I have followed the directions both here and on the paper wrapping on fusing . Pick it up and it falls off.

1-does your interfacing say fusible?
2-are you putting the bumpy side up against the fabric?

I have a repair on lined pants. The loosely woven fabric has pulled at the back and side seems. Will fusible interfacing give the woven fabric support if used like a binding?

Do you take the interfacing to the sewing line or close to the edge of the piece as it's cut?

It depends on the fabric - remove from the hemming if bulky fabric

I got the Pellon Fusible Midweight interfacing that's supposed to work for linen, too.. but it's not sticking on. It peels right off 😭

The bumpy or glazed or shiny side (glue side) is put down on the wrong side of the fabric.
