    Absolutely love your videos Alex, I watch every one of them even after having returned home from VN. Found your stuff back in 2018 and it led me to move to Vietnam over Thailand. Had the adventure of a lifetime up until spring 2019 when I returned home to be closer to family. I wasn’t an English teacher but I bet there are a ton of other people like me who are never NT clients but still have you to thank for their Viet adventures. Thank you for doing what you do and telling the expat story

    What!!!! it is so cheap for a modern nice looking flat. In Mexico, in a big city, it is like 3 or 4 times more expensive for an empty flat that you have to furnish yourself :O !

    This is sooo great. Respect to Vietnam. In Philippines this would be 600 dollars, utilities not included. Plus the city will be super boring with no foreigners. This is so amazing. But I know Vietnam and Thailand have very reasoble rates.

    The best thing is the large rectangular shower head that drops (rather than spray) water down on your head. I love that so so much when I were in VN. It is a different showering experience, a more natural and relaxing experience that is one of those things that make life worth living

    In 1980 I had a studio apartment on the top floor of a house converted to apt's. in Sausalito, CA for 250. a month which included the utilities & cable TV. I wonder what that same place is now? So glad my wife & I moved to north CA and bought back in the 90's because housing is so expensive now. Time to set a spell & just relax...

    That’s the price......4 mill for a studio is standard . No more than 5mill. The testing & quarantine will be around for a long time to come.....so prices will likely get cheaper. Already commercial rents are falling heavily. Supply & Demand.....they’re still building skyscrapers all over Vietnam. In Nha Trang most of the big residential towers are close to empty with more coming.

    • @hungcuongnguyen293
      @hungcuongnguyen293 3 года назад +1

      Tipping is not mandatory in VN . If you liked the service , you could leave about 4 or 5 % of the amount on the bill . It's up to you . In high end restaurants the service is already included in the price . When you take a tour trip , you could give 1 or 2 USD to the tour guide and the driver, if you liked their service . In hotel, you could tip the room ladies 0.5 to 1 USD / night . It's always appreciated
