I am a retired vet asst and used to work for a vet who was an International Gecko expert so we handled LOTS of tortoises. I even had a malformed Snapping Turtle till he got bigger and I found him an awesome home! Love turtles/tortoises and all animals really. Cats are my absolute favs though. That coffee mug you got fits me to a tee! I Love your videos but I really love seeing your critters...they are all so cute! When I was a newer seller you taught me so much about glass, shipping glass, packing it, buying it...you name it. I really appreciate how you teach and share your knowledge. Very generous. Thank you!

Hi Danni, Something similar to your situation with that shopper happened to me recently. The lady I was dealing with was nicer but she wanted something that I had picked up and put in my carriage . She said to me, "I was going to buy that item but my hands were full...so I went and got a carriage and came back to get that." So, I just reached into my carriage and grabbed the item she wanted and handed it to her. She was surprised. I told her that since she saw it first then she should have it and there is plenty to go around. She was happy and I felt good. After watching you and other thrifters shopping and seeing the never-ending amount of merchandise out there...there really is enough for all of us. Let that incident just roll off your back. You're a beutiful generous person. And you give so much to so many people and so many people love you. Focus on that love...it's a positive thing. 😍
My son lives in Tucson and has several turtles and tortoises that he’s rescued through his work. They are so much fun. She goes to an organic store and gets bags of produce that they just throw out. She’s got chickens too and they love that stuff
I like your new rule! OMG! I do the same thing with putting out of place merchandise back in their rightful place or putting pairs or sets back together. FYI- if you are ever shopping apparel and see Chico's brand, their sizing goes 1 2 3 not 6 8 10. I ALWAYS find Chico's in the small sizes even if they are a 3 which is XL.

Just have to tell you I love your presentations, the genuineness of yourself that you present and your delightfully happy personality. Thank you for the joy! My son had 2 Russian turtles, Chubo and Shelly (his kids named them). He took them outside to enjoy the grass and he turned around and Shelly was gone! She actually got away ... forever! He looked everywhere. She vanished without a trace!!

Hi Danni! I was very happy to see you shopping at Goodwill ~ I just wanted to be in the air conditionned space!! Lol! We have never had such high temps in Western Canada. Yesterday they reported temps higher than Los Vegas! We are not conditionned to the high temps. As to your incident yesterday ~ please let it go! Investing too much time & energy into that person is never a good thing. In Calgary at our big thrift store ~ you will see resellers hanging out all day waiting for new product to be brought out & pouncing all over it! Exciting life they lead! There have been a few altercations! Allowing that incident to affect you as much as it has is not helping you moving ahead. As the Lawyers say "Possession is 9/10 of the law." I have the wooden cannister set, they were from my Gandmother's home and also came with a matching bread box that I didn't take and wish I would have. I still use the set.
God bless you for taking care of these sweet animals…they needed you and you came along. I never saw turtles 🐢 as “warm and fuzzy” pets,” but in a figurative way, I can see now that they really are. I always get misty when I see land that was badly burned or land that’s being cleared for residential or commercial purposes and think of all of the innocent creatures who have lost their homes. Where did they go? Were they able to get out? It always hurts my heart to think about that. 💔
Danni, if I had the room I'd make an offer on the rooster canisters! Love them! But I had to move my small appliances to the ding room/craft-art room which is also full! I am saving for for a curio to showcase some of my Desert Rose. I have a full set (American made).
Love your tortoise 🐢! I rescued box turtles many years ago,I had several who I rehabbed.then I set them free. They all made their way back to my yard. I fed th we m vegetables and meatballs. I had them 15 years. A virus spread and they didn't survive. Great creatures 💚🐢👍
Oh wow! That is so sad. We can not release desert tortoises, the wild tortoises are in danger and the domesticated ones carry diseases to them and further wipe them out.

Not the best quality, but Dollar Tree has some bowls that fit the bowl space perfectly. I have both a black and white one.
