Grieving the loss of my brother who died at 32 in car accident. I'm in pain and God shows me this sweet lady to encourage me. Suffering and pain has brought a deep longing for the King and the heavenly Jerusalem. How Long, O Lord? Come Jesus! But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city. (Hebrews 11:16)
For many years I've followed your testimony thanking God for your witness of His Glory and looking at my life free of pain. Then two years ago, I was stricken with such severe pain that at the wee hours of the morning the most horrendous and debilitating would come in random episodes. The best way to describe it was like lightning up my spine building in intensity with a crescendo that broke me to my knees. There were times when I would pray, " Lord take the pain or take me home." There was no relieve but the outcry to my Savior - calling on the Name of Jesus and singing hymns and songs plus quoting scripture. My favorite scripture became, " My physical health may fail and my spirit grows weak, but God remains the strength of my heart and He is Mine Forever." Psalm 73:26. Joni thank you for your courageous and faithful witness. You have inspired me to draw deeper into the Lord and rely upon Him as the strength and comfort of my body, soul and mind. Thank you and may God keep you in His Loving Care!

I came across your comment at the grief of love ones post here. ☹️That’s so touching and I know how it feels to be lonely without our love ones, we've all loss our love ones in death one way or the other, either a spouse, child, family members, or a true friend that meant the world to us, I truly understand how you feel cos I’ve felt same hard and terrible experiences before but death is just inevitable no matter how hard we try! And we'll all have to face it someday, and every of our love ones we’ve loss will always want to see us happy again wherever they’re okay. I loss my oldest daughter Annabel February 24th 2020 in a crucial car accident, and she just turned 22 on her last birthday before she got knocked down by a moving vehicle 🚗 and so unlucky for me that horrible day the driver was drunk. That was the worst and most lamenting day of my whole life as a single Dad raising two kid's, my 17 years old son Clark and my 4 legged 🐶 families are my everything and the reason I still keep strong, and keep going! My late wife passed away three years ago from a shocking disease, I felt devastated with grief, and I was so heartbroken 💔 but God and time are indeed the best healers. I pray and hope you’ve found peace, comfort and happiness again!
I have pain & suffering but I haven't handled it as courageously as you have, I feel like a coward compared to you. I have faith in Jesus, but oh I wish I had as much faith as you. My pain gets in my way.

Joni, I admire you so much. What I have learned is that the trial is a gift. And you're right where else can we go? Who else has the words of eternal life?
I can so relate to Joni in suffering. Just recently I have told God a couple of times, “I love you.” I too at early stages of being saved asked God to bring me closer to Him and we’ll tragedy happened after that, but I have become closer to Him.
Never got to say goodbye to my only son he died very painful death ...in supposedly rehab but somth went wrong and calls him got no answer calls again he was in agony ..you answered my why ...and bringing me back to life .....thank u Edie....continue to shine your testimonies and empower is to do something for the disabled ...praying for you both and your magnificent ministry .🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️
Thank you, Joni, for your raw honesty. I still weep due to my fear to surrender all to Jesus. But I am encouraged to share those fears with him. I want to be a witness for him. I don't have the gift of a decent voice to raise to him in song. But I can still call out to him. Thank you, again, Joni for your witness.
