great boat, but the whole point of an airboat is so there are no low hanging rudders to get caught on stuff when you run something over. keep up the great work man you are great motivation for me!
Yup, airboats are steered with multiple rudders mounted behind the propellers. With the flat bottoms they can even cross short stretches of swampland that are slightly above water level, as long as their are no obstructions that can rip out the bottom.

You build everything and I've seen a lot of your videos . It seems like to me that you have all the right things around when you start making your project. Most of us have to go out and buy the things or come up with odds and ends to build our projects. You are completely set up. Shop and all. So it seems to me that you have a lot of help getting your videos and projects out on line. Thank you. God Bless

Everything is so simple if you break it down step by step, I feel like if you gave me all these materials I could now also make that boat, great video I loved it!!
The hull design seems to be a limiting factor. I'm no expert, but a slightly bigger and flatter hull would make it more efficient, IMO. Also, if the motors were made to pivot, you wouldn't need a rudder hanging below the bottom of the hull. Or have rudders behind the props like a standard airboat. I like the build, though. I spend too much time agonizing over measuring and fitting when I build stuff; this guy seems to do a lot just eyeballing things.

I think this boat would get stuck in the everglades if it went over a huge patch of algae. Just not enough power. Still fun to drive and to say you built your own boat. Also very portable!
Still can make it much better, 1) Rust ( or ) Holes easily get in few days, 2) If Rain comes ? Cover u r boat , 3) Wear Life jacket 4) u hv made Handle exLator on wood pad, change it or make it save 4m rain, 5) Also cover MCB make u r self 4m electric shock.
Nice work! However, the whole idea of an airboat is to go in very shallow water with weeds. Your rudder prevents that. The propellers could be wired to run only the outside on one side only to steer. OR, wire in the ability to reverse one side or the other while staying in forward on the opposite side. Lose the rudder! Manage the airflow to steer the boat.

10 inches prop is too big for brush high speed motors. you have low efficiency with high current drains. put gearbox on them and you have much more trust
@@abdulkader5470this brushed motor's rpm is around 20000 rpm With low torque. If they were brushless, it would be better. Or larger propeller with a gearbox. If you listen to the sounds of engines, you will find that by turning on all engines. How much power is drained from the battery and the battery is drained quickly. maybe they're lower than 7000 rpm. This means efficiency is below 20%. however maybe only 2 motors with small prop under water make this bout faster and longer range
