He knows I’m not good at math very much and he always gets mad when I fail. His temper is terrifying to me,when he yells at me it scared me ever since I was young. My mom and him would always fight and it screwed me up later on and left me broken because no one ever was by my side since I was “too young.” They pushed me aside and gave attention to my older brother because he was older and understood more,they didn’t realize how much it would affect me later on. I feel like no one watching hates homelander really because half of us watching the boys had a rough childhood or bad parents. It’s nice how we can feel bad for homelander and understand his traits instead of just calling him a maniac.

if u may wonder why didnt homelander just kill butcher in so many scenes where they are alone , is because homelander is so damn lonely and the idea of his rival being gone so soon was not the best for him as he in the end, understood and got to feel a sense of familiarity from the also lonely butcher ....

Homelander's action can NEVER be excused. But the stuff he's been through as a child. Imagine, being experimented on, being manipulated, mentally and physically tortured, made to endure massive amounts of stress as if you were just an object. He was seen as nothing but a product. They failed to realize that what they were making was far more complex than just a weapon, they played with a human being. I do hope Homelander does get a peaceful end, he just needs someone to talk to, be comfortable with, and just genuine love and appreciation.
