The most-watched episode of the series, with 37.88 million viewers, aided by a lead-in from Super Bowl XL, 2006. I DON'T OWN either this video or the audio.
I personally think Hannah held up pretty well for such a young girl on her second(or first day) on the job, she was scared but she was handling it ok until the dude decided "hey I know I got a good idea I'll tell this terrified girl who's holding a bomb that you turn into pink mist when bombs blow up and that sometimes they never find the pieces" and then proceeded to fuck off. Leaving her alone, terrified and with a horrific story to dwell on it's no surprise she snapped!
Is no one gonna talk about how Meredith stuck her hand next to a BOMB to save everyone in the hospital. If she hadn’t had done that the whole hospital would have exploded because the room was over the oxygen line that led throughout the building. They explained this in the next episode so no one should be a mad at Meredith for doing this they should be extremely thankful.
Except she didn’t actually do anything. If Hanna *was* preventing the bomb from going off, then it would take meta-human levels of speed and precision to swap hands like that. In fact it was a miracle that *she* didn’t set off the bomb by touching it again.
@@RealCoolstriker64 they explained it earlier in this scene (in this video) that since it was homemade, they couldn't even tell if it was a dud or if it would actually explode. If it was one professionally made by the government or something, yeah of course it would blow immediately. Then later on in the episode, when the guy walks away with the bomb, it makes sense why it took a while for it to go off.
A bazooka round cant blow up a hospital if the bazooka round went off it be mostly that room or 2 rooms damaged and broken glass if they made the while hospital go boom its effects
"I am 22 years old. I should not even be in here. This is some kind of mistake." -- This scene/two episodes are Sooo Good. Great acting, especially by Christina Ricci as the scared 22 year old paramedic that's afraid to die. And Meredith's - "I am NOT leaving her." Really enjoyed watching this show back then.
Ok but can we talk about the moment we’re Burke says he can’t leave his responsible for Meredith and Cristina like he cares for them and then Cristina won’t leave we best friend cause that was amazing
This shows how suicidal Meredith was. Everyone made a hit for the deck but she took over Hannah's place which was the last place anyone wanted to be in.
I hate how they tried to make her LOOK suicidal. Some people are just kind and selfless like that. Jumping in front of a bullet of a stranger isn’t out of the norm.
In this situation- use a bendable drill line, and with a VERY sharp bit, drill down 2 mills and pump in water that's salted to capacity. The salt will jam the gears in place, and if there's and oxidizer it'll neutralize it (mostly) that's how the British defused bombs they couldn't decipher in WW2.
Meridith figured if the pressure of Hannah's hand was what kept the bomb from going off. If that pressure was removed prematurely, the bomb would've gone off and no amount of duck and covering would've protected her from the oxygen flowing into that room that would've leveled everyone and everything in that building. Meridith wasn't suicidal; she did what she had to do to save everyone.
I feel so bad for Hannah. She was just a paramedic and this was one of the (if not THE) first big jobs she was involved in and she had to hold a live bomb inside a patient or else the whole hospital could explode. Not to mention that the anesthesiologist FLIPPING LEFT HER when she needed someone the most! Honestly, I cannot blame her for panicking and leaving like that. How would you feel in her situation??? I’m just happy that someone came in to help her (even if it was just to take over to put her out of that situation) before she let go. To me, she was stronger than anyone else during the operation and she did the right thing, given her circumstances. She realized she was scared and panicking but decided to stay until someone else (who was CALMER than she was) could take her place. If she stayed, I think it would’ve led to more bad than good. Sometimes the best thing to do in a situation like this is to let someone else carry the load for you when you’re at your limit. Heck, that’s why when more than one person is performing CPR on someone, they switch out every two minutes even if they aren’t tired - so that physical (and mental) stamina can be preserved if they need it sooner/later. Also, please keep in mind that I’m not in the medical field AT ALL. 😅 I’m just sending my piece into the comments section and awaiting further (maybe philosophical) discussion. All I ask is to not be hateful - even if this is a TV show.

It makes sense to panic, but running away knowing everyone else could die was pretty selfish. Fear is one thing. But the guilt of their responsibility over having everyone else die would have naturally been something one would consider too. Unless she didn’t feel she had to think about that or she was too dumb to even think so. Real medical professionals may have done differently. Panic, fear and being absolutely terrified takes over any rational thought process, and I'm sure even in the real world professionals would have their breaking points!
Didn't the round come from a Bazooka? So the explosion wouldn't be that bad at all- it would just shoot a stream of molten copper, because it's a WW2 shaped charge...
I hate to be that person, but I would have stopped worrying about the guy on the table a long time before this. Like, he has a massive gaping wound with a dang rocket inside of it. I’d prioritize the handling of the explosive for the sake of saving the many who could be hurt or killed over keeping him alive. Probably why I’m not in the medical field.
I’d just pull my hand out, there’s no way I’m standing there with my hand inside a person, I’d give the others a warning like “3,2,1” then I yank it out so they can get to cover
The ending should be the elevator opened with Meredith having a traumatized look while Christina is supporting her. Not Derek and Preston who was like the heroes. Ghaaad. It’s much more satisfying to see duh!

Hannah is such a mood like I’m getting tf outa here
man just seeing hannah's breakdown throughout the episode was honestly kinda sad
Them leaving her is what made her panic.
I forgot how over dramatic this show was. :) Jeeez!
Didn't the round come from a Bazooka? So the explosion wouldn't be that bad at all- it would just shoot a stream of molten copper, because it's a WW2 shaped charge...
I almost cried to this episode
Nombre de la canción por favor ✨
Joseph Arthur - In the Sun
i wouldn't be surprised if she quit the entire medical field all together after this ordeal
I hate to be that person, but I would have stopped worrying about the guy on the table a long time before this. Like, he has a massive gaping wound with a dang rocket inside of it. I’d prioritize the handling of the explosive for the sake of saving the many who could be hurt or killed over keeping him alive. Probably why I’m not in the medical field.
i havent watched the show, what happened?
My god how is noone takking about how that is not what a bazooka projectile looks, is shaped, does, or os triggered?
I’d just pull my hand out, there’s no way I’m standing there with my hand inside a person, I’d give the others a warning like “3,2,1” then I yank it out so they can get to cover
The ending messed me up. The bomb guy wasnt even a regular character and I cried
He was completely useless
What is the ending
Okay fine. I'll rewatch the series again 🙄
The ending should be the elevator opened with Meredith having a traumatized look while Christina is supporting her. Not Derek and Preston who was like the heroes. Ghaaad. It’s much more satisfying to see duh!
That fact she was crying that she was 22 years old she didn’t wanna die but if Meredith didn’t help she still would have died lol
Music choice is a little odd for the scene
That's the girl from Casper
I'm dead lol
Yup
Funniest series ever. Cant stop laughing 😂😂😂.
Who was leaving too?
This show is so extra w
Is that Christina Ricci?
Yes
Give me some McDonald’s and something to watch and I would be good
They stopped Ambu-ing for like 2 minutes there?
how in the world is she 22 and already a paramedic?
Grey's: Shut up & watch
I don't know about all of you, but would not want to be in that paramedic's shoes.
1:40 song?
