Thanks for reacting to STMLT! I'm glad this band have got such great exposures lately, particularly after they got the three new members and rebirth with this banger. They are a group of RUclipsrs who also play music in a band. They upload a new video everyday, mostly funny challenges and skits, that's why you will find more than a thousand videos in their official YT channel, but they still have only a few songs. You can react to their old songs with previous members to have a sense of comparison, or you can react to their live version of this song which they uploaded some three weeks ago. Thanks again!! 🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼

the reason for this is that Japan has compulsory music education for everyone. In middle school, everyone already knows the notes, can play something (even if poorly), and knows the basics of an orchestra. In high school, those who have talent go to school music clubs, and that's where bands appear. And they are in every school. Boys often go to sports clubs, but girls who have talent go specifically to music clubs.

I absolutely love this girls 😍
This is only their seventh song, with the first ones being more like rock with a touch of metal but getting slightly harder over time. This is their first new song with three new band members, the drummer, the keyboarder and the rap/harsh vocals singer.
They were casted by some youtubers/idol groups that I followed about two years ago and I was pretty happy when their first song came out and it was not the typical shallow idol group music but more on the rock side.
They do a lot of youtube videos with stuff like pranks and challenges as well and although that is fun to watch and gives the opportunity to know them in a much more personal way, I really hope they put more effort in their music in future because they got so much better since they started that it would be a shame if they were slowed down by this double burden.
They also released a live version of this song and one of their fifth song which were recorded during their first concert with the new line-up and both of them are fantastic 🤩

I've first discovered them almost a year ago. While they had their heavier moments, the songs overall had a poppier vibe then than Antimental.
They recently added two new members. Antimental is, I think, the first release since then. So I guess they also shifted their musical style a bit with that.
I like this style and am looking forward to what they do next.

They have a Live Version from Yokohama they had put out right after this. Think it hits better live. This is their new line up after their Drummer and Keyboardist who would growl, left earlier this year. They then added a new Drummer and Keyboardist.. Then added a Growler vocalist (sounds better than the one who left) last not too long ago. Think it's a good new direction for them.

Hello, good sir! just wanted to recommend a metal artist/band out of Brazil. The artist's name is Dan Vasc (shortened from Vasconcelos) and his band is called Fearless. Dan is an independent artist... by choice. He had some dealings with a couple of labels in the past and didn't like what that world was all about. He started a RUclips channel and began doing covers of all sorts of different genres, including metal to try and build a following and slowly built up a very loyal fan base. He really took off a couple of years ago with a "metalized" version of Amazing Grace and just reached a million subscribers about a month ago. The man can sing literally anything and absolutely slay it. He has classical training and it shows in everything he does. His band (and Dan's passion) is more symphonic/heavy metal and they have a self produced album that came out in 2019 called "Chronicles Of Ancient Wisdom". (my favorite song on the album is "Tale With No End"). Dan's vocal influences include Andre Matos, Bruce Dickenson, Fabio Leone, Jorn Lande, Mathias Nygard, Andrea Bocelli, Pavarotti and many others. His composition influences include, Helloween, Avantasia, Manowar, Iron Maiden, Sabaton, Nightwish, Shaman and many others.
He has a 4 octave range and as I mentioned, he sings everything from folk, classic rock, opera and musical theater to ballads, "bardcore metal" and of course symphonic and heavy metal. Some of his covers are straight forward and others he'll "metalize", but he puts his own touches on everything he does. His metal remake of Celine Dion's hit "My Heart Will Go On" will knock your socks off! Dan also has an extremely loyal following of over a million fans, many of whom watch every single reaction to his music they can find and more often than not they'll follow the reactor as well. I highly recommend that you check his channel out. I realize that some reactors don't really like to react to music that they already know, but I promise you that Dan's music is so much more than just "covers". He has over 240 pieces in his catalog and I haven't found one that wasn't incredible. Cheers!

Such a banging good song. After delving through so much of the Japanese music scene the past few years, I have to say , they just "do it better". Metal, Rock, Punk, Jazz ... Tokyo has pretty much become the Jazz capital of the world. It's not just the level of talent these artists have, but HOW MANY talented artists there are. One would think that would water it all down, but as you stated in this reaction, it doesn't seem to matter who or what you're going to check out, it's almost guaranteed to be really good.

I think 90s American music was better. But I've already heard that. A lot.

@@Jordan-Ramses I would actually say the 80s was the magical era for metal in the US. While legendary bands like Priest, Maiden, Ozzy, Dio, etc were still in high gear, a whole new era emerged with a wide range of new metal genres that took over the scene by storm, from the likes of Motley Crue, Twisted Sister, Dokken, to heavier acts like Slayer, Metallica, Exodus, Anthrax, Merciful Fate, Queensryche .... not to mention that all these bands best material were probably FROM those days in the 80s. What I see happening today in the Japanese metal scene, reminds me of that 80s era in America. A tidal wave of talent. The 90s were still good, but for myself, I think that is when it all started to water down and people gravitated towards more mainstream metal.

@nailingjellotoawall I don't disagree. But I'd give the 90s a slight edge. I don't only care about Metal. In the 90s you had Nirvana and Eminem and Korn etc etc.

Channel started with brilliant Brothers of Metal, your may continue discovering Scandinavian metal scene. I assume you already familiar with biggest players like Nightwish, Epica, Within Temptation... There is Orden Ogan, Dynazty, Peyton Parrys, Miracle of Sound and so on.
I would personally recommend Battle Beast. If you pick only tracks with good quality videos check out "Eye of the Storm".
