Its unfortunate that the dash is largely unchanged. This should have been the time to update it to reflect the new design language, similar to the Q3, Q7 and Q8. The velcro arrached tabet look is unacceptable.
Just totaled the 17..hit a deer and drove the 21 last night. Came away impressed and am comparing it to the 21 BMW X3 and Mercedes.... what is your take on all 3. Thanks.
I’m a fan. I drive the 2014 sline and it’s been great. 0-60 is the same. 20inch wheels make a huge difference for handling. The new interior is stunning as usual. A solid value in my mind.
I have a 2020 q5. The sports seats ruin it, its impossible to get a comfortable setup with the lumbar supports. Worst car seats I have come across, I miss my 2018 model ! I hope they have addressed this.
I agree with Jim P......should have updated the dash and gotten rid of the add on display, it was time for a change like the Q3. I very much like the styling, nice job on the outside, poor job on inside.
That throw up Green is hideous. I wish they kept the MMI knob and add touch screen. My biggest question is I wonder if it’s still suffers turbo lag like its predecessor
Love this new Audi. However I’m going to test drive the new 2022 Genesis GV70 and then test drive this one to see which one I like best. Either one will be great!
god they still have fake exhaust WHY?!?! I can see the bottom shotting real exhaust. The guy talks about the exhaust pipes but they are not actual exhaust pipes, just decor
It is still the same ugly looking car Audi is refusing to re-designed. I don't know why they are saying new design. Interior and exterior look similar to former version. Q3 look more agressive than this old turtle.
I like this vehicle and Audi could win me back from Mercedes if they equip the car with AutoHold... I'm so used to using in my car that its a "must-have" in future cars.
Arkadiusz Cornelius totally disagree. It’s about time car makers offered a greater variety of colours. I LOVE this, but green is my favourite colour. Just shows you how subjective colour preferences are. But it’s great that they are offering more than grey, white, silver, red, black, and blue. So boring in my opinion. To each their own.
Sounds like you have something that needs to be looked at. I have a 2013 Q5 Premium Plus since day one ( I'm the original owner) and I have no such problem...what so ever...
Well get it looked at you jackass, there's obviously something wrong there and it's likely a simple fix - possibly caused by an incompetent mechanic as we the case for me.

I have a 2018 SQ5 and the .4 second improvement 0-60 has me jealous. The refresh is sexy!
I’m deciding between the w5 Quattro and the Tesla y. Audi seems expensive with insurance and maintence costs. No?

X3 is excellent but I did feel the 20 Q5 drove better. Haven't tested the refreshed 21 but should be similar.
Just configurated my new Q5 and will order son. They have 21" available, too
looks a whole lot better than the 2017 to 2020 predecessor and that green paint is fab!

the regular q5 USA model doesnt even look like this :/ the SQ5 does... according to audiUSA website, the 21 Q5 has the same front grill as the q7
We have had a 13, now 17...The 21 looks great and the power increase and refinements will be appreciated. Great review

Very unfortunate that American car makers can't make anything even close to this. Audi, BMW and Lexus are everywhere on the road.

The fake exhaust outlets look more convincing. I just hope the SQ5 gets functional exhaust outlets. Overall, this is a nice update.

Still the Q5 exterior design does not look as pleasing and elegance when compare to Volvo XC60.
It does have auto hold, I have the 2018, and it is already featured in it.
There’s a button behind the electric gear shifter for Auto Hold. I’m used to that feature. plus the electric brake is right there too.
So whoever chose this color to be the official color for the presentation of facelifted Q5 should definitely get fired

Never, and I mean NEVER buy an Audi! I have a 2013 q5 and it uses a quart of oil every 400 miles! Total junk!
