A relative of mine had same illness...it can really keep you a prisoner within your own home. She would be ok with me because she knew I would protect her. Once, some witch tried to intimidate her, saying she had bumped her with her cart...had not happened. I came up to this bully and told her to get out of OUR way, rolled my cart between her and my timid relative. When she continued her tirade, yep, she suddenly DID get bumped for real...in ankle bone! While she was hopping around yelling...I got my little sweet lady relative to the cash register and out to our car...she laughed and told me I was so brave. I told her she could relax, nobody was messing with HER while I was with her. I took her anywhere she wanted or needed to go. She totally relaxed and enjoyed "our times"....and I loved her sweet, gentle spirit.
Thank you for telling us about your anxiety/agoraphobia. I suffer from a mild form of it and have to push myself to go to stores. We always feel like we're the only one until someone else shares their story. I think you've helped a lot of viewers today.
Thank you Danni. I was the same for years. High anxiety about the same. I am doing better. I am going out but it does creep back into my head. But i breath through it.
Your videos are so light and chill, which is so nice to watch. I’m having trouble leaving home currently so this helps scratch the thrifting itch a bit!
When I'm really torn about whether or not to buy something, I leave it on the shelf, and if I'm still thinking about it when it's time to check out, I take that as a sign that I'd regret not buying it. I've learned though, that if it's extra busy at the store, it's better to put it in your cart and later make the decision whether to put it back. If not, you risk someone else snapping it up.
I'm a 'first-timer' and I loved this video! Your narrative is informative, interesting and you provide lots of stuff to look at. This Goodwill displays were surprisingly very well done and you purchased some great items. Thank you for sharing!
This is the Cleanest Goodwill I have ever seen! I have been to all neighborhoods where I live & it is dust, dirt and grime - everywhere. Went yesterday, touched as little as possible, hands where covered in grime on exit. And you say this is a "bad" neighborhood!
New subscriber here, wanted to acknowledge and voice to you how proud I am that you are able to get out and feel free to wander outside of your home. I can relate to you, I was like that for about six years, very difficult to function when everything you need to accomplish and finish your tasks with art out there in the world. Very frightening but so glad that you as well have accomplished so much. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos and getting to know you as well.
Hi Danni! I'm so glad you pushed through and educated, entertained us during your solo shopping experience. It was a crappy day but this made it a good day!!!
yes i totally understand the anxiety. Been there, done that. Just remember one step at a time. i would make my sisrer go driving with me so i could pull over if i had to. Much better now.
Thank you so much for sharing this and your struggles. Im only 29 and the last few years I hardly leave the house and it gives me so much anxiety. Something I'm working to pushy through! I just started thrifting for a profit and I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone.
Love your videos. I always feel like I am there with you!!! Off from work recovering from breast cancer surgery and thank you for the entertainment! I love to thrift!!
Thank you for sharing your anxiety. I am so very great fun because, it is a great help to see your beautiful and enthusiastic friendly smile. God continue to bless you and keep you strong, always. We 😍.
That turned out to be a great Goodwill! I think you’re very brave - first, to push the boundaries of your comfort level and, second, to share with us. But look what you accomplished! You found a wonderful new place (with great stuff!) and you connected with your followers in a whole new way. And now when you get that feeling, you can remind yourself of how this experience turned out and that you’re not alone - we’re there with you in spirit. 💕🌸💕
Thrilled to have found you! First time here & I subscribed! I feel “ in tune” with your personality and adore the way you ended the video with the prices you paid and the values of the pieces! Thanks a million!!!🥰
always love these videos im learning so much thank you . that 500 dlly plate set brings back memories my Mom has that whole set still, butt they stay in the chabnet unless its Thanksgiving or a diner party.
I really like how you put the price of things and then your asking price. Thank you for that, that gets me excited about selling. It’s a very thoughtful touch to your video. 🌟Lee
Min 5:49 I love that 🌴 picture, more so the frame than anything.. Those dog dishes tip over so easy.. I've had them.. You passed a few great pictures on those end caps. Min 28:00 Oh that tea pot set.. I love it. I've been looking at them and trying to price mine from my childhood. I want to give mine to my Granddaughter.. That's $500. For the gold trim etc. Mines a child size.
The store in Tomball TX is also very clean and they play music of the '60s and 70's in the background 👌 HOWEVER... comparing to prices in CANADA, prices in USA are much higher.
Thanks for the critique. It reminded me of my trip to the Salvation Army yesterday. I always check the maker mark and leave the chips behind, steer away from glass, etc.
Heya Danni good thrift today ..The beautiful made in China box also now includes Hong Kong and some of the best stationery in the world comes from Hong Kong so some of the best penmanship also..I think ur on to a winner with it ..😉🙃

I have been agoraphobia since my son was killed by a drunk driver. He was 20 yrs old. You are a loving mother that has given me some inspiration to go outside. You beat this stuff. Maybe I can.
So sorry for your loss!! I really dislike drunk drivers!! They never get hurt!! I can imagine what you must be going through!! Hod bless you and your son!! 😢🙏🙏🙏🙏💙💙💙💙💙❤️❤️❤️❤️
Because if I bought everything that would sell for a profit I would never ever get it all listed! Sticking to a niche helps me stay focused, know my price range and attract the best clientele to my store.
I love to go to the thrift stores in bad areas for the same reason you said! Not everyone will be brave enough to go into those places. The prices are usually more reasonable because they are not spending outrageous amounts of money in rent for the building so it keeps their cost lower. Great video, new subscriber here.
I'm proud of you venturing out on your own. You did well. Let this prove to you and to your family and friends that you can do anything you want to do. You have a very strong mind and God is guiding you too...I promise. ...I'm glad you got the button-flag art...this is someone's art project and it looks outstanding. ...I wish you had gotten the very dear father & son statue with father & son sitting on the ground all joyous and happy. Many statues like this feature mothers but never fathers, never ever often enough. I'd love to have it to symbolically represent my youth when my father let me sit in his lap all the time...my Papaw was the same way...I miss them both so much. ...If you ever see that statue again then think of me! I consider it priceless! ...I look forward to discovering your channel...new subscriber here.
I will honestly say I don't have a real good connection with father/child items. I tend to veer away from anything that is father related. I need to remember not everyone shares my experience. Thank you.
@@TheNICHELady I'm so sorry. I didn't know you had an experience that appears to be very negative. In college I studied religion for 2 years and my major was psychology. My experiences in those fields of ambition led me to meeting several folks who suffered at the ill will of very cruel people. I pray you have/are receiving counseling. Please know that you are always the good person...cruel people who act in such ways deserve major punishment. ...Dear God, comfort this wonderful woman who brings joy to others. Thank you, God/ In your name I pray.
@@TheNICHELady I pray you receive good counseling and have good family support. My dearest Aunt Vena would tell you how all men and all fathers aren't created equally. I spoke with Aunt Vena especially in concern. Aunt Vena married Uncle Barry and they are the happiest couple that I know and now have grandchildren. Aunt Vena knows that her past ordeal doesn't destroy her present life. Aunt Vena sees men as just men and fathers as just fathers...she has a son who is a father now and a son-in-law who is the father of her 2 grandchildren. Aunt Vena never allows her past ordeal win the game of life...it only hurt her more she once said to think that "he" might haunt her forever. "He" is dead now and became dead to her long before his life ended. I pray such peace can be yours. "He" doesn't deserve to destroy other parts of your life.
Wow! I can't believe how nice that Goodwill store is put together! The one close to me looks like the worst garage sale anyone has ever visited! No organization, no displays... everything is just hung on rows and rows of messy clothes racks! I have yet to find anything there worth buying! You've given me the incentive to check out other stores! Maybe the one close to me is the exception and not the rule? I have hope now! Thanks for braving the unknown for us! 👍♥️👍
Victorian Trading used to carry that tall narrow frame and according to their description it was when a couple split up they would cut the picture right down the middle and get rid of the other one lol! I can’t remember what they called it though… Lovers quarrel 🤔something like that… I would’ve totally scooped that up 💯 I’m pretty sure it was a reproduction of a Victorian era frame
Really enjoyed this video. N loved that you put what you paid n value at the end. I thought that was a nice Goodwill. Nicer then the ones I've been in. In the past though. To be fair. Love your positive personality.
This really is a great Goodwill. Just watched your video from early Oct.where you and Jordan visited with all their Halloween items. Great marketing techniques there.
The prices in California are about five times more on smaller items and ten times more on the dishes than I would pay here at my local Goodwill so I can't complain about the price increases because of the Covid-19 lock down.
I've been doing some thrusting myself in the funny thing is I have found some limos items and they're beautiful but I don't care what it looks like as long as it's in good condition and it goes with what I have I've also found a lot of a talion pieces that people just overlook because they're small and they are just beautiful. I don't do this for profit nor did I do it to sail I'm just doing it because I enjoy
Wow first time I have ever seen a Guam anything (22:00) in a RUclips video! LoL no value on the mug but considering the huge Guamanian community in CA I would have expected to see more. Happy Shopping!
I enjoyed thrifting "with you." We see different things; you passed over some stuff I wished you'd picked up. Good thing we're all different, huh? I appreaciated the values you listed at the end.
Good job on getting out of your comfort zone! It’s hard to do! Where were you in San Diego? I found a handmade quilt the other day at Amvets on Southerland st. for $6!

Looks like the prices are better at this Goodwill then other Goodwills, that’s great.
We pick up similar items so just FYI I do well selling those under cabinet lights. Maybe not your “niche” but being a reseller why not.
Because if I bought everything that would sell for a profit I would never ever get it all listed! Sticking to a niche helps me stay focused, know my price range and attract the best clientele to my store.
I have that Royal Albert set. It was a fair price. But a lot to dish out at once.

I was hoping you will leave the Susan Miller metal frame for me. jiji good catch
