It is absolutely insane how many of these Japanese female metal/hard rock bands are out there. Most of them are totally fabulous though I am partial to LOVEBITES. There's a Korean band named Rolling Quartz which are very good. Their latest is Victory, maybe check it out.

I like this mix of violin and guitar. This is the first time i ever watched or listened to East of Eden and im digging it. Im certainly up for more reactions from you on these talented ladies. One suggestion i would highly recommend is reacting to a Nemophila track called Enten. Unfortunately it is audio only but it's one of my favourite tracks. Enten combines traditional Japanese musical instruments and singing with in your face metal that pulls no punches. Rock on dude.🤘

Just for your info, E of E is a project band started by Ayasa (violin) who is a famous member of the band Morfonica. The band is getting many fans now so they may go far. Yuki (g) is a famous guitarist in Japan and a current member of D_Drive, she is a top tier musician. Wakazaemon is a famous session musician who toured with Marty Friedman. She is amazing. Akane (vocals) is famous for being a former Idol band member of Predia which disbanded in 2022 after 8 years. She was the lead vocal. (side note, Akane knows both Kanami and Akane of Band-Maid because they were all in a project band called 'Mochi to Cheese' when B-M was in its infancy. Both Predia and B-M were in the same management company at the time.) Mizuki (drums) is an excellent drummer and is a current member of all female band Lonesome_Blue. All of the instrumentalists are real freaks on their instruments.

I'm colored, and I am a metalhead for over 40 years and I'm right-wing. Just because I call myself a metalhead doesn't mean I can't love other types of music genres. I love Tom MacDonald as he not pro-woke, pro-BLM, pro-Biden/Harris, pro-rainbow, pro-indoctrination. He's kinda the Keanu Reeves of the music industry.

Only recently discovered EoE myself, like you through YT recommending them. As others have said, if you like a bit of violin, check out Unlucky Morpheus. Their violinist,Jill, has also done a session where she covers classic metal songs, including Van Halen's Eruption. Another suggestion would be Asterism. No violins and only one female member in the three piece but well worth looking at. I understand how you feel. I've been a metalhead since '78 when I first heard Judas Priest. I've always stayed as far away from rap as I could. One of my coworkers had me listen to Tom in 2020 & I fell into a bottomless rabbit hole. I think the reason I enjoy his songs is because the lyrics are serious and hilarious at the same time. I also love the spirit of staying independent while saying whatever he wants to say....which aligns with the spirit of metalheads?

If you want more violin & Japanese metal definitely check out Unlucky Morpheus. Unlucky Morpheus also have an instrumental "sub group" they call Quadratum. Their cover of Yngwie Malmsteems 'Far Beyond The Sun' should give you all the Violin goodness you could want. I'd also like to see you get into some older Japanese metal. Check out the bands Galneryus & Maximum The Hormone. Galneryus in particular I think you'll love because their guitarist is right up there with the best of the best. Listen to their song 'Angel of Salvation' for some crazy solos. This will also get you away from just the female metal bands and maybe get some new stuff into your youtube algorithm haha.

You probably liked it for the same reason you might like trans-siberian orchestra. Maybe you don't like the message maybe it's not your style of music, but it's catchy as hell because it's put together really well. People like Tom for the facts and the shock factor, but almost no one gives him credit for being an absolute musical genius. If you listen carefully you can pick out a lot of runs, and background sounds that just make the song absolutely pop. Tom is known for being a rapper, but honestly I would call him a composer. He studies the "feel" of a song. Go listen to "Dirty Money", even if you don't like the video or lyrics, pay attention to the song. He knows how to make it build really well. Tom doesn't just throw lyrics and a beat together, he creates an experience and more often than not its a hit.

EoE is an amazing band, Wakazaemon is one of my favorite bassists and they really are a Super Group. Have you ever heard of Bridear? They dropped a new album a couple of months ago and it’s fire, check out Still Burning mv, you won’t be disappointed.

Mynsuggestion when listening to Tom is to have the lyrics pulled up. He starts EVERY song fast and sometimes his lyrics come out fast as hell, BUT, ALL of his songals have a message that needs to be heard and understood.

This one song is Tom Trolling the woke agenda. He has a huge variety in his songs. This song is not atypical. Do check out some of his others to get a better understanding of him. I started with "People So Stupid". I don't listen to any other rapper. My favorite band is still Def Leppard.

Wakazaemon (Bassist) has done work with Marty Friedman (Ex-Megadeath guitarist) and KoiAi (Hazuki from Nemophila also plays with them + Lisa-X). She is very talented, Yuki is one of the best guitarists in Japan....and there are some elite ones there,. The violinist, Ayasa, is uber talented (And yes the Japanese can shred on violin apparently), MIZUKI is a highly regarded session drummer, who was lso with Lonesone Blue. Akane is an incredible vocalist (She's friends with Asami from Lovebites). Like other Japanese bands they are masters of their intruments.

If you liked the violin/guitar combo then I'd also recommend checking out Unlucky Morpheus with violinist Jill, they're more towards the metal end of the spectrum. If you want the heavier end of things, I'd start with the official live video for Black Pentagram or the MV for The Black Death Mansion Murders. Four of the members also have an instrumental sub-unit called Quadratum that did a bunch of covers of classic hard rock, metal and shred songs arranged for violin, guitar, bass and drums.

This is from their second EP that came out a month ago, the band itself has only been going since last August, though the members are all fairly experienced and have known each other previously through various other projects. The de-facto bandleader who brought everyone together is violinist Ayasa; having started on the instrument aged three, she's now known for playing five string violin (the extra string means extending the pitch & tonal range to that of both a violin and a viola). She's a member of Morfonica (a band from the music based anime franchise BanG Dream! Project), as well as many other support gigs and her own solo career which is a mixture of classical music and anime song covers. Bassist Wakazaemon is an in demand session/support bassist, with some of her other recent gigs including playing in the touring bands of Marty Friedman (ex-Megadeth), Ryuichi Kawamura (frontman of Luna Sea, a legendary Visual Kei Band), Koiai (featuring guitarist Hazuki from Nemophila) and Maximum the Hormone offshoot franchise band COTTELEE. Guitarist Yuki is a member of instrumental rock group D_Drive, drummer Mizuki plays in j-rock band Lonesome Blue and singer Akane was formerly the main vocalist in idol group Predia (she was also in a short lived project with the drummer and lead guitarist from Band-Maid).

I am surprised that no body had recommended this band to you. I do not recommend bands because I always though they were already recommended. One band I used to recommend alot is WHiskey Dust but no reactors seem to be interested in checking them out. It is a shame really because they are a kick ass Hard Rock Japanese band that will take you back to the days of GNR, van Haeln Motley Crue and the like. They are a supergroup the guitarist is Yuki she's from a band named D_drive shes kinda big name on guitars. the bassist i recognise her she played for marty friedman's backing band she's also well known session bassist. The drummer is from a the band lonesome blue. Thats all i know they are related with nemophila maybe thats why its on your algorithm the drummer of nemophila plays with the bassist on session gigs.

I know your mainly looking for new metal bands to react to. But are you open to check out a fellow country man of yours? East of Eden are great. They essentially started as a super group of already established musicians that all have other projects/bands, started by Ayasa (the violinist). I second the other comment to react to Evolve (Extended Version) next. That song was their debut and made me absolutely fall in love with the band.

I’m very surprised they haven’t been suggested yet. They are awesome for sure. I’d do Evolve (Extended Version) next. It was the very first track they released. Violin is in every song. My understanding is that the violinist is who more or less pulled the band together. Pay close attention to the bassist too because she is an absolute monster of a player and I feel she gets overlooked a bit due to the complexity of their music

The great thing about Tom is he’s trying to remind people we live in a free society. And, taking ourselves too seriously takes away a bit of our soul. ❤ I appreciate your take ❤🤘
