Love the channel, I just bought a 2017 q50s because I had a 1996 I30 when I was younger and that thing was a tank. I’ve never been into modding or tuning cars but all the cool stuff you and others do to their q50’s is making me try to figure out how to turn my sport into a red sport
VQ HR were no jokes. It’s being held back for US smog regulation. The new VQ Twin Turbo are crazy fast. Everyone likes to overlook them.

Thanks for the video my dude. Really starting to wish that I had held out for an AWD model seeing as I lose traction way too easily with RWD and didn't know you could easily go from all to rear with a simple trick for those burnouts. Still loving my Q especially with the JB4 I just installed today, mostly because of your vids Boost!

I just bought this car few days ago. Used of course. Still pricey. I couldn't believe the speed of these cars. I don't care about racing, but still blown away. I've seen 5 secs give or take, which is incredible in itself. Can't believe those numbers I'm seeing. Amazing. Has to be one of fastest sedans in that price range. Well, the numbers you're running. It's up there with any luxory sport sedan or muscle cars. And I was never a fan of nissan/infiniti. Good job bro.
S6 is a beast. No way on earth a stock or tuned Q50 can beat this car in any universe.
Oh adams of course it can. S6 is heavy af. Horsepower isn’t always it. Power to weight ratio is.
Also this S6 is on his second set of turbos in 6 months.
The S6 is a beast from a dead stop in any mode. The Infiniti wouldn't come close. I smoke these infinitis..all the time--even in comfort mode.

Yep, break boosting between 2000-2500 rpm is definitely better results by at least 2 tenths consistently. Best I got with my stock Q60 AWD Red Sport was 4.05 with temps in the low 20's to high teens, low humidity and high barometer. I'll typically see low 4's in good weather conditions (4.1x-4.3x). But it does put a strain on the torque converter if yo do it too much. Another awesome vid, thanks for taking the time to do these comparisons 👍

Nice vid, Boost. I like the runs. I forgot now, you AWD or RWD? I have a RWD Q60 with just the Axle Back from Infiniti and a JB1 (I know, I know, not a JB4). I plan on getting AMS Intakes and installing a Y-Pipe myself from Tanabe. I hope to get something similar but I think my RWD will be slower off the line. What do you think?
Yes I am AWD. Also with the jb1 you know you can run up to a +8 in map3 if you get the blue or the usb cable.

I would like to put some numbers from my own tests for your reference. 2017 GSF(7K miles) = 4.93, 2007 G35S (112K miles) = 5.05, 2019 Q60 3.0t(300hp, 6K miles) = 5.25, 2014 Q50 3.7(6K miles) = 5.38, 2010 M35X(30K miles) = 5.82.
All the tested cars were stock and the tests were done in the same location and similar weather and condition with iphone DYNOLICIOUS. I think these cars will do much better when they are getting old...
By the way I own GSF, G35S and M35X currently. Believe it or not. So far all the parts in my OLD G are still original factory parts except maintenance items. It just keeps running faster STRANGELY...
In addition, my old G was a used auction car when I bought it 9 years ago. Maybe I should try a Q50 used RENTAL car next time when my G dies (if it will die)...

My 19 Luxe came with Bridgestone Potenzas, was happy I didn't get stuck with Dunlops but these don't grip at all with JB4
Nitto nt555r solves your problems. Street legal race tire, it's JDM and can be driven in the rain. Lower profile and wide surface with few grooves means you got grip.
I currently have a 370z Nismo. As tempting as it is to buy the Q50 I know the new Z is right around the corner.

Yeah it's only for the turbo version cars not for the 3.7.

Is your car RWD or AWD?
You were able to get 0-60 under 5 sec on map 0? That's stock with just bolt-ons
I got under 5 seconds with brake boosting stock and ams intakes.
It was about 30 degrees outside also

If the Audi is an S6 it’s minimum spec is v8
torque converter transmissions don't like brake boosting in the long run.
2500 rpms should be fine for a long while. Esp with the upgraded tranny cooler in the RS

At this time no. I never used ewg and I don’t recommend fuel wires
2500rpm is way to low for an awd car. Do it have some limiter or stall? If your tires aren't chirping out the hole your launch is too weak
We don't have launch control and our stall goes as high as 2500. I'm all wheel drive so I don't have traction issues out the hole

The rev limiter. But also you can run map6 where you can choose how much boost you want to run throughout the RPM range

You have to remember online websites that show 0- 60s. Actually use a 5-60mph or a 5 five foot roll out to get low times.
It's the way that they fluff up the numbers. This S6 could probably break into the 3s.

The first and second gear you have the time right so that you don't bang against the fuel cut. Take some practice.

I believe the times will be more around 4.5. Because in this weather now I get a ride around.

He's a unicorn. He has a mad scientist of a tuner. Plus he pushes these cars to the Max
Wait for the new Q60. Better infotainment system and better handling because is steering boost limiter. I'm keeping my 2012 G37xS Coupe (Red) with bolt on's and Uprev Osiris dyno tune. Wider tires, FSTB, wheel spacers. Custom interior. Cat back with exhaust bolt on's. Plenty fast. Don't forget that Q60s use the same chassis, brakes, sequential shift transmission, suspension etc. Just a different Infotainment system, engine and steering.
Also G37xS Coupes start driving as 100% RWD then progressively pull from front if grip slips just like Porsche and BMWs.
I'm being petty. It doesn't sound like it's that fast. But pulling those kind of numbers is awesome. I may switch my g over to the new platform

S6 whith RS7 turbos and tune will get 700hp easy..
Not to sound like engineering explained here but you’ll get the best results by leaving the car in drive instead of shifting manually. The computer knows the best rpm to shift.
Based on my testing of about 20 pass. The results proved that manually shifting brought down my 0-60mph times on average .2-.3
That's the difference of 11.2 and 10.9 pass in a quarter mile. Those milli are crucial.
Boost In Motion that’s interesting. Maybe with the tune it’s quicker to shift sequentially than to let the computer do it. Also can you launch the car several times without a few minutes without the transmission getting too hot?
I did 2 minute cooldown sessions between everyone why drove at about 50 miles an hour. It cool down the transmission and heat exchanger Temps

Most people that follow my channel know that I have a 2018 Q50 silver sport.
It has AMS intakes and everything else is stock. My car is running a jb4 which is it up a boost controller. And it allows me to run faster and more consistent times using a dragy GPS device that gives accurate 0-60 and 0-100 mphs 1/4 etc
