- LNER A4 Class 4-6-2 no 60019 Bittern [4464] hauling The Capital Streak, York to London Kings Cross. This is the last of the 2013 90mph runs to celebrate 75 years of A4 Class Mallard's world steam record. Bittern filmed here is coming off the end of a 90mph section, slowed to meet the 75 MPH speed limit on Newark Flying Crossing Newark one of the few flat railway crossings in the UK where The East Coast Main Line is crossed by the Nottingham-Lincoln line
Excellent shot Jeff. Lovely zoom out and pan. Very good - Hayden.
Fantastic clip of Bittern doing what she does best!
Brilliant shot of Bittern Jeff!. There's just something so classy about a Streak at high speed and so well captured as well! I must say I like your intro and music - its classy too! Thanks. Ken
Ken Browne Bittern is my fav loco, It has always put on a show for me and I have always got good shots out of it. I shall miss it when it goes off line for a major overhaul at the end of the year.
“Woooosh look at me look at me” said bittern racing through knapford
Fantastic. Thanks for the clip.
Nicely captured - WOW !.
Perfect shot Jeff, Enjoyed watching Barry
Nice one Jeff. well done for choosing a great location. Mike
Great catch.
Nice one Jeff. Our shots are quite different, despite the fact that we both used the same location. Cheers, Dave.
Ladies and gentlemen we appear to have a streaker on the pitch!
Terrific Country Shot! I filmed it through Newark station doing 77.14mph, I would've thought Newark would be a 90mph section giving that it did 91mph on it's way North back in June?
Nice shot,I saw at Kings cross.
Nice 1 Jeff, Dave
Good shot... and let's remember you where the first person to post a 90mph vid on RUclips 😞 ...⁘⁙☁☁⁙..☁……Hᴜɢʜ….Lɪᴋᴇᴅ…..ツ
Nice video, but why is there a cat singing "If it takes forever" at the start?
only in your mind. You stopped the medication?
MrKnowwun "You were always on my mind" was an Elvis song. This damn cat is following me all over RUclips. I'm sure there's a tail behind it.
It could be a targeted advert aimed at people like me with tablet issues.
isant this the Mallard? or 1 of the mallards reletives?
Its A4 class no 4464 Bittern. Mallard was A4 no 4468.
Can we dump these modern rubbish trains and go back to steam please for mainline use? Oh if only! I remember when the journey TO the holiday destination was part of the fun, now it's just travelling. Moving from a to b nothing about it is enthralling anymore. Seen one sprinter or whatever, seem em all.
do 100mph
ไม่อยากจะติหรอก แต่ถ่ายหมาไม่เห่าเลย ไม่รู้จะซูมทำไมนักหนา??@Thailand
