakes might you find in a place like that? Rattlesnake? Copperhead? Moccasin? Cottonmouth? All of them?
clipped this one a little short - no footage of new overflow intake, anti-seep collar, how you plugged the leaking old overflow, etc. - I like watching dirt move, but I love seeing the construction details more
@@Taskarnin ah, that would be great - I got the feeling he was calling this job done since he mentioned a concrete pour that wasn't on video. I'm guessing it was one of the simpler overflows similar to those he's covered in the past, & maybe the land owner handled plugging the old drain or something & he just didn't mention such, I just like the details
One thing is for sure . When you leave a job . The property owner should know he/she got their money’s worth . Because you always go the extra step to make sure it’s done right
Snakes really do not like people and machines. They tend to get out of the way if they can. Almost certain they were there, just moving out of the way so fast we did not see them.

Great video 👍 👍 That was impressive picking up big chunks of concrete without a thumb 👍
That yanmar is such a nice versatile machine, love it
It's great to watch somebody run something because they want to not because they have to
Leveraging the corner of the concrete to move was slick! My favorite RUclips channel really enjoy the digging.
Every job is done with great dispatch and excellent at best with the customer focus at the front...

The crunching of vegetation while clearing is sooooo relaxing. It is my favorite sound when I do clean up jobs.
Amazing what a PROFESSIONAL can accomplish in a few days...an amateur would take WEEKS. 💰
Nice work Chris! 👍
This video had just about everything!! Enjoyed it, lots of different tasks and even got to see a little mud!!

Glad to see you’re out of the mud on this one. Just finished watching the pond dredging playlist.
Another god job today sun and no rain or mud to play with just a lot of sand

The seasonal changes and beauty of North Carolina are wonderful. Good growing 'dirt' on the well maintained property. Oh and nice work on this job.
Another job done & dusted. Next!!! Take care & cheers 🐨🦘🥰
Smooth operation! Not a wasted movement n at times 2 or 3 things at once while watching it take shape.
Looks like the pipes back falling into the stone, and then you see 40 degree slope he's working on. Top content as always mate 👍

I hope you get a bottle of wine (or 2!) from this sweet job! ;D
