i absolutely love how at the end of the movement "disappearance of snow", the notes actually fade away, leaving the staff. bravo.

Sometimes composers write what are de facto concerti for orchestra but title them with other names e g Szymaowski and Steve Reich. I have always thought of Scheherazade as a kind of concerto for orchestra
