How cool for Italy to play in Samoa, Tonga and Japan...
Cracking set of fixtures aye
Italy has a very exciting future with their backs
Strong squad for the Italians eh? Good to see
Italy has a very, very good side
Yeah, Gesi is the most surprising absence.
Pricey tour for the Italian union to pay for.
Thankfully Euros convert favourably to NZ Dollars while they're based in NZ 😅
Pretty good side tbh
Some fantastic youth
The Japan game on the 21st will be held in the Sapporo Dome,so not so hot.
Ah that's great 😃
I've been saying this for over an year but... Keep an eye out on that montemauri
The food there has remained a great memory.

The FIGC should now follow in lockstep RE: Youth Movement.
Very difficult tour. Good number of inexperienced players going to play in untested venues. Also leaving a number of decent players out, not just Lamb (l), Gesi (W) and Pani (W/FB), and ageing Allan (FH), Ceccarelli (THP) Bigi (H), and Halafihi (nr.8), but also other injured ones like Manfredi (H) Nemer (LHP), Odogwu (C/W), and Mori (C), all players who will feature going towards 2027. Also not featuring all of the young under 25 props of Zebre like Nocera (THP), Neculai (THP) and Hasa (LHP/THP) the last of which was in the 39 called up initially, and Favretto (5, 6, 8) and Canali (4). The pack remain somewhat lightweight and the depth in many spots is somewhat lackin (LHP, H, L4, 10, 12, 13). Montemauri could go in for Capuozzo (will Toulouse play the final?) as he covers 10 and 15. Expecting this team to train to build at least a decent maul (something lackin since years) and play a controlled game. Fitness of some players could be tested by the 3 opponents.
Why do you call them the forward pack? Surely they are either just the forwards or the pack. It's tautology
It's a common rugby term I guess?

Is that right? Interestingly I had a video suggested to me the other day from an English rugby podcast which was titled "Who starts for England's forward pack?" - maybe they've got a Kiwi working for them 😅
