What a great adventure. I am glad that the places you visited were not over-developed, not teeming with tourists, or having nightclubs all of the place. Safe travels.
Thank you Brother for this blog! I am Vietnamese American currently living in Germany! I have never heard of Quy Nhon but I lived the Buddhist temple and Eo Gio!
Quy Nhơn is super underated. Reason is that it's quite far from economic centers (Hanoi & Saigon). Food is cheap and tasty, people is super nice, scenery is breath taking. My family usually go twice a year to Quy Nhon. Last time we spent 10 days there in a resort and noone wanted to go home.
ye olde bánh hỏi...I like to call it "question cake"...nothing questionable about how good it is though. love that comment about the guy doing aerobics at the end. and Mini Messi was a g. Great video
I was in Quy Nhon since I was 7 or 8 1968 there’s a sugar can bird roasted I never forget the amazing taste of it I hope they still do have that in Quy Nhon now

Dude, I don’t know how you popped up on my view, but that place is awesome! Not over crowded, great beach! I’m subscribed. And, I’m going to visit there with my family 2024. ❤❤❤
Tuy hoa or quy nhon are places that not many people know about in terms of coastal cities. Both places are 30mins away from my hood. Damn it's been so long since ive been back
I've been to Quy Nhon several times. It's Da Nang without the mass tourism. VERY quiet. The town is super clean, voted the cleanest city in Asia, and it shows. It's ok for a couple of weeks, after that it's boring big time. And the airport is miles out of town, with very infrequent bus service, buses run from a travel agency, which usually waits until there are enough passengers. Bus takes over an hour to get to the airport. You are much better off taking the sleeper Bus from Saigon, or the bus from Da Nang, both dropping you off downtown
Wow. I have followed many vloggers in SE Asia and seen the places they visit but this is the first time I have seen a place that looks like Greece!! 😍 I love it! ❤ Thank you.
We just spent a week here. It’s a beautiful place. If you want an authentic experience with culture, come. The people are wonderful. Plenty of options with food. And the beaches 15 minutes south are amazing. To enhance the experiences, say hello to the locals. Some are shy! But as soon as you say hello , they open up. We had so many nice people take photos with us .
Binh Dinh have some of the most amazing beaches in Vietnam in my personal opinion. Degi , the thon Villages..ect.. are some of the great beaches and they are free , unlike Ki Co eo gio.
This place looks sick man. I’m doing Vietnam solo for 3 months in September. Might be a big ask, but if you’re in vietnam then I’d love to buy you a beer!
hahaha Vietnamese coffee is like doing a line INDEED hahahah. never heard of Quy Nhon, need to get there and enjoy before it turns to Nha Trang and Da Nang! Great video dude!
Great video. I loved this city. Squid city lit up at night by the squid boats out at sea. It was hot when I was there too. Beach was cleaner than Nha Trang. My partner and I felt like the only foreigners there. My tieng Viet improved alot here.
Nice video of this lesser known city. And those things that look like windmills are called wind turbines. They create electricity by capturing the energy of the wind with every turn of those blades, that’s why you see them in windy areas.
As per my previous comments, I would stay maybe a week in Binh Dinh Province because it has very many Cham towers and a large fortress near its ancient capital of Cha Ban, north of Quy Nhon. Binh Dinh was formerly called Vijaya by the Cham.
Each province in Vietnam has a central market, which offers its own cheap, unique and delicious street food. Don't forget to stop by enjoying the specialty of each province. Have fun and be safe!
Thank you for your time and posting. Very nice video and thank you for posting the addresses on Google Maps. Nicely organized. Subscribed. BTW, it is 115 F/46 C degrees today in Las Vegas. :) I'll be visiting VN in October for about 6 weeks to see if I want to retire there. If it works out, which I hope, I'll come back to Oregon, sell everything else, and move. I tried Ecuador, Portugal, and Australia but didn't work out. Thanks again. Question please, there is no tipping, just pay the amount?
Quy Nhon is so nice, friendly, not so crowded as Nha Trang. Food is cheap. If Quy Nhon has more malls, hotels, entertainment, it will be more attractive than NT, very peaceful.
Hello David! We love your style of broadcasting on RUclips! We are also interested to know what kind of camera video gear that you are using? Would please write back to us asap!
beautiful food, really good demo of how to eat Vietnamese food - it's all about the condiments and assembly. Sometimes I hear ppl say vn food is bland, they just dunno how to eat it
Good-Day Mate from L.A.CA. Good choice to visit this place. Hard to find beaches like that any-more. I will visit this place when I go to Vietnam later this year. I am really impressed with the food in your country. I did not know there were so many choices. They all serve pretty-much the same thing here in L.A. Do you have any plans on re-turning to the Philippines any time soon. I think you were well receives there. Love that country my-self. Safe travels my friend. Tom the Cali.cat.
Thanks for these nice views of Quy Nhon, David! I live in Da Nang and will explore a few Viet islands this year, hence me researching Quy Nhon "on the way". Looks nice and perhaps worth a night's stay, it's great to have such videos to help one judge for oneself. One thing that made me laugh was locals complimenting how "well you speak Viet", LOL. That must've stung a bit hehe ;-)
Yeah QN is awesome, beaches are amazing and peaceful during the day, no hawkers or stuff bother you, the VCP don't let over building on the beach so only a few beach bars and the couple of hotel on the beach like the big blue one are scheduled for demo once they can get the owners out as they don't want hotels on the beach they want too keep the beach clean. Awesome place.
Video bellissimo !!! Il cibo che hai mangiato fantastico, ma non eri preoccupato per il ghiaccio e la verdura cruda ? Io provero' tutto escluso quelle cose😁😁😁
Awesome vid, I wish I could speak local languages! I am thinking of spending a month there, remote working and exploring. Do you think October and November is a good time? I know most of south east asia is rainy those month so looking for decent city locations where rain would not be a big problem. And I will rather save the tropical dreamy locations for after new years when weather gets better.
But (your) jokes aside: one line or one pill will immediately result in years of prison. If you get caught, bribe the cops af that very moment - $10-20K. If you’re booked in the system, you’re f*cked
Yeah that looks good 👍🏻 bit of a trial putting it together but worth it,the good thing about not being used to Vietnamese food,it’s just as good not knowing what you’re eating and finding it delicious 🤤
We went there too early. The Seagull hotel was the only major hotel on the beach there 10 years ago and it was so hot in July it was ridiculous. As usual the food was sensational but go in the winter time.
I have a cousin on my father’s side that lives there with her husband. My wife and I have been to Nha Trang, Da Nang, Phu Quoc so I guess this will be our next vacation spot.
Welcome to vietnam bro… I too enjoyed this beachside city when I first travelled here 2015… I have to say that Vietnamese foods in Australia is nothing like the real deal here vietnam 🇻🇳.. My opinion only . Hanoi have many Bánh hỏi lòng heo normal and I guess where you are a slightly different spin.. I’ve traveled all over Vietnam and there is always going to be a different take on a dish.. Xin moi em and enjoy this magical country for culture and real Vietnamese cuisine
Wonder why tourists only know Da Nang and Nha Trang? 😅 There are Quy Nhon, Tuy Hoa, Phan Rang, Phan Thiết, Hai Phong, Vung Tau,… 🤷🏽♂️ (not to mention Dai Lanh, Doc Lech, Mui Ne, Cam Ranh, Bai Duong,…)
big thumbs up to you for showing lesser known cities in VN.
I’m so glad you decided to stick to traveling around Việt Nam. I enjoy the videos so much! Safe travels David! Thanks for sharing!!
I drove from Da Nang to HCMC and back and Quy Nhơn was the city that stood out to me the most
What a great adventure. I am glad that the places you visited were not over-developed, not teeming with tourists, or having nightclubs all of the place. Safe travels.
Great information, I'd never heard of it.
I'm currently staying at Da Nang and enjoying it very much, you've inspired me to visit Quy Nhon.
Been the Vietnam twice thought Da Nang was awesome saw a heap of the country but missed Quy Nhon will check it out next trip cheers
Excellent program! Great job! So nice to see places I don't know yet.
love your videos man, i will go to vietnam in december this year.
Love the consistency, wish there was even more vietnam content on youtube!
Thank you Brother for this blog!
I am Vietnamese American currently living in Germany!
I have never heard of Quy Nhon but I lived the Buddhist temple and Eo Gio!
Thanks David. Quy Nhon is definitely on my radar for my next visit.

I live in HCMC and after watching your video, I’m hoping to go to Quy Nhon soon …
ye olde bánh hỏi...I like to call it "question cake"...nothing questionable about how good it is though. love that comment about the guy doing aerobics at the end. and Mini Messi was a g. Great video
It's asking cake not question cake. Because it's use for asking party (a party before wedding).
Great translation on bánh hỏi, just like cạo dó "scrach wins"
I love it there! Beautiful beaches, awesome night market and of course friendly people!
Good luck with Quy Nhon's climate: super hot in summer with frequent storms, raining/windy in the winter.
Da Nang is the worst lol stop lying
@@SPSquirtle I made no comments regarding Da Nang. But would like to hear why you think it's the worst.
@@SPSquirtlenot true. Da Nang has a great climat and is beautiful

Just what I like. Not tourists. Thanks david
Love Vietnam coffee😊
Ah DM Troi Oi, love your videos Bro. Supporting from Venice Beach, CA. Safe Travels, Bro.

Your "hood" wtf? This isn't America.

Nice manner that you have, makes the journey seem so uncontrived.
Thanks for introducing this lovely place that I have no idea existed. It has that Greece vibes tho. Very beautiful

Do you speak any of the language?
Appreciate the introduction to the lovely spots of Vietnam. Thanks for sharing David.
“ I am alive” Yes you are and making the most of it. Love the Nam trips you’re taking and show us. Thank you.
All of VN beaches got many activities n those city has beach also a very developed and dynamic.
Love it! Can’t wait for the next one 👍
Binh Dinh have some of the most amazing beaches in Vietnam in my personal opinion. Degi , the thon Villages..ect.. are some of the great beaches and they are free , unlike Ki Co eo gio.
Thanks for sharing new and exciting places in Vietnam! 😃
Visit Vietnam soon 😊
This place looks sick man. I’m doing Vietnam solo for 3 months in September. Might be a big ask, but if you’re in vietnam then I’d love to buy you a beer!
I’ll probably have gone by then. Safe travels brother!
"sick", as you put it, means ill. Americans bastardizing the English language to uselessness again.
Good show mate, I will put Quy Nhon on my list for next trip.
Gosh, I’ve been there for 5 days and did not try it. Love your video ❤
I have been eating Vietnamese since 1965 but now in my doddard years I see I will need new choppers (teeth) to enjoy it.
hahaha Vietnamese coffee is like doing a line INDEED hahahah. never heard of Quy Nhon, need to get there and enjoy before it turns to Nha Trang and Da Nang! Great video dude!

As per my previous comments, I would stay maybe a week in Binh Dinh Province because it has very many Cham towers and a large fortress near its ancient capital of Cha Ban, north of Quy Nhon. Binh Dinh was formerly called Vijaya by the Cham.
I was there last year and it was so delicious!
It’s an art putting that food together❤
your ray ban shades always reminds me of the first time i watched and how long I have been watching your vlogs
Real og 🙏
good stuff, u def have a major advantage knowing both languages and culture
look forward to more germs like this
Looks amazing! Thank you for sharing this gem, David.
Each province in Vietnam has a central market, which offers its own cheap, unique and delicious street food. Don't forget to stop by enjoying the specialty of each province. Have fun and be safe!

Quy Nhon has gotten a lot more tourist over the past few years
Very nice views David :)

Class food in Quy Nhon.
Top tier food indeed

Windmills don't create wind. That tasty looking offal dish might, though.
😂😂
Ai nói bạn nó ko tạo ra giố
My second comment. That dipping sauce is a recipe I must get.
Very beautiful place 🎉❤🎉
Nice .. enjoy your breakfast, but love Hoi An where I live. Guess though, I should expand my travel, even though I have lived many places in Vietnam.
We're heading there later this year! Super excited and great video!

TEQBALL!! 🤣🤣🤣that is awesome
Wow. The town looks a lot difference than 20 years ago.
i was there and is realy amazing i recommend 100%
Nice! Is decaf coffee easily be found in Vietnam? Btw that town is so much like Santorini!
Not too sure, we love the caffinated stuff over here haha
Video bellissimo !!! Il cibo che hai mangiato fantastico, ma non eri preoccupato per il ghiaccio e la verdura cruda ? Io provero' tutto escluso quelle cose😁😁😁
Maybe because I travel a lot I’m fine with it. Someone new might not be 😅

That’s generally monsoon season, but with Vietnam you never know. It might only rain for a30 mins at most then sunshine again
Bro, that windmill comment. Drugs is hellavu drugs 🤣

Vietnam on the rise 😊
No Russians at the beach wearing speedo’s …..excellent 😀👌🏼
Thank you big daddy 😅 may I buy you a beer wherever your next adventure take you.Take care and safe travels.
😅😂
Yes, it is a nice place if you can survive the heat in Quy Nhon in summer time.
Great video cuz
Is it cheaper than the other two? How is the public transportation?
Yeah definitely cheaper than the other too and more peaceful. Can use grab or rent a bike
You left your bike unattended like that sooner or later it gone good luck brotha 😁
In quy nhon, You can left it overnight and no one theft.
How come this dump town looks beautiful to you? I am staying in Nha Trang thank you very much.
"it's like doing a line" hahahaha
David will you ever do a meet n greet? Going to VN soon and would love to meet my hero
Good for you bro! It’s sometimes difficult to do your own shit and film it…Great content!
The owner shows him what to do and how to eat but actually he knows more than them all
THE CO-WORKERS ARE LOOKING AT DAVID UP AND DOWN VERY CAREFULLY THROUGHOUT THE BREAKFAST STOP, WONDERING WHO'S THIS OVERLY FRIENDLY GUY, LOOKS SUS, LOL
Thanks!
Thank you 🙏
I have a cousin on my father’s side that lives there with her husband.

Went there ten years ago stayed at the big blue hotel on beach.that was the only hotel then.not much to eat then that was the only problem.
Wonder why tourists only know Da Nang and Nha Trang? 😅
There are Quy Nhon, Tuy Hoa, Phan Rang, Phan Thiết, Hai Phong, Vung Tau,… 🤷🏽♂️ (not to mention Dai Lanh, Doc Lech, Mui Ne, Cam Ranh, Bai Duong,…)
Definitely the main spots and most developed I’d say. But definitely some smaller hidden gems
So trivial. Little things please little minds.
