What a poor crop of Maize... Maize crops in NZ are getting 25t/ha and are the height of the chopper cab 3 meter's. yours are half that .... Good video though. i like playing in the mud too
The expense of establishing a crop of maize only to be confronted with this type of shit at harvesting, makes you wonder about the whole process. Not to mention the knock on effect on the next years crop with the state of the field.
Correct friesiancowboy, the field might look good as new next year but getting mucked like this hurts the soil structure and takes several years to recover. On the other hand, what do you do when the crop has to be cut and ground conditions are not ideal, its a difficult choice but if it was my choice, non of these big machines would be in the field.
Well, little bit turned with stupid ways but not so dramatic when you can see its so wet. Greetings from Finland. We are waiting to get to the fields with New Hollands!
i used to be a contractor doing maize in wet swampy areas, when you get stuck the worst thing you can do is spin your wheels fast. Any real driver knows this fact.
i guess it saves on cultivation costs haha, although its going to need a heavy regrade, funny the little boy knows the truth with his john deere overalls on :)
good vid, thats hardship there boys.its naw easy.thats were you want your best drivers.not some young boy who is going to sit spinning and bury her,you want the men who can feel the grip and know when to give it to her and when to stop.not sure about the man with the back and forward tactic when he got stuck, all i ever seen that doing was making the tracks bigger and always ended up in a tow or push anyway.the redrock earned her keep that day anyway, fair handy just like the man driving her.
friesiancowboy, if you watch carefully, they use the tractor with the front tyre to push the tractor and trailer. It’s to prevent damaging either the pushing tractor’s front linkage or the trailer.
You can tell who can drive a tractor and who can't in that video. One is driven steady and keeps going and one is driven rough, all revs and smoke and showing off and guess what? He gets stuck. Bet he breaks everything.
good video, those boys suffered that day, serious hardship on men and machines, hope the farmer was thankful and not on bout the damage like a lot i know wuld have been. wuldn like my machines workin like that, but sometimes what can ya do
Just wondering, when the Jag got stuck at 5:22, would it be possible to drop the header and lift the front wheels with the header hydraulics in order to place blocks/mats under the tyres, or are the hydraulics not powerful enough for that?
not really true. every soil have different structure. Ours for fields for example gets destroyed like this almost every year or every third year because we hade wet climate and in time of harvesting maize allot of rain comes down. But you won't belivet every year corn grow again ;) Sry for my bad english :D
Soil structure damage so just not worth it ,very expensive machinery all covered in mud and as stated by somebody else you couldnt go onto a public road ,mud would go everywhere ( but in jest it's good to watch ,just not with my equipment !! ) ~~~
Love watching the older choppers work it's so more quieter than the new ones
But so much slower
Wat a great video this was ,, watch it over and over again each year haha
The Tractors look GREAT 💪💪👍👍👍
Epic stuff, some power in the new Hollands, the Deere would be buried in 2 mins there
This is a really high quality video for 2011
that new hollands huffin and puffin lovely! :)

fordfalcon2 and it’s two completely different climates
Wouldn't like to see the road after that!!
Stunning video, NH tractors are awesome
4:55 pschiiüüüüüü :D I love that turbo sound !

You hit it bang.
that redrock loader is some beast
Fair play for not giving up great idea of the tyre on front for pushing each other.

OHH GEE well thanks for clearing that up mr MG1135.. with my 20 year's driving tractors i had know idea what smoke meant
Well, little bit turned with stupid ways but not so dramatic when you can see its so wet. Greetings from Finland. We are waiting to get to the fields with New Hollands!
i don´t think you need to plough that field afterward when they´re done with it XD
This was my first statement when I started watch de video
Seriously. Giants need to put this in Farming Simulator 19 as a mod. Stuck in the mud mod 😂
Good day to be on the clamp.
Wonder what the road was like after the drove on it with them tyres
serious video lad outstandin stuff keep em comin 5***
well, he did say if you saw it, he wasn't talking about the soil structure or any of that... ;)
Doubt it. It takes the soil structure several years to get back the way it was.
That's a serious handlin.
This is why u get nh instead of jd
Take your shoe off the trailer that acts as a anchor

all depends, you have to try abit to get out but the main theing is to know when to stop.
Wouldn't of had that problem with a Deere because it would still be in the workshop from the 15 things wrong with it
i guess it saves on cultivation costs haha, although its going to need a heavy regrade, funny the little boy knows the truth with his john deere overalls on :)
Tego już nie trzeba orać :P

whats the tyre on the front for?

Beautiful sound engine.
harvesting and ploughing in one pass
best machines of the lot
exelent! hard work!
new holland sound are amazing!
Thats the biggest problem with farming today, everything is so bloody huge, but hey nothing they cant fix with some extra fertilizer:)
@spyla24
Thanks. Im from Fermanagh but this was taken just outside derry city
Man hätte genauso gut eine Bombe rein hauen können :D
Das Feld wieder gerade zu grubbern war sicherlich Spaß pur!
That must have been a very long day..
Great video!!!
What a mess:)
Camera work is fantastic, who in their right mind plants Maize inside in a fuck’n bogg.
I know them tractors are able for it, but that hard on machinery..
The biggest problem is that the farms and fields are getting way to big that its not possible to get everything done with smaller machines
They should buy trailers with traction and tracks on the chopper ...
@friesiancowboy
Its sohe can push the other trailers without damaging them.
blue smoke is bad, black is bad when its a light load, but that is real hard pulling.
bais are getting it tight here.

+matttb71 He kind of has too because he got bogged?? clearly he wasn't showing off.
Wow nearly 4000 subs and 1 million views
good video, those boys suffered that day, serious hardship on men and machines, hope the farmer was thankful and not on bout the damage like a lot i know wuld have been. wuldn like my machines workin like that, but sometimes what can ya do
good way to plough the field :P
I can't understand why people have to go to these lengths to make forage maize when the same tonnage is possible with grass.
Just wondering, when the Jag got stuck at 5:22, would it be possible to drop the header and lift the front wheels with the header hydraulics in order to place blocks/mats under the tyres, or are the hydraulics not powerful enough for that?
wouldnt like to be in there after the days rain and sleet
That new holland is smoken a whole lot to ... to much for a new'ish tractor
What country
Yes that is very true as well.
have they all masseys now
Hey some video. Bit of a nightmare that! where in northern ireland are ya?
9:20
MASSAGE
MOR MOR
you need trailer with pto powered and problem solved ...6x6
up against it is not the word. torture is....
Nightmare of a job in them conditions.
A lot of Iveco power here
blue power at work ;)
Thats hard on equipment why would you ne in the field if it was that muddy ??
how? you try it, you would get stuck trying to get trough the gate.
Not really, and its not strong enough to hold up the entire machine either, and the header doesent go down deep enough
guys, you need one tractor, big tractor without trailer to pushing another tractors :D
dobry sprawdzian dla kierowcow, nice wideo !
class thats some wet feild
proper video
the road must be a right off.
nie ma to jak tandem z napędem
NH has realy nice voice !!!
Is this killen bros??
Yeah blue killens
Jaysus and i though boho was bad this time of year
Do they charge for ploughing aswell
the New Holland are the best and this video proves it
so why did one get stuck with no much in trailer

Sry for my bad english :D
If you seen it today you wouldnt say that. Its like new
Best tractors in the world just drive them fulla the pipe!!
einfach geil . . .
Fee handlins there alright
Nice video
hard work bi. is it worth it?
MOLTO BRAVII
Maheramasson just outside Derry city
NH Power!
Not meaning to be negative but why the heck would they be working in such a wet field ???
I guess they need to harvest or it'll be a total loss. So they have no other option
Soil structure damage so just not worth it ,very expensive machinery all covered in mud and as stated by somebody else you couldnt go onto a public road ,mud would go everywhere ( but in jest it's good to watch ,just not with my equipment !! ) ~~~
¡que feo es trabajar en el barro!
6 rags for the 890???
the feild is fairly damaged unreal gear !!
I know someone has one like that smokes like mad so called it Smokey Joe. Lol
She's probably chipped.
Did you ever hear of compaction ? What mullicking
Ever hear of getting the crop off the ground
Imagine the yields if you didnt do this every year or third or whatever you do!!
Thanks, that makes sense
