Great video, super informative! I found myself remembering tips from the first one (like using the pillows to protect the dishes). Can't wait for the next camping trip!!!

Excellent video sir , actually realistic about the teardown time ,we’ve been pop up camping for 16yrs and I have the bigger rockwood 2516g , we started in a StarCraft about your size, while it’s been tempting to upgrade to a hard side we still love our pop-up, right now mine is in my garage while my neighbors hard side is at a storage lot he has to pay for , sure there’s a little more work, but we love ours, you made me laugh cause I was bit by the travel door storage also the first time we tore down . Excellent teardown system you have. 2 tips would be at least in our case. I spread out the bunk curtains and window blinds, so they don’t bunch up when folding in the canvas , and when you push in the bunk ends stop half was to push in your side window with the screening so they do not tear on the lift or post , made that mistake on the first pop-up and caused a small tear in the screen.keep up the camper videos and some jeeping video’s would be icing on the cake , 👍🏻

Thanks for the comment and tips! Thinking about it now, usually we do spread out the curtains. Lol every time we setup/tear down we make small mistakes like that (even after 2 years)! Happy camping!!!

Yeah about an hour to setup and bring down, same as my coleman. Also coleman had hinge the bed leg support to the underneath of bed, which save one step to move them under mattress. Also coleman had the door flip downward as entrance step. Save another minute.

I'm really interesting in purchasing one of these. Overall how do you like it?

Hey, it’s amazing! Deff recommend getting one. A lot better than sleeping in a tent, despite the extra setup time. Plus it extends the camping season (heated mattresses help). The only regret is not getting one with a hot water tank. Sometimes it’s difficult doing dishes with cold water and we need to heat it with our coffee machine.

Maybe a hard question, it need safety support because the steel cable is one single long cable drive by pulley to crank the top. Not 4 separate cable drive by winfletree, can you advise my guess is correct.

Hey, sorry but I’m not sure about that

I did some research, it is single cable pushing spring design, this is the video of replacing broken cable.
      ruclips.net/video/NJSdViizg2w/видео.html
That answer my own question of safety support:
In a single cable spring design. if the cable snap fail the roof fall on your head, LOL, so safety pillar is needed.
In a 4 cable system (coleman), chance of all 4 cable fail is almost 0. And one cable fail will make the roof stuck with the corner down, everything jammed, and you can't lower roof, but it is safe, coz you stuck there. no safety pillar needed.

Interesting! Thanks for checking and the response. We always make sure to put the 2 safety pillars, and now we know why! Happy camping :)
