Joni is such a hero of mine and has inspired me to suffer more cheerfully and to seek the Lord's help very first thing before getting out of bed. She always inspires me and to have a better perspective on pain and suffering. Thank you for having her on.
Thank you for this! Joni is always inspiring! I don’t have physical pain, but my life has been full of difficulties and hurt. I love to hear her uplifting message. And to the person who thinks she looks tired- I think she looks amazing for being 72 years old! I’m 61 and I’m exhausted. I pray for the endurance that she has had!
Like Job, covered with sores and dust, like Jeremiah, after time in the pit, like Jesus, marred beyond recognition, suffering gives a divine beauty to the faces of those who, though He slay them, trust Him. Its a beauty to be respected and desired. "What? No scars?"
Wonderful Christian encouragement. God bless you Joni! Thank you Jen. Loved hearing what Joni shared, especially what she said about the disciplines, memorising Scripture, especially for the night watches when our natural thoughts can so discourage. "Everything can be sanctified!"
Please tell Joni that Jesus wants her to know that her healing is just around the corner! Hang on to all that you know is true! I have been praying with you and for you for a very long time! Thank you for teaching the Way to The Cross of Jesus! Your life Walk is more of a sermon that Speaks louder than the fear and pain that you carry in your soul through your Daily Intercession! Thank you for carrying such a heavy cross like Jesus!

I think it is easy to look at someone who suffers and say just try to cope, endure embrace the pain ( physical) but you can’t empathize with someone who suffers to the point they cannot function properly. Pain is a life interruptor and it’s too hard to bear when it is severe pain everyday or nearly everyday. It is hard to put on a smile. I just find it’s so easy to tell someone what they should endure when they haven’t had to. I am not referring to Joni, she has endured.
Its very hard to endure, & trust God thru physical suffering, trials & tribulations...it's hard to not question God & say why does everyone elses life look ok & normal. To be alone & have healthcare issues, is very disturbing.. ..knowing you need assistance, & you HAVE no kids to help....... its hard to keep trusting & not get discouraged.....Joni has lots of helpers in her life....alot of others are trying to cope w/ no helpers..
I will pray for you to be strengthened by seeing how Jesus in His suffering can carry you through and give you rest. Lord bless you dear one. He sees and feels your struggles struggles .
How sad that the volume on this is so low that I actually can't hear it. Strange because the adverts interrupting are so LOUD and I can hear every word of those that I am not interested in, but Joni's video - it's hopeless. I literally can't hear one word unless I bend right down and put my ear to the screen and even then can't always make out what is being said. So said because that might be the case for other on here - I don't know.
Joni looks tired and discouraged, no matter how much she tries to look encouraging. She doesn't look happy . When she was younger she looked much "happier' in her suffering.. if there even is such a thing. . wow what a saint. Will God take her home soon? She will surely be one of the happiest in heaven, sitting in the lap of Jesus our Lord...... That's not a position for the many, only the FEW, .
And as someone who suffers with some back pain, I know a little of how hard that road is for her, who cannot even reposition herself. We all need to pray for her as she deals with this pain.
Its not about how a person looks that we can judge how happy they are. Yea, she is getting older but she is way more experienced and mature thus her peace and joy may not be obvious as when young in appearance but its deeper and more simple.
The person on left has a tan or the settings are bringing healthy look and whatever camera Joni has on her today is way too bright thus her skin looks deathly white. Its the difference in lighting. 🎉
I think you misunderstood the whole point she always preaches that JESUS is the source of joy EVEN in suffering ; the joy of God present NO MATTER the circumstances, otherwise your joy is always dependent on good circumstances and everything going well in life, which is a shallow, non guaranteed joy because Jesus said that in this world we would have tribulations but that He had overcome the world and that we should have joy IN HIM. Have a good day
Hallelujah ❤ He is our great deliverer!!!
I’m so grateful to Joni. So deeply grateful for helping me in my suffering. What a beautiful light she is. What a precious, precious woman.

Thankyou for the cross for with it comes joy and peace and above that grace.Thankyou God for Jesus Christ
She and her husband are my heros; don't care how you think she looks.
Joni, I think you look wonderful. You are always so refreshing to listen to, and I see the glory of Yeshua in you every single time.

I cant get through this pain without the help of Jesus!😢
Amen, I hear you.🤍
God bless you and keep you Joni. I hope we meet in heaven one day, after we have served our Lord on earth.

Lord Jesus, thank you for blessing us with another share from Joni, your strong and mighty, faithful warrior.
A prayer is that God would help us regardless of what we are going through. We will get to where we are going if we persist ultimately His kingdom

Every Christian suffers, yes, but some suffer more than others. Only someone who hasn't suffered deeply could think we all suffer to the same degree.
Thank you so much for this, I enjoyed both of you in your chat! God bless you! Glory to god!
This was so encouraging!
Agreed! Joni is such a gift.
Thank you Joni.
We look to Jesus
Emotions just suck 😢 sometimes
She is exhausted !! 2.32, 45.32

Hi, Jen. Could you please share the source for the alcohol and drug misuse/abuse stats in minute 5 or so?
Sure! I believe it's drugabusestatistics.org. The show notes above have all the resources I cite. Hope that helps!
@@Jen-Oshmanthanks so much.
Absolutely! Thank you for listening! @@crlmoore

She is 74 so she is not going to look 40…..

She stated that she was recovering from a respiratory illness. I'm sure her body is tired from fighting this illness. 🙏🙏
She is older now, and had to go through a lot of other health issues as well. Her testimony is very encouraging and inspiring to me.

So true.
Suffering is not the source of joy ,please don't give warped ed and detrimental setmons !!😹
