I have this exact same bike, unfortunately the bolt is totally rounded on drive side and I can't get the axle out. Do you have any advice on how to get an axle that is rounded out of the wheel?
I have a Primer and love it, but the lack of a quick release on this bike is a fail. Especially out on the trail. Is there a conversation to a quick release 12mm axel that anyone knows of?
Is the locking axle also 14 Nm torque on the 2020 intense primer 29?It seemed pretty tight and don’t want to damage the frame. I set it at 9 Nm, would that be okay?THANK YOU in advance! 👍
Hi, I have an Intense 2018 Sniper XC Expert. I tried to remove rear axle but axle seems stuck with the frame on the non drive side. Axle thread on drive side already fully exposed but non drive side still not coming off the frame. Need your support. Thank you
You can use one like this: robertaxleproject.com/shop/lightning-bolt-on-axle-rear-12-mm-x-168-173-mm-x-1-0-thread/ or you can use a DT swiss quick release.
Wow. I guess this is what I get for not reading the manual. Have 2 intense bike and always complain about the rear axle grabbing the Allen when tightening. Turns out I’ve been doing it wrong the whole time. SMH.
