- In this video I have to repair a beautiful vintage Tudor Submariner 7021 dive watch. The Bezel has some issues and the ETA caliber inside this Rolex case needs a good service. Hopefully this vintage Tudor Submariner will run better after a little restoration

Incredible service video of a 7021 Tudor Submariner! Thank you for sharing. As an owner of a vintage 7021 I was thrilled to watch this video! Thank you!
Thank you. It is a great watch
Highly interesting, thank you so much for sharing👍. Thank god for watchmakers like you who are able to keep our ticking treasures running 🙏
Thank you for your comment
Great video, I know nobody asked me, but that movement is not from Tudor, everything other than the rotor weight is a basic eta cal, Tudor always has gold incablocs or kifs on balance, and has Tudor branding on top of the plate under the dial. Some watchmaker at some point might have swapped it, and even went extra miles to perlage the plates on this one. Auto module plate carry engravings as well.
He said it’s an ETA
Beautiful!
Thank you
You are my favorite watch repair channel! I look forward to all of your videos, thank you!
Wow, thanks!
One of my favorite Tudors and divers of all time. Tudor needs to bring this exact model back but with all the upgrades. Some say that’s the Pelagos 39, and while it looks somewhat like it, it’s not the same. I was shopping for one but good examples are all around $10k. That’s more than I’m willing to pay for an old diver
Senseless pricing
Yes they are very expensive
Tres bien monsieur..another great service to a vintage Tudor. Love the Tudors.. Kudos
Glad you like them!
روووووعة. انت بارع في عملك😂
Awesome video and production quality!! Had no idea about Tudor’s history and may start looking at them .. thank you for posting
Thanks for watching!
La plus jolie des Tudor 😍😁super révision comme d’hab’🤓⏱️😉👌🏻
Merci bien
Hey dude you seem to have fallen off the radar very suddenly and your website is no more. I hope all is well with you and your family!!! lets us know you are okay 🙏
I will explain soon
Stunning work. I love the Tudor watches
Me too I love the vintage Tudor
@@FrenchWatchCollectorexactly. And such a history
Lovely product and a great history@@moboei
Yes Perfect, imagine the value of it was an M.N issued watch. Keep well from New Zealand 🇳🇿
Yes it would be much higher
Very instructive video! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
J'adore comment tu traduis les expressions françaises littéralement. 😀
I bought one of these around 2006 for £750. I loved the watch and had it serviced. It ran fine but after a couple of years was losing 30 sec per day. I was concerned that in the future it may become impossible to get parts. This particular calibre was exclusive to Tudor. If I'm correct this model of Tudor only ran until about 1975. So a very short production run. I foolishly sold the watch around 2008 for £1000. Big mistake.
Yes that was a big mistake but who knew it will increase that much
Fantastic service and beautiful watch restoration.
Many thanks!
That watch reference is a 9411/0 and the earliest watch was made in 1976
It was 7021 on the case
@@FrenchWatchCollector then that would be the correct year. I forgot about that reference.

Lovely work on the tudor!
👍
Thank you for sharing this excellent video: 👍👌👏. My other favorite watch repair channel (Vintage Watch Services) also worked on a Tudor this week, so they must have something going for them.
Vintage Tudor are nice. I have more to come with old Tudor
Glad for you that you have work coming in. It is just that I do not even like Rolex. So the poor man's Rolex - Tudor - is not going to fascinate me. I am more into complications and am still waiting to see a perpetual calendar serviced on RUclips, though not the "perpetual" that Rolex have advertised for the last 70 years or so 🤪🤪🤪. They are just automatic watches ...@@FrenchWatchCollector
@@ygrbooks I would like to do a perpetual calendar too. Pretty rare to come by. Personally I love chrono calibers
Nice job. When will you properly introduce us to your new tool, the blower? I think we would all find this very interesting.
I can do that in the next video
Cool workplace you have👌
Thank you
Beautiful watch!
Agreed!
@@FrenchWatchCollector I am trying to send my Heuer Autavia to you for repairs/service, hope to see the video of your fine work!
Great work as always !
However I don’t believe that watch is original. The balance assembly has been replaced (kif & incabloc). Also the movement is missing the Tudor branding on the dial side
Yes I saw as well the difference in the shock system. After it is just an ETA caliber so you can replace it with a lot of parts if something is broken
Great Work :)
Thanks 🙂

Hi, this grease graphite that you use is Mobius or something else if you can explain a little bit about it.
Yes it is from mobius

How often should I service my 14060m I have had since 05? I recently got it serviced this past summer and I wear it everyday and sometimes I wear my BB58 but the sub stays on pretty much all day everyday. How often should I get this BB58 serviced if I wear it every now and again?
I would say every 8 years for the bb and maybe 6 for the Rolex. After the real judge is the timegrapher. It will tell if your watch needs a service or not
Thank you very much for the information. It is well needed because I hadn’t serviced my 14060m in almost 20 years and noticed it would stop from time to time but after service it is like new. Ok, last question. What should the time grapher read for the 14060m and the BB58 if all is well?
@@Kalmar917 the most important is the amplitude. Below 250 240 degrees on a full wind it needs a service. After you can look at the beat error and time keeping but it can be adjusted.
@@FrenchWatchCollector
Thanks again and I have subscribed and enjoying your videos! Keep up the good work.
Thank you@@Kalmar917
Maybe this is an ETA cal 2789
Yes it is
Those finger cots looks like they've been worn to change a transmission before servicing this watch lol. Ewww
