No matter how many Nightwish songs you listen to, this band surprises you with every new song. If you ask which song is the best, it's always the one you're listening to... if you ask which song is bad, you won't find a single one to this day. As a writer of ghost stories, I highly recommend Nightwish "Ghost River" from this same Wacken 2013 concert. And Emppu Vuorinen is a phenomenal guitarist whose playing always serves the song. There are no egos in this band of virtuoso musicians. The genius behind the band is songwriter and keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen
Yes, Tuomas is the mastermind genius and everyone in this band is great. But I always want to lift little bit a guitarist Emppu, who is as good as it gets kind of musician.

As you mention Pink Floyd you should listen to their tribute to Pink Floyd as they do a tribute song to PF, High Hopes. This was done in 2005 and features their bassist Marco. It is PF, but with a Nightwish flavor.
One suggestion for an album version song would be the animated fan video, made official by the band, for " The Crow, the Owl and the Dove". This was during the Annette era, very moving artwork imho. One of my favorite songs with her on vocals. Better yet! HALLOWEEN IS COMING! Scaretale official video with Annette as well! Btw, i do not prefer Annette over either Tarja or Floor, but do greatly respects the songs she truly owns in her own right.

Unfortunately, Nightwish also has idiot fans. Bassist Marko Hietala unfortunately left the band in 2021. Before Nightwish, he founded the band Tarot with his brother, where the two are also the lead singers and play heavy metal: TAROT - Wings Of Darkness (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO) After his retirement, he actually didn't want to make music anymore. But now he's touring with Nightwish's first singer and playing prog metal: MARKO HIETALA - Left On Mars (feat. Tarja Turunen) (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO)
She had ear plugs in to soften the sound. This concert was very loud, it had to be to reach the 82,000 people there.

Yes, I agree. As an classical humble gentleman with good humor, Emppu-guitarist never seems to over-do-it. And he really is very melodic.
