Hi, I read the licenses for Creative Fabrica and if there is info under Download button "Commercial & Full POD usage allowed." you can put the graphic without any changes, but if there is only Basic POD then you need to change something to sell it on products

That is correct- for Creative Fabrica rules- however with Etsy rules you have to tweak the designs to make them your own if you are doing POD there needs to be some sort of creative element coming from the seller. I hope that makes sense! 🙃

According to the new Etsy update/rules, AI is allowed but the seller has to use their OWN prompts which is the creative element. Because of this they are basically saying you need to generate the image yourself and not use CF etc! Or am I wrong on this? Thanks. I’m a bit confused myself as there is still a creative element when you are putting various elements together to make a design.

I believe it is still okay to take a design from Creative Fabrica - however, you must add elements or change the design in some way, adding your own creativity to it and to make it your own intellectual property.
