And I would have gotten her on video and uploaded it for the world to see. As I get older I’m less tolerant and put my foot down more. Karma will catch up with her. Danni I have had the same thing happen to me numerous times. I'm getting where I don't want to even go thrifting anymore. I'm not arguing or fighting with anyone over stuff. I've been shoved out of the way and people grabbing for stuff right in front of me that I was looking at. If they need it bad enough then they can have it. Most likely that lady was waiting for you to put the other glasses back. A similar situation happened to me but I had half the set in my cart already and she tried to grab them from my cart and the lady wouldn’t stop following me the rest of the time I was in there. I reported her when I checked out and she was banned for trying to snatch stuff out of people’s hands. I’m very sorry this happened to you

Has a similar experience with a dress. The lady literally put her hands on the dress and said, " I'll take that for you." I said no Thank you, I'm buying it. She proceeded to follow me around the store and then I handed the dress to my husband and he went and paid for it while I finished shopping. .... I still wear that dress to this day! 1970's patchwork dress.

We can’t help having a gentler perspective; It is just who we are but I believe you like I have to try to not let those people like your glass snatcher today upset and wound us like they do. They don’t deserve that power over us. I know it’s hard to understand how others can be so randomly mean and not care a wit and sometimes seem to enjoy themselves while doing so but it is a very unfortunate fact we sometimes have to face. It really, really stinks. I just want to encourage you to try try to be rubber and they can be glue and their bad energy can just bounce off of you and stick right back on them. : )
Buy the best clear glass and save, you know glass.. when colored falls out of trend and most clear destroyed, corner the market. IF u know anything about trends, they always resurrect. The Goodwill loves to separate items by product type instead of keeping sets together. I find myself gathering up same pattern items and running from shelf to shelf to combine on many different occasions. Makes sense the items will sell better together. About 8 months ago, I was considering buying a whole China set. In order to see what was there, I combined all of the matching items in one spot. One customer commented on how pretty the set was. As I was putting the entire set of China in my cart (probably 80 pieces), another woman walked up and grabbed the soup tureen. I told her I was buying the entire set. Her response, "It's not in your cart, so I'm taking it." I argued that it was part of the entire set I was buying. She put it in her cart, and walked away. Along comes the first customer that was admiring...she grabbed that soup tureen from that women's cart, and said "This is hers!", referring to me! She put it in my cart, and off she went! Karma is a b...h!
I was looking at a thanksgiving table cloth which was beautiful and this lady said to me wow I wish I would have found that it would be perfect for her dinner set . I let her have it . She was so happy. I don’t like being mean to anyone it just makes me feel ugly. I want to feel happy and joyful. Be happy everyone

We can’t help having a gentler perspective; It is just who we are but I believe you like I have to try to not let those people like your glass snatcher today upset and wound us like they do. They don’t deserve that power over us. I know it’s hard to understand how others can be so randomly mean and not care a wit and sometimes seem to enjoy themselves while doing so but it is a very unfortunate fact we sometimes have to face. It really, really stinks. I just want to encourage you to try try to be rubber and they can be glue and their bad energy can just bounce off of you and stick right back on them. : )
Buy the best clear glass and save, you know glass.. when colored falls out of trend and most clear destroyed, corner the market. IF u know anything about trends, they always resurrect. The Goodwill loves to separate items by product type instead of keeping sets together. I find myself gathering up same pattern items and running from shelf to shelf to combine on many different occasions. Makes sense the items will sell better together. About 8 months ago, I was considering buying a whole China set. In order to see what was there, I combined all of the matching items in one spot. One customer commented on how pretty the set was. As I was putting the entire set of China in my cart (probably 80 pieces), another woman walked up and grabbed the soup tureen. I told her I was buying the entire set. Her response, "It's not in your cart, so I'm taking it." I argued that it was part of the entire set I was buying. She put it in her cart, and walked away. Along comes the first customer that was admiring...she grabbed that soup tureen from that women's cart, and said "This is hers!", referring to me! She put it in my cart, and off she went! Karma is a b...h!
I was looking at a thanksgiving table cloth which was beautiful and this lady said to me wow I wish I would have found that it would be perfect for her dinner set . I let her have it . She was so happy. I don’t like being mean to anyone it just makes me feel ugly. I want to feel happy and joyful. Be happy everyone

one good thing about the white ones is you can spray paint them any color. Like pink for a little girl's room. we would buy it to paint in the late 70s.
